HISSCRIBE1995:
You are wrong .
Masturbation contributes to the retrogression of the one who engages in it whether he is lazy,
or blames any one or not .

Yes if he is lazy that's a contributing factor but you can't take away the spiritual effect of masturbation

Not just email. They still need to obtain official transcript from the schools and the school will still charge money for that. Sometime, they have to physically obtain these transcripts. Pay transportation to any part of the country where the school is domiciled
You are talking trash.

Cuteandkind:
Greetings My Good People of Nairaland.

Please I need suggestions on an offer I have.

I am a Registered Nurse, hoping to relocate to UK. I have passed through all the steps and currently preparing to write my OSCE in the UK. I had to sponsor myself to UK for my OSCE exams.

So recently I got job offers from 2 NHS Trusts in UK after passing their job interviews. They are willing to give me COS for my Skilled Worker Visa Processing, but none is willing to make any financial commitment for my relocation.

THEY MADE IT CLEAR THEY DO NOT OFFER ANY RELOCATION PACKAGE.

This means I have to;

Pay the Skilled Worker Visa Fees myself
Pay NHS Surcharge myself
Pay for flight
Pay for my TB tests myself
And even cater for my accomodation on arrival.

The cost runs into millions of naira, which I do not have.

My questions;

1. Does anyone thing the offer is worth it, and should I accept it considering how difficult it is getting NHS offers now?

2. If I decide to go through Health and Care Worker Visa Route, the visa processing fees will be cheaper than Skilled Worker, but is it advisable?

3. Is it advisable to take a loan and invest in the relocation plans, since I have an offer already?

Every suggested will be appreciated.
How did this eventually pan out?

If to work as doctor and nurse abroad dey hungry u, Go sch dere and remain dere. U can't b getting cheap medical certification frm a country u re not willing to serve. They should make it 10 years sef.

Many are japaing because they want to be called foreign based because they are feeling inferior to those who left—- so it is a welcome development by the government- even 2 years too small if na me dey make that decision - na 5 years before they can practice abroad- at least gain experience and give back to Nigeria that provided you cheap education

To qualify as a Nurse in the USA the debt you will rack up is up to $50,000 student loans but in Nigeria you owe nothing- yet u cant give anything back ? thats very selfish

Na because them no dey pay tax for Nigeria na him make body dey catch them- In some countries IF you live abroad and you want to buy properties you pay extra taxes

Even as an American citizen wether naturalized or born in the USA if you make up to $100,000 a year in any country you live in, you must pay taxes to the American government or the IRS will come after you for tax evasion. Its the duty of every citizen wherever you are to pay taxes to the government not just to go online and start bashing Nigeria 🇳🇬

Nigeria need to tax those overseas even if na 1% of our earnings - yes make us pay taxes - let us vote too and make us able to run for office too easily

thats how we can build our revenue base and develop Nigeria - imagine how much taxes diasporans will remit to Nigeria in a year - even if it is 1% tax of our annual earnings
Keep crying, your tears are sweet

It is more like the country keeps training nurses at cheaper costs only for our nurses to be used for another country while our health system is left comatose.
250k per year is cheap?
For private universities, it's 1million per year. You must be sick

I have never and may never employ a male nurse. Don't ask me why cos I don't think I even know.
All I know is females are more favored than males in the nursing profession.

Go for MLS bro, the pay is higher and if you know your way there are plenty opportunities career wise.
Thank God I never saw this stupid advice. Life wrecking advice from egoistic physicians. God abeg

Maybe private universities sha o, but no public school will pick you for Medicine with a CGPA of less than 3.5!!!

Dear Op
I might be forced to say “Nursing Is overrated in Nigeria”
I have a friend that studied nursing in one of the prestigious Fed uni in Nigeria, graduated with a 2.1

Next month will make it a year she graduated and she is still looking for a place that can accept her for her mandatory 1 year internship.
She's not serious with her life.

EducationRe: IELTS: Share Your Experience, Ask Your Questions, Tell Us Your Score If You Can. by kumbhuru:
My result is out, and I achieved an overall band score of 7.5. Although I could have done better if I hadn't faced distractions towards the exam, this score is sufficient for my needs.

I started my preparation in August by reading everything from page 1 to the end of this group to familiarize myself with the recommended materials. I also read the testimonies of others on Nairaland by searching different threads.

For writing, start with everything on www.ieltsliz.com. Additionally, get the premium book from IELTS Buddy, which is available online for free. Practice with those resources and then move on to the past questions from Cambridge. If you don't have anyone to review your essays, use ChatGPT to mark, score, and correct your work. You can Google how to use ChatGPT for IELTS Writing.

For speaking and listening, you only need the Cambridge materials. Google or find YouTube videos with the speaking/listening audio books and practice with them. Record yourself while speaking and make corrections if you don't have a friend to practice with. Get accustomed to various accents by watching podcasts, although I didn't do this due to time constraints. Those used to watching foreign films typically won't have issues with understanding the listening section. Listening requires attention and presence of mind, so if you struggle with concentration, work on it. Constant practice will help. Speaking and listening should be bonuses; no one should fail these sections, as they help boost your overall band score.

Reading seems like a hard nut to crack due to time constraints. Practice with Cambridge materials. There are books on strategies for various question types available online; get one and stick to it. Practice by question type and master or create strategies for yourself. You don't need to time yourself while learning strategies; only start timing once you are familiar with all question types and strategies involved.

Visit these YouTube channels and immerse yourself in their content: FastTrack IELTS, IELTS Jack, E2 Preparation, and IELTS Liz.

In short, there are no shortcuts; you have to put in the work. It's better to use the money you would spend on tutorials to buy data and immerse yourself in YouTube. Many of these tutorial providers are simply looking to make money and have never taken the IELTS themselves, except for the trusted ones you may know.

IELTS is all about strategy and formula. Learn these, and you will be surprised at how well you can do.

Finally, if your English is weak in terms of spelling, grammar, and basic language skills, start there. Someone with poor spelling will struggle with listening and writing. Someone with poor lexis, structure, and basic English skills will find it challenging. It's not a bad idea to brush up on primary and secondary school materials before attempting the IELTS if you fall into this category. Wishing you success.

I got a band 5.5 in my reading I want a remark or should I just write another one
Don't bother remarking.
Practice well and retake. Check resources online and practice with cambridge materials. Capitalize all your answers
Remarking only works for writing and speaking as they're subjective

Boss help me on this please.

Good morning my people. My offer letter and consent letters have finally arrived and I have signed and returned it. The deal is wonderful but I have some questions and something's not clear to me.

2 satisfactory references confirming your employment history over a 3-year period to present date.

I have only worked for less than 3years because I got my license in June 2021, how do I go about the 3years reference letter?

•Occupational Health clearance: What do they mean by this?

•Verification of identity: Can I use my NIN for this?

•Satisfactory Self Declaration Form: I don't understand this too

Right to Work in the UK: What do they mean by right to work in UK?

Lastly, if my COS comes out, can my husband apply immediately as my dependant? What can it cost him to apply for dependant Visa? We intend traveling together. Please help a sister.
Congratulations, how did you eventually go about this?
