SefunmiHookups: Stories, jare ! Most northerners as we all know mostly went to univer in the UK. I can list many politicians and non-politicians kids than I personally knew were my classmates. Mu'azu Aliyu, former Niger State governor's son (was governor then) , same with Nasir abdullahi Adamu (former nasarawa governor) and a host of others who were my friends. It's only of few that go to Saudi to school, and Cairo has a handful of northern kids. You didn't even mention China which has the largest amount of northern kids as students in Universities abroad. Turkey has them, Cyprus too. It's China in terms of highes admissions, and then Uk. So what excuse were you trying to make ? Let's just say they aren't that competitive or don't willingly participate in competition's and what not. I was actually comparing the no btw those that go to Western world and Asian universities |

Islam is clear about indecent dressing. Women should dress like Mary, the mother of Jesus. |

Crime › Between Abba Kyari And Buruji Kashamu On U.S Extradition by Kubernetes(op): 9:56am On Aug 05, 2021 |
I see so many southerners grumbling that the super cop should be arrested and taken to the United states even though, Nigeria is yet to conclude her own investigations, but they forgot that in 1998, Kashamu was arrested in the United Kingdom on drugs-related charges after trying to enter the country with $230,000 in cash.He was acquitted and released in 2003. British authorities refused a US extradition request on drugs charges, citing concerns about his identity, but we all knew why they refused.
And eventually when Kashamu came to Nigeria, the Nigerian authorities announced their intention to deport him to the US on multiple occasions, until Kashamu filed two appeals before the apex court praying it to avoid the request of the American government that he be extradited to USA to answer criminal charges against him in respect of an alleged heroine drug importation into the country. Despite moves by Olusegun Obasanjo to take him to united states on the reason that , drug barons will buy candidates, parties and eventually buy power to themselves, Kashamu still could not be extradited until his death. I don't expect Nigeria to extradite the super cop. The gvt here can exercise their own punishment on Kyari. Given out kyari is a slap on our sovereignty as a Nation. The supposed offense by Kyari and Hushp is between the duo and a Quatari billionaire and not with the US citizens.

mrvitalis: I wonder how this government thinks really ...a poor nation like Nigeria spending 12 billion dollars on a phantom project that won't break even for 100 years ....there are far more important was that would use that money that would have far more impact on the economy
$1billion $300 million each can reactivate warri ,port Harcourt and Calabar ports ...$100 to by boats to secure the sea routes
$4 billion invested in our transmission line would increase transmission capability from 5000mw to over 12000mw ... electricity supply would double ...I mean double because we have installed capacity of about 15,000mw
$5 billion grants to 10 top importers of goods we can easily produce here to start producing them in Nigeria ...or if we have struggling producers top 10 ...pick like 10 to 20 products
Like ceramics , glass , cloths , chocolates ,drugs and the likes ...this would create over 300,000 jobs directly and provide revenue of over 300 billion a year in taxes
This project would have far more reaching impact on our GDP than this phantom rail system that's nothing but a feel good project
Abuja kaduna rail would break even at the current profit rate in over 101 years
I'm waiting to see the figures for Lagos ibadan rail but my estimate suggest 160 years to break even that's if repairs are not made even Good observation. A nation With less than $40 billion external reserves to spend over $10 billion on rail project within a region is not wise when we have other critical income generating sectors like power, Ajaokuta steel, Modular refineries, commercial production of Cocoa, Cotton, G/but etc... The quantum of goods moving from calabar to phacourt to Lagos is not up to 0.0001% of goods moving from North to South and vice versa... |

But it was a corrupt and over inflated award by the PDP as a result of bribery. APC discovered sunrise coy is not capable etc. A reassessment was done to ascertain if really they were not capable and if really it was inflated. The allegations was found to be true, as such it was terminated. Sunrise went to international court and got the judgment. |

FBI’s evidence is based on forensic report not limited to phone chat/call records recovered through satellite Data collection, etc. you think they only came to ask hush puppy without veritable and corroborative evidence? Make abba Kyari go na, if e sure for am Even though FBI seems top notch in their investigation, sometimes, they are also being assisted by a leak in the gang. I don't know how FBI got the secret to arrest Alamaris on landing in Canada, but Hussp saga was a tip off by Caleb Alamari boys. Hushp wanted playing fast on Alamari when he heard Alamari was arrested. He took all the 100% proceeds instead of the agreed 30%. Alamaris boys had no option but to tip the FBI. |
