PoliticsRe: Obiano Deploys Hi-Tech Surveillance And Drones As Anambrans Raise N100 Million by Kossyne(m): 7:19am On Jul 28, 2014
This is a step in the right direction. It does not call for tribal bashing or ethnic bigotry. It's time to take the fight against crime to the next level. Other Governors should borrow a leaf from Obiano.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Is The Only Country In The World Celebrating Eid-el-fitri Today by Kossyne(m): 7:59pm On Jul 27, 2014
Well, I wouldn't be surprised if Nigeria has its own moon. This is a land of possibilities.

I wouldn't be surprised if some folks start blaming GED for the "missing" moon.

Seriously, nothing about this country surprises me anymore.

freakcin: I think Lamido is truly demonstrating the fact that he is against BH.
Against what?...strategized propaganda. We need him to be proactive not reactive. For crying out loud, these heinous acts are happening under his very nose.

lakad4u: learn how to respect other people's religion, even if they worship paper, its what they believe in,so why saying rubbish...and come to talk of it,they have proof to everything they do,not just something of fixed date that has been existing when we don't even know and how sure its what is used to be..imagine a religion, sighting a moon to know a new month, its shows there religion authenticity, because I believe is a thing of practical.not just by book..
You must be demented. A religion that does not have respect for human lives deserves no respect. You have no right to destroy what you can't create.

kastonkastrol: May their souls rip.... Gej the confused slowpoke, when will you and your evil party solve the problem of insecurity in this country?

His next statement will be "we will look into it" and at the end of the day this evil bh boys won't be brought to book. Smh
For once leave GED out of this. Let me ask you a simple question. If you happen to be in his shoes. What would you have done differently?

Jesusloveyou: Pls tell gej to stop his boys from killing nigerians.because he want $1b to waste for his 2015 re-election
You must be deranged. Innocent lives are lost and you want to use it as an excuse for political bashing. Are you not ashamed of yourself?.

PoliticsRe: Picture Of Young Sanusi, His Grand-dad , Bello And A British Diplomat by Kossyne(m): 10:54pm On Jul 25, 2014
CHAIRMAN1: THE YOUNG LAD IN THE PICTURE ISN'T SANUSI L. SANUSI

In a bid to make Sanusi’s ascension to the throne look immaculate, there’s a mischievous image lauding/laundering campaign going on.  This is evident from the Specimen picture I've attached.

The picture has been in circulation online since yesterday. And People are saying the little kid in the picture is Sanusi Lamido Sanusi being introduced by his Grandpa, the then Emir to the British Governor General. It shows how everything has been politicized. A little background check should have been carried out before this hogwash went viral.

If you look closely, the name of the Prince is Muhammad Sanusi Um**(maybe Umar).

I think the guy in the pix is the present Emir of dutse. Dutse was formerly a part of the old Kano state, his name approximates to the name in the old paper. Only Um** is missing. Sanusi Lamido Sanusi is way off the mark from the name in that paper.

The paper refers to the British man standing as Sir James Robertson. James Robertson was the second Gov. General of Nigeria and he reigned between 1955 and 1960. So it means that picture was taken on or before 1960.

Sanusi's profile tells us he was born in 1961. So he wasn't even born when this shot was taken.

So our friends in the APC need to do some background check before spreading misinformation.

It didn't take me up to three minutes to look up all of this.

This goes to show how gullible Nigerians can be as we tend to swallow everything the media throws at us; hook, line and sinker. In these perilous times, laziness to research shouldn't be an option.

Ok, repeat after me, I will never fall for cheap propaganda (say it again, 101 more times)
Did you find out when the said Emir of Dutse was born?. That would lend credence to your claim.

Symphony007: more than half a century after almagamation, nigeria was not ready for self governance? so you believe 50 or 100 more years of british rule who has eviscerated nigeria's tribal divisions which is the bain of our problems right now? What do you think the british would have done post 1960 that they could'nt have done since 1914?
Dude you just nailed it. Some folks just have slave mentality.

I'm not saying that what he did was right but I think he did you a favour. Why would someone call himself a troll. That's a bit awkward don't you think?

UnknownT: Ok! I just needed another Nairaland account I will use to troll every section, d moniker was formerly unknowntroll . Then Seun banned me till 2024 claiming Nairaland doesn't accept trolls, I was shocked cos I know even as a troll, I neva violated any rule so I sent him a pm telling him to go thru my posts and check if I violated any rule instead of banning me, he rather change d moniker. So my people that is how he removed d roll from my moniker
LWKMD. Are you for real?

dragan: I would go on my rants but I'd rather not for the simple fact that we both know you have no idea what's going on in Nassarawa and you are just Pro impeachment of a working Governor of a state you absolutely do not care about just because you believe it will weaken an opposition party that you hate and strengthen a Party you support. Anyway i don't give a crap what you choose to believe or support but at least just for once in your pathetic lives just have the decency to admit the real reasons why all this Impeachment crap started and not hide behind pathetic accusations that are entirely false and misguided yet idiots like the OP have already branded them as PROVEN because that's just the kind of misguiding you're good at doing.

Ughh, i ended up ranting. Coming on to this forum and reading through all the crap you call opinions just pisses me off! i think i am just better off not giving a crap about this forum anymore.
You rant. Good thing you realize that. See you on the next thread cause you ll definetly be there.
PoliticsRe: Civil Servants Fault Okonjo-iweala On N1.8tn Wage Bill by Kossyne(m): 11:41am On Jul 25, 2014
eaglechild: They are public servants.
Public servants are not civil servants.

Civil servants work in core government ministries and they are usually appointed while public servants can be elected or appointed.
PoliticsRe: Civil Servants Fault Okonjo-iweala On N1.8tn Wage Bill by Kossyne(m):
eaglechild: Alade seems to be speaking from both sides of his mouth, on one hand you admit that Nigerian politicians are the most expensive to pay, on the other you say the wage bill is overestimated.

Yet again you go complaining that civil servants are underpaid.

If you are to pass across any info to someone as smart as NOI then learn to speak coherently.
Political office holders are not civil servants. I think your statement is what lacks coherence.
