ClintonNzedimma: ..... not that dream killing coach Mourinho....no African player thrives under that guy.Drogba did. |
That's good for him. I pray he doesn't rest on his oars. There's still much work to be done. |
9c one. |
richarts: Maybe it's judgement day for the politicians.Someone just died a very horrible death...someone's husband, father, uncle, leader, king, son, grandfather and this is all could think of. Sometimes the way people think can be perplexing. |
This is what folks in the west call a LANDSLIDE. |
That's a good one. |
WoodcrestMayor: There are phone booths powered by Airtel around campus.students own prepaid card that can be used to call wen the need arises. So what's the noise all about? I'm certain they all have laptops. They should use it to surf the net whenever the need arises. |
OP your question is a bit vague. Do you mean the frequency(ie the number of plates) or intervals. Cos some folks here claiming that they eat once in day eat three plates of food @ a time. So to answer your question. I don't really count the stuff. It all depends on the availability of food and how busy I am. |
shehuAO: All politicians cheats before they get to where they are,so it is not bad for students to cheats at Exams.this is Nigerian, every body is corrupt from head to toe.Two wrongs cannot make a right. You can't justify cheating just because some people do it and get away with it. Cheating is wrong no matter who is involved. |
GSKing: After 4 or 5 years of study, a full grown graduate of computer science cannot design a simple application a 13 years old Ukrainian does at his leisure time due to these restrictions! How many computer science graduates from our so called public universities with "no restrictions" can design an application? Some don't even know a single programming language. I don't see how banning phone use on campus affects students' abilities to learn. |
Yomieluv: I hope covenant absorbs them after graduation, cos they are just breeding zombies all in the name of university. So you expect them to break school rules and regulations?...#smh for you. |
It's a bit extreme I ll say but I trust the management have their reasons. Meanwhile an alternative form of communication should be provided, maybe campus phone booths. |
At least this shows that our situation is not an entirely hopeless one but what puzzles me is what led to the sudden miraculous recovery. Was any form of serum administered to them or does it have to do with their gene or something... |
I don't have problem with bloggers who try to drive traffic on their blog or websites, but I can't say the same for misleading topics.. Something like "Signs that proves you lack confidence" would have suffice. |
A beggar alwaysWell said. |
shadrach77: I counted 20 Ebola related topics currently featuring on the front page, including the two that have been added in the last one hour. Now we need to spread hope not fear. Okay, there is an outbreak but the continual reporting is an attempt by the west to paint Africa in a bad light. I can't remember them reporting vigourously when "bird flu" epidemic was spreading all around Europe. Let's be wise and desist from helping them in denigrating our continentOn the contrary I think proper information and sensitization on Ebola is what we need right now. You can't solve your problem when you lack adequate information about the problem. Frequent news and threads on the virus will make people to be cautious and not to down play the severity of the situation. Proper information will also reduce the spread of the virus. Ebola kills, Ignorance kills faster. |
wikiman: We need to really get serious with research in this country and stop focusing on frivolous things asIn as much as I abhor the level of religious fanatism in Nigeria, I am sick of people who sit on their hands and criticize others when they are guilty of the same crime. Coming to nairaland to complain about the ineptitude of Nigerian government and the popualce don't just cut. Dear Critic, What have you done in your own capacity as a private individual to mitigate the spread of this virus?. Can you list 10 things you have done recently which is in the interest of the public other than you own private gain? If you happen to be the President of Nigeria, what would you do differently? In what ways have you solved problems within your immediate community? Until we as individuals can provide answers to these questions and other ones, we are all guilty of complacency, ignorance and laziness. |
luvola: It not like that. Remember this is a school where they will fustrate you ,the environment and the numerous sadistic lecturers they have. This is not a private school where large first class are produce.Easy First class?...now that's a new one. |
Congrats to the First class graduates. |
Krasid: She looks cool.I wonder where terry g got his madness from.Looks can be deceiving,!!!!.. |
NIGERIALOLoCOM: A guy once tried to gain covert access to my one of my bros' files by pretentiously asking to copy a sizable file from his laptop via a usb flash drive. My bros, who was browsing the net when his guy requested the file from him was wise enough to disconnect his internet connection while copying the file, immediately his guy left him.Nice Story. |
As if Ebola virus is not enough trouble. |
Finally, an Ebola-free topic. These little political dramas provides the much needed relief from Ebola or BH related news. Now @ topic. I think it's same old shit, just a different guy. Whether Aregbesola or Omisore, it doesn't change the fact that anybody who eventually wins the election will end up looting public funds. |
Mickey7: wetin dey do diz oneCongrats!!!. |
Nwa4Jesus: I will say that this ebola comes into Lagos on our own carelessness, ebola breakout since March in Libriea so how do Nigeria allow someone from their to come in all in d name of conference meeting without not screening him at d airport blc na oyibo man abii? Now see what he has caused us, fear of ebola here n there. Have we think how's our kids gonna do when d resume back to school by next month? We are too dull on dis virus biko Nijja. Lagos goverment are trying their best. God help usWe are well aware of that. Saying it over and over again will not change a thing. Instead of sitting on your hands and blaming the government for the same crime you are guilty of, why not be proactive?. What have you done to ensure that the spread of this virus is mitigated in your own capacity as an individual? |
Mickey7: why you wants to spoil my happinesses only God knowIf you want people to like your posts/comments, then post something sensible, contribute meaningfully to topics. I don't even know why you are clamouring for likes, can it be exchanged for money or do you derive some sort of personal gratification.Whichever is it, it has nothing to do with the topic being discussed. |
Abimloaded: Where are the Nigerian PHARMACY Graduates ?My thoughts exactly!!!..what of the Bio-chemists and Micro-Biologists, the lab scientists etc. Our education system train students to be job seekers. But come to think of it, enough finger-pointing and blame games. We ve had enough that will last us a life time. This issue of Ebola is a national concern meaning it affects all and sundry, therefore it calls for combined effort from everybody. We might not be lab scientists but there are little things we can do: #1. We can organize sensitization programs and campaigns in our local churches, mosques, communities, campuses etc and educate people on the dangers of the virus and safety measures to be taken to limit the spread of the virus. #2. Avoid use of public convienience. #3. Washing of hands thoroughly with soap at regular intervals.etc Pointing fingers will not solve our problem. Ebola virus is a reality and it is in Nigeria.Let's be PRACTICAL. |
Duly noted |
omenka: The Nigerian military is passing through her worst stage ever under their current commander, Jonathan Goodluck!!What has GED got to do with two military men fighting over a woman?..Aren't you tired of this blame game? |
doctokwus: This incident is reported to av happened sund and its now just appearing on nland,3 clear days after. So why didn't you post it earlier?...Mr. Critic. |
CoolKizzy: I will learn from this.Ok, you "will still" learn learn. When will that be?..Next year? |

He could not understand why he failed to establish connection with my bros' laptop from the nearby cybercafe via his usb flash drive, even when he could still see my bros happily browsing away on his laptop.
God will see us tru.God will judge us
