All thanks to the new 5G Dimensity chips from MediaTek, which are very good.

It's not that, it's because most US foundries using American technology to make them chips are banned from supplying Huawei Kirin chips, hence why majority of their phones will be using mediatek chips.

It is because of the recent spike in complaints, that Tecno is releasing the Camon 16 Pro with a Helio P60 chipset. They have been using the outdated chipsets for more than 3 years.

Same chipset Henry007 called a "flagship processor".

They aren't doing great and they should know it. Every brand deserves criticism. Maximum consumer satisfaction is every brand's top priority.

If you are allowed to run an organisation, you seem like the type that would go to any length to protect the name of the brand, even if it's illegal. You wouldn't even try to fix your wrongs.

You don't want your brand tarnished, fine. Do the right thing.
As you can see, people here hardly criticize quality mobile brands (Xiaomi, Redmi, Samsung), excluding the biased transission marketers.

This is because they are really satisfying their consumers. Listening to the people. Here, in Africa, Transission gives us mediocre products for any price they feel like.

They can never do such in countries like India or Japan, where a lot of the citizens are tech-savvy.

Not how ethical businesses work. This is a clear case of bad business on Transission's side.
Using the people's unawareness to their advantage.

It is their right to complain, and it is Transission's duty to pay heed and work on themselves.

Should I want to get a feel of Oppo premium features, it'll be their flagship phones like the Find X2 pro, not this one. Only then would I feel slightly at ease.

Unfortunately it's too pricey for the mid-range segment, I mean there's devices with SD 855/855+ that's better in terms of price and performance like the realme X2 pro.

If you own a business and start misbehaving to the point of losing customers, will investors be calling on you or answering you?
Before we go the "Apple is a trillion dollar company so it won't affect them" or they could focus elsewhere and still make it, the consumers are the ones they make the products for, not for themselves. You know what happened with them deliberately slowing down older iPhones to force it's customers to upgrade eh... No one wants to be controlled and if this privacy ish gets out of hand, forget it they won't be at the top and that bad rep will stay with them.
And do remember the developed countries and Nigeria aren't the same, if they don't like what's being done they let them corporations know and take necessary actions.

Don't bother, they'll just factory reset your phone or flash it and say they changed the panel (depends on where you at). Options for you is to look for a lightweight browser, clear browser data and cache like a mad man or sell the phone and buy one that'll handle apps and tasks with ease.

At least most Apple users withdraw to Samsung or these days OnePlus, but mostly Samsung but you're right. It'll be hard for them to adapt to a change not part of their ecosystem and I don't blame them much for that.

Guess that explains why all ads I used to get in the past were x-rated stuff and fancy gadgets currently (no thanks to jumia and AliExpress) but still, you'd still be monitored by other tech companies via their apps and I review my activity and data to see if there's any anomaly whatsoever, only one is my YT watch history, there's no avoiding that.
