razorbuzor: You obviously don't know what you are saying, there is no fresh NIS recruitment going on now, i repeat don't mislead people so they don't fall into the hands of scammers. Whatever is ongoing now is a conclusion of the 2020 recruitment not a fresh recruitment. Those still being called for documentation are those with connection and for replacement, no fresh recruitment is ongoing. A fresh recruitment will be done in 2022 or 2023. 3 Likes 1 Share |

yetunsbay: There is no ongoing recruitment for NIS, don't mislead people with false information so they don't fall prey to scammers. The recruitment for 2020 was just concluded and cadets are undergoing training. Whenever they wish to recruit it will be published on newspapers and even on most job website. NIS Recruitment is usually done every 3 years, so they may recruit next year or in 2023. 1 Like 1 Share |

The lady is crazy, she should tie her fallopian tubes instead or remove her womb, afterall she is the one who suggested having one kid. What if they divorce along the line, and the man remarries, he will not be able to Father other kids. We should learn to tell ourselves the truth and be realistic. I see her as a selfish and proud person, they are not a good match. |

Anietimfon3: My friend better go and pray to God or hold your connect and stop arguing blindly. Do you think you have more information than the people doing the induction? Even someone else still confirmed people are still joining the induction even up till today and you are there arguing ignorantly. If you have not been accepted into the service and invited for documentation it doesn't mean other people have not been accepted. Connection dey pass connection 2 Likes |

Anietimfon3: Yes, even today. Nothing was suspended, it all depends on the level of your connection. |

Adez1: This question has been answered severally, there's no date or list for replacement/slot candidates. Anyone can be called at any time. Even today more persons for replacement/slot are still coming to join the induction. If you are there waiting for a list or a date, you are just wasting your time. If you have a connect continue to press your connect or you pray to your God. 2 Likes |

I will quickly make my contribution from the information I have acquired over time: 1. First there is nothing like a list being released whether for slot or replacement. The process is an online process, you log in and check your application page online. Those with connection might get calls to come for documentation, that i don't really know about. Just know nobody is releasing any list. 2. Many candidate under slot were already shortlisted and commenced documentation from the very first day the documentation started in Abuja. Both slot/connection and merit candidates did documentation at the same time in Abuja from the beginning. 3. Induction training for each state commenced last month. Since the beginning of the induction more candidates under slot too and replacement were further shortlisted and joined in the course of the induction training. I believe more will still come even untill training school, depending on the level of the connection you have. If you are expecting one big list to be published for slot or replacement, that will not happen. So if you have a connect you are hoping on or you have paid for either slot or replacement just continue to pray and push for your name to be shortlisted, but the chances keep decreasing by the day. Just get something doing just incase it doesn't work out for you. Also know fake appointment letter are all over the place and gullible people are easily victimize, be very wise. 4. Issue of Salary: from the information gotten from the last set who were recruited in 2018, they started receiving salary after their 3 months induction, they just entered training school when the salary arrears dropped in their account. Afterwards the salary started coming on a monthly basis. So it may probably be the same way for this new set of recruit. The amount stated on your appointment letter is your basic salary, although about 4k plus or minus will be added to it when you are being paid. Good luck to everyone 5 Likes |

princensa: You see Nigerians when something does not favour you, you discredit the process. If you were shortlisted you would not have said it was based on connection. Me personally do not have a single connection however I got the job for ASI. I also know many others like myself. I never wanted to pursue the job because I had the same mindset that you must know somebody to get a government job, but a friend encouraged me to try that i had nothing to loose and to the Glory of God i was shortlisted. So please stop all these criticism and pray for God to favour you that's all. If it's your time nothing can stop it. 8 Likes |

Joerhema: It wasn't fake, somebody who went yesterday said they were given the APL with 1.9m however the APL was retrieved from them today when they went back there for IPPIS. He said they were told it was a mistake and a new APL with 1.4 was issued to them. 1 Like |

For those asking about birth certificate, i did mine today using a sworn affidavit of age declaration and it was accepted. She didn't even mention birth certificate at all. probably she was in a good mood but my affidavit was accepted. |

opj21: If you were already making such, why did you apply then? There is a standard salary structure for civil service with just little variation with different state and government parastaltal, you could have checked that before applying. So many people apply for government jobs not just because of the money but because of job security and other benefits that comes with the job. |

Jacknn: For the name issue, you have to swear an affidavit for reconciliation of name, the guys typing it know how to go about it. I did the same because some of my document doesn't have my full names. Don't really know much about the waec age, but i think there should be an affidavit for that |

Emzenoz: Now when i said salary shouldn't be the focus, it had nothing to do with job satisfaction, i meant you should focus on getting the job first and then you can make your decision when you are now sure of the actual salary. Moreover that 96k you talked about, if you are working in a place like Lagos, then the person earning 70k here in Benin is equivalent to that person earning 96k in lagos considering the high cost of living. Again being a government job, it has it's own advantages and benefits which many private organization do not have to offer. However if you fill the pay is too small then you can let it go and allow other people who desperately need it to get the opportunity. you should have made your enquires before even applying 1 Like |
