Because Sony has given up on the phone segment, it is too competitive and innovations is too fast because of the entrance of Chinese manufacturers. Infact Samsung Phone segment was operating at loss according to some report 2 years ago, they only compliment it because most phone parts are manufactured by samsung, so they makes money from that area. Apple only succeeded because of cult followers with unmached ecosystem, more so they have IOS segement only to themself.

Don't forget Sony locks down their phone to the point that unlocking bootloader and flashing any custom ROM without proper guidance will render the phone useless.

And they release their phones months after announcing it, when the competition already released something similar for lesser price

Android One is what made it possible for note 5 to have Android 10 months before other brands except Pixel and other Android One phones.

If note 7 isn't on Android One - which you refused to Google and be enlightened - it's only getting one OS upgrade even if they promise 3.

I had the note 5 and I knew the amount of noise users made on xclub when Pie was released on other Android One phones before they caved in and released a stable beta for most users months later. Some brands not on the program even released it before they did if I remember correctly...

And it'll probably cost $2000 for base variant because 5G, rare minerals and parts not of this world was used to make it

It's specifically made to be for gamers, not for fashionistas and slay queens. Gamers don't care much for design provided device isn't a slouch

That camera was placed at the center because of material integrity of the frame, infact that circular cut out was reinforced to avoid the repeat of one plus disaster.
Circular cut out always weaken the frame structure of phone casing, placing it where u suggested would have been structural disaster for that phone.

This is new, abi it's the new camera api at work....
Install it and use all features (portrait,videos,HDR pics) without tampering with settings. If it works fine, mess around with the settings, try again and tell us what happens

LG phones are basically thrown out of the spotlight, thanks to the negative hype/reviews that is usually made by mobile phone blog and a lot of tech youtubers. They treat LG's flagships like it's a mid-range phone. But in reality, they are on par with the competition.

Albeit, LG mobile need to step up its game cos its really lacking behind!
It has all it takes to outrun most of its competitors.

True that, they already improving with security updates, not sure about software, their advertising is wack, hidden features here and there and sometimes they give out incorrect information about their devices
