When searching, look out for the following keywords - mint condition, 10/10, manufacturer refurbished, grade A or new if you can afford it.
There's a seller on eBay called yywirelesss who almost everyone on XDA has patronized. No issues with his devices.

Avoid AT&T unlocked. They're veery cheap but when it comes to updates... They don't deliver.
Updates is flashing another persons partition dump and looking for one is quite difficult.

Go for sprint unlocked for rooting/updates or T-mobile for updates (either via OTA or flashing manually).

Amount i got mine i think @ 110k (shipping n other surcharges included) for AT&T. Ordered it December 2019, got it during the partial lockdown last year.

Also I owned a refurbished G8 gotten from eBay, had no issues with it.
But from what I've heard, Aliexpress isn't where you'd want to get a refurbished unit unless it's from topco store.
Best option is eBay.

As for your previous post, there are lots of them but flagships of Samsung or iPhone 11 Pro Max (for the battery), Xiaomi Mi 10/10 Pro, Oppo Find X2 Pro, Sony xperia II 1 or 5, Huawei P40 (if you can do without GMS)...

Won't touch Oneplus 8 series cos some of their units (forgotten what batch it is) got green tint that can be gotten rid of if brightness is cranked up (easier way to get screen burn)
