The local market they targeting, being we Nigerians (minus me and some cultured ladies and gents here and off NL), I can boldly tell you that those I know who play games get a device with a snapdragon chip, from 660 up and I'm not talking about candy crush or word cookies, I'm talking about FPS and emulators (psp, GameCube and even Damon ) which this upcoming pouvoir 4 won't run properly, overclock the P22 and you'll succeed in frying the phone board.

Videography is another story. Tweak it from now till tomorrow, install apps, use editing tools and buy lens attachments you'll not get any good vid shots.

Shoots at 1080p but display is at 720p... What was the point? They could've just made it shoot at 720p to match the display instead of watching downscaled content.

But on a serious note, the fact that Tecno didn't issue a return of all camon 15 phones given that the spec sheet says everything about it was a complete lie goes to show some of us that most people in Nigeria would rather be cheated and pissed on.

Reading this got me cracking on some parts (potato phone can't handle potato settings) and some I can truly relate.
The day I got my RN 7, I felt on top of the world. No more crashes when running simple tasks, everything was smooth and no issues whatsoever. No more mooning over YT videos whenever I watch reviews of these devices. Xiaomi introduced me to a new world, showed me how technology and software development(s) are supposed to be compared to Transsion that had me stuck in the stone age.
Would've stuck with xiaomi but I couldn't get the upgrade I needed with the budget I had and I wasn't a fan of the SD 7xx series but I'll be back. After all, one never really forgets his first true love.

Depends on the DNS server you're using and the network strength of your location. If the latter is strong, it'll boost speeds somewhat.

Mediatek is already making it easier for them to join unless they go the sprint route and use fake 5G icons or they won't.

Only hope now is they distribute 5G to the community instead of only a select few locations.

Why will a user sell of their device within weeks or even a few months of getting it?
upgrade? that's not tenable, because if it's that good, there's no reason for upgrade within a short period.
financial reason? well may be.
try out another brand within a short period? that's a negative score/ point.

Some users change phones once a new one comes out, irrespective of if new one they getting is an upgrade or not provided the device is a solid one.

There are people out there who try out phones from other brands before they decide to settle for one. I know this cos I got a friend who used to change phones every 1-2 months before he finally settled for an iPhone 8+.

Besides there are sometimes cheaper, solid offerings every year (this year is the iqoo neo 3, iqoo z1 and others not listed under 400 dollars). This is enough to encourage people to sell their current device so they can get it. If they happy, they'd settle for it. If not, they keep flipping brands till they find "the one".

The phone's good but people sell theirs off either because they want to upgrade, try out another phone brand or possibly for financial reasons.
