Yoast: For newbies, this season is buying season, not selling season. However, if you want to buy, it is safer to buy stocks whose price has been relatively stable in the past 2-3 months - a sign of price consolidation. It is best to avoid stocks that have recently rallied upwards because there is a high chance of significant price reversal at any point. But if you have bought, it is safer to hold because chances are that better selling opportunities will still come in the near future Lafarge has been consolidating forever. I eventually lost patience with it and sold off 99% of it. Please check its prospects |

2pm already and we have not seen a single transaction of 100k and above in sugar They should place it on technical suspension already. |

Mcy56: DANGSUGAR These insider guys, one can never know what they're up to most times..,..
From the look of activities.....on one hand, it seems someone or an entity is trying to board the bus cheaper, so they're trying all they could to depress the share price so as to enter cheaper, till they get their fill.......Or their clients mandate filled...... On the other hand: Do they know what we don't know yet? ... though the first is looking more like it.......lol. this is based on observation and not TA or SA.
With time, we will know what they're up to.....
** From 54, they've taken it up to 57.20 again.......
** UBA: 235M units done in transactions so far....... currently @16/16.05......16.30......16.50..... N4.3B staked here so far.....N4.7B..... Nbst..... How long before the technical suspension? Let them get the merger train on the move. |

crownprince2017: Guys meritrade are trying to scam me, I opened an account with them on Sunday then on monday I wanted to trade but I couldn't fund the account via my account through my dashboard, so I chatted them up and the agent sent me their company accounts to send money, after that she told me that I will see the money soon, after few hours I didn't see the money, I chatted them up again and the other agent said the money I paid is part of the requirements to get my account running then I asked again what is the time frame to get my account running she said 24 to 48hrs the time frame has elapsed no account. so I told them to refund my money to my which I Mailed them regarding that uptil now nothing. I chatted them not quite long the lady first deny the date I sent the money but I forwarded the receipt she now said she wanted to do follow up on my email regarding a refund, after wasting alot of time she said thanks for holding and nothing, after a while she said they are close for the day that till tomorrow again. My 100k is with them, they are not willing to refund the money, I already told them that am not more interested in their services again. Pls advice me. I use Meristem and I think they're okay. Send a mail to contact@meristemng.com, they will address your concerns and like someone has advised, use the Web portal instead of the app. |

PETERiCHY: You want to buy something that rise from #15 to #70 and its now on the descent I am not really bothered about market noise. I know that as long as the merger plan is in place, it'll still go up. I bought some at 64 but I'm just really catching some fun and trying to see if I can get it at a lower price. My only real challenge is that I am running out of funds. |

crownprince2017: The ogas in the house, pa Emma, mcy , current price et, al. What is your advice on oando, the noise is getting much on it ooo...pls help the newbies.. The ultimate decision is yours. The antecedents of Oando and what happened to people's portfolio in the past can only be likened to an investment horror movie. For me, I don't believe in the repentance of a poisonous snake but that's me. Take a decision, you'll either make an enormous gain or you'll learn a monumental lesson. Agbalowomeri: What about the probability of losing 50%? For Dangsugar to lose 50% from current price, it's either some crazy ratio for Dangfood is presented or Dangfood is listed at N32.... Both scenarios look unlikely. In the investment world, no one knows anything for sure. Investment is done based on which outcome is more probable. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Kreos44: 1:13pm On Sep 08, 2023 |
Offloaded Zenith bank and bought Dangsugar. The probability of at least 50% gain seems more sure in Dangsugar than in Zenith at current prices. Caveat to newbies: This is purely my own way of reasoning. I don't know what I'm doing. |

Either the company will be forced to up the buyout price or drop exit and continue to operate as listed company.

Meaning if you have 14 dangsugar, you'll get 1 dangote rice. So dangote rice will be now be exchanged for dangfood finally. We still need the ratio of dangrice to dangfood to know how profitable this will be. If its 1 for 1, then listing price must far above N100 but I think it'll be more like 1 dangrice to 10 dangfood and then listed at N100 |

This place is now operating like the market. When market close, comments close. Its not on Monday that you'll decide what you're to going to buy on Monday. For me, I've been eyeing Guiness at 60. I believe it can effortlessly deliver 20 percent at this point but then my strategy focuses more on compounding little gains over a period rather than 100 percent at once except for clear opportunities like Glaxo and Dangsugar trending now. |

Streetinvestor2: What is your opinion on the rights. Do we leave the rights for the chairman. Do fbn really need to raise more cash with the way they have managed the bank in the past.what happened to all the bad loan. Are we sure the new cash will not end up in another round of bad loans IMO, This rights is targeted to serve other purposes other than capital raising cos even at the worst times immediately after Bisi left, the bank didn't raise capital so why now? |
