OP do a careful analysis of your strength and weakness, what motivates you. You need to do what makes you happy and also gives you your daily bread, that way you can be able to withstand the difficult days. Having said I will drop my little ideas here, Hope you will find it useful:
Start a mini Factory:
1. Chalk production and refill ink production, both will cost you less than 100k for the local machine and less than 200k if you are going for the foreign ones.
2. Nylon( Santana) production, the machine is BTW 35-70k for manual and 150 -350k for automatic.
3. Sub distributor of toiletries ( you can buy d material n since the machines are above your budget for now) It will b produced n packaged with your branded coy name ( this will cost you from 200k-300k depending on volume n target market n your choice of toiletries ur going into.
4. Start a Telecom Business. Recharge card printing and sell to dealers( Ensure you buy Pin from genuine and registered dealers alone,The dealer must send the IT staff to install n configure d necessary softwares before you make payment.) My intentions has never been to put fear in any trader or investor but I get pissed off when people make forex seem like it is a very easy or seaemless venture, hence my critism.

I have had the opportunity of trading with great forex traders who have made millions in the market but just one or two insignificant errors in the game(even though they are highly experienced) had sent them into major debts, health issues and other ill related stuff. I too with have lost over 7 million naira when the naira was N160 to a dollar. I had had unbearable experiences, I have been arrested for trading for people and blowing the account severally even after making alot of profit. Investors dont smile when it comes to money matter at all. I have learnt hard.

But you see,when you talk to forex traders, they feel deny some truths about the game which am going to reveal here. I dont know if this post will be enough to high light all but lets start from somewhere.

For the records, I use Alpari as my platform.


POINT 1.
To be a successful forex trader, you must trade forex as a part time business and not as a full time business. Reason being that the emotions involved in the game when you see your account in high deficit can be very worrisome. Worrisome in the sense that you tell yourself its either I just cut my loss @ 200 usd deficit than be hope the market trend will revert. In hoping it will revert so you can clear out your deficit, your loss or debt may get to 350 usd. Meanwhile your account is a 2,000usd account. One mind tells you...hmmm I would rather wait for 3days so that this my 350usd will clear out since the market is going against me because I cannot come and be explaining to investors wey no get joy.
Another thought will be that if you terminate your -350usd trade that has been in a selling position since last 3 days, you can enter a buy position which will begin to make some profit.
My people now if you minus 350usd from your capital of 2000usd, how much is remaining? 1,650usd. Problem no.1
The market news and current happening on the trading platform can sometimes be far apart. Far apart in the sense that US or Uk can release a news that forcast has told you will bite hard on the economy which may not reflect in the trading platform at all. Or may reflect hours later while you have quickly entered a position hoping the news will go in your direction. There are times it will really go in your direction and there are times it will not go. There are times also when such news will have no impact on the trading platform where as you have prepared your mind to use that news to rack in some bucks.

Remember our new trading balance is 1,650 usd. You closed that position that gave you -350usd because it has been selling USD/GBP in the last 3days. Now you have entered a new trade of buying which is now giving you some profit. You trade for maybe another 2 days and you recover like 200usd out of 350usd. So in a week, you have lost 350usd in a trade position of 3days and recovered 200usd in a trade position of 2days,making it 5days of trade,one week. Now from 2,000usd to 1,850usd capital.Thank God for the market that week. I hope i will totally recover that week and then make some extras the next week.
So you see that those idiots that tell you "make 40% returns a week bla bla bla,I will teach you how" are actually demonic and vampires in nature?


Take note-[/b]Loss is inevitable in forex trading. Its a must have losses. Sorry but that is the truth.The best we can do is to reduce or minimize it. And to reduce your loss or risk means to also reduce your profit. To increase your risk means to increase your risk.

Whats my point from Point 1?
a. If you seat in front of the pc from morning to night trading,chances are that you will cut alot of your trade at the slightest negative position. If you try to edge, it has an advantage and a disadvantage depending on the lot size you are trading with.
You will want to enter every trade that looks promising which will commit you and blunders may set in.
b. Making 10% a week is possible but can kill you fast. Since it a 50/50. Investors dont want to hear stories of "na im...na im.."


[b]POINT 2.
All the successful trader I have ever met and seen make little profits from forex trade and they are usually very very satisfied with it. But we Africans especially Nigerians want to get rich on time with forex. This makes you take stunts that will eventually also help you change your phone number because that stunt will purge you.
Aim at little profits if you must trade forex. Thats why i said in POINT 1 that you must trade forex as a part time business.
Forex is not the business you will use to buy a car or build a house this year pls! It doesn't work with forex. If you can settle this within you, it will change your game plan for life and also enhance your forex trading performance.

Forex trading sometimes doesn't follow any rule that you already know. That is why they will always tell you that past success strategies or market analysis doesnt guarantee the future. It can be very very stubborn and at the same time very loving. Its a 50/50 game.

POINT 3.
Small lot size and multiple pair trades.
Forex is not a respecter of Donald Trump or Theresa May, it respects nothing and nobody.
No matter how tempted you are to recover your losses or make profit, if you use a lot size more than your leverage,AREA F will be waiting for you if you are using investors money.
Forex na small gains o.

Also if you must trade 2 different pairs at the same time,biko for the sake of this post use very small lot sizes.
Note- Your emotions and skill will always betray you in forex trading. Even experience may not work at some time but a proven and tested strategy will do more for you.


POINT 4.
What strategy do you use.

I place just one trade or maximum two trades in a whole month. Thats my secret of being in the business for over one decade. I have two major businesses (Production and Consultancy). I only send my forex trades on monthly errands. Am so busy with production business that I sometime almost forget to place a trade in a month. Not like 95% of traders do by trading everyday.


When you talk about trading everyday depends on your personality....are you going to spend ur life on d PC or internet everyday? Will you marry online,have kids online and eat online?I know say na you wan trade pass but you can't be trading Monday to Sunday. You won't last that way oo!

I also have my tested strategy I use for such one or two trades in a month. Pls dont ask me for it.
If your strategy hasn't been tested to work for years even though not 100% accurate, then dont put all your hopes in one business alone pls which is forex.

I have studied some volatile pairs using 1hour,4hour,1 week and 1 month candle for like 3 years both with current platform happenings online and offline. I know what am talking about my brother.

I no longer enjoy trading for people. I stopped that some 6 years ago.I have had 90% successes in my forex trades.
I have traded an account below 2,000USD. My maximum traded accout was 15,000 USD.

Am not the "best" but am not small in fx trades.I didnt start it 7yrs ago so it will pay you to listen to me except you are very very stubborn....lol

You've traded for over a decade and you still can't keep you emotions in check? You only trade a pair in a month and you don't know what risk management and invalidation points are?? No stop losses?? (That apparently shows your trade level sir, no disrespects), You hold your trade for a month or thereabouts, sir, how many pips do you catch in that one month??! (Are you a swing trader or a position trader?)...


Sir it's not too late to learn the game the right way, apparently you're simply retail trading. One of the rules of the game is patience, that chart in front of you has all the information you need if only you can understand what it says. I don't have to be on my PC as a full time trader every hour of the day, I haven't even been on my PC for weeks now...all my analysis and trading, even meetings are done off my phone(this is 2019 sir). Do you know what sniper entries are and how to catch them....see sir where I'm coming from we don't talk much, if my team where in here rn all they'd say to you is;

DROP A CHART!



No one said forex is easy but I'll say it anywhere...it's simple!!!


Get with the right team and you'll get the good stuff!! I roll with the real Gs in this game, these are guys who literally are able to catch EVERY impulse and retracement in the market. They'd markup the future move of any pair for you so accurately. Sir abeg drop a chart, I'm tired of all this talks biko
