Cossybob: Damn nigga Shut the fvck up you "For God sake, Gumi only risked his life by offering to persuade the bandits to stop the crime... blah blah blah" can you listen to yourself [/i]
Now let me ask you Since Gumi has the courage to act as a mediator between bandits (who are heavily equipped with sophisticated arms and ammunitions) and the Federal government, why can't he also act as a mediator between the activists( who wants only but a referendum) and The FG Very simple. But I thought the activists are educated enough to know the simple process to go about a Referendum for secession as put forth in the United nations chatter. The activists should go to south Sudan and learn how it was done there. |

In as much as I also feel for the plight of the host communities. I will advice the fed govt to change the approach of the funds gvn to the Ndeltan states, because there seems to be massive embezzlement by the Governors (Ibori case is an example ). NNDC, Min of Niger Delta comm,13% derivation etc should have made that region a good place in terms of infrastructure but nay, the opposite is the case. Verily, the Governors in N/Delta sees 13% derivation as free money which is very bad. The developmental state in that region is far below what has been given to them.
So far the Oil-producing states have received over N12 trillion. |

For God sake, Gumi only risked his life by offering to persuade the bandits to stop the crime. Even the Katsina and the Zamfara state Govs went to see the bandits to advocate for peace. Look, was it not dialogue that brought peace in the N/delta? lots of you guys have mistakenly believed that Gumi is not sincere. Have you guys forgotten Gumi stance by opposing GMB to contest in 2015? At no time did Gumi go to the bandits without a gvt person etc. Gumi most times uses the state security apparatus to get the contacts of the bandits. I advice we always look at issues objectively. We should not allow the junk and the social media news becloud our reasoning. Hope this helps. |

obynzo: Read the below link to cure yourself of ignorance. Gowon didn't build all the refineries if there is anyone to take credit for building all the refineries it is Obasanjo(it was in his military regime that Kaduna was built and the work for Warri refinery and the new PH refinery started. Then the commissioner for Petrolueum was Col. Mohamadu Buhari);
https://www.premiumtimesng.com/opinion/451353-the-port-harcourt-refinery-scandal-by-eric-teniola.html
The old PH refinery was commissioned in 1965 by Tafawa Balewa it was built by the Old Eastern Nigeria regional government and was managed by Shell. Please easy with the lies oooooo. Your statement that made me respond initially was that the refineries were built in the late 70s.I gave you that article to see for yourself but its like you did not read it. Kaduna refinery was built completed in 1980 Nigeria's first oil refinery, at Alesa Eleme near Port Harcourt, began operations in late 1965 with a capacity of 38,000 barrels per day, enough to meet domestic requirements at the time. Tell me which money was used to build it. The New Port Harcourt Refinery Project was approved and awarded early in 1985. The refinery was completed and commissioned by NNPC in 1989 at design capacity. Warrior was built is the late 70s which I agree with you. But in all these refineries, the oil prospectation, exploration etc started much more earlier from the savings made from revenues Nigeria's cash crops jointly with the multi nationals. Again, who made the famous statement "Money is not our problem, but how to spend it" ? And was it because of the oil boom? |
Politics › Re: Passed PIB Satanic, Unjust, Embarrassing - Edwin Clark by Kubernetes: 9:09am On Jul 06, 2021 |
obynzo: That is a big fat lie. Let me lecture you. The first refinery that was built was the old PH refinery and it was revenue from the first sale of crude oil from oloibiri well(If you must know the old PH refinery was built by the old Eastern Nigeria government along with Afam 1 power station and also Nkalagu cement factory and Transamadi Industrial layout as part of their regional development plan. The three refineries came later when oil revenues were booming in the 70s. Please let us stop spreading lies in this forum. How old are you? Did u say the 3 refineries came later in the 70s? That's not true.Read the below to know the details of the refineries https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/04/my-govt-built-three-refineries-gowon/If you know the meaning of PSC agreement btw the govt and the explorating coys, you should know how the proceeds for the evolution of these refineries came to be. |

obynzo: Oga prospect of crude oil in the 50s was done by shell and the likes that was why oil was discovered in Oloibiri. please it is outright falsehood and lies to say it was cotton and groundnut of the north that funded oil exploration. There was a petroleum department in the ministry of solid minerals in the 50s and they only gave permits to oil companies to prospect for oil at their own expense not under colonial goverment funding. These lies have to stop have the n9rth forgotten that the highest revenue earner was coal from Enugu after which it was Agriculture so how did groundnut and cotton fund oil exploration? I mean, Nigeria's revenue back then came from the cash cow of the Nigerian economy which were cocoa, Gnut, cotton, rubber etc. The revenue was used to develop the various sectors of the upstream and downstream infrastructure. Critical amongst them is the 3 refineries. |

SegFault: Infinite regression is a challenge against the rule that "every entity that exists was created" but theologists seeing that this will lead to infinite regression simply said that there is something that created all things but wasn't created. This doesn't make any sense. The reason why infinite regression is and was not considered is because it isn't logical but at the same time an infinite entity with no creator or beginning makes no sense at all it is an exception to the primary rule and if that rule has an exception there must be a primary reason within that entity that excepts the rule to prove its exception. Don't even use that argument it's flawed you'll just go round I'm circles. This forum seems too low to discuss this topic, I shall send u a zoom user I. D someday so we trash it out. |
Christianity Etc › Re: My Confusion About God And The Scriptures. by Kubernetes: 3:43pm On Jul 01, 2021 |
The Universe is not an accident else it won't be fined tuned the way we see it. "Every being which begins has a cause for its beginning. The world is a being which begins an therefore, it possesses a cause for its beginning" Above was used by Islamic mediaeval philosophers to tackle the scientific world and up till now this concept is yet to be defeated. Infact the concept of "infinite regression " is enough to challenge atheists that there is only one supreme being. If the message about the oneness of Allah did not reach a society, Allah says he knows best how to deal with the situation.
Guys, Religion is a belief. And this simply means the proof is spiritual. I am Muslim and I believe Allah exist. Period.
In my Quran,it challenged Mankind on Big bang, orbital mechanics, black hole, inter stellar travel, Universe origin, Matter, Quantum physics, Time dilation, relativity, Light travel, space time enigma etc. These enigmas which science is still battling today can be found in the various verses in the Quran.These idea of non deterministic and probabilistic nature of life as a limitation in reality as put forth by Mack plank, Heisenberg, Schroedinger and Einstein is a proof.
The universe which was created by Allah has no obligation to make sure we feel comfortable about the true nature of reality in the present physical dimension. And that's why he talked about other creations which is from a weightless form like light and flame(Jinns and Angels) |
