The way is to observe them, listen to them, watch them and love them. Do you really have to fight them? Resisting them only means negation to what 'is', negation is suffering and that's why you get drained of essential energy just because you 'don't' want to think your thoughts. Nonawareness is chance your mind is waiting for to take charge and control you, once you are awake there's no problem. Just be awake/aware, leave the thoughts be.

Thank God you understand. I want to choose what i think, I've been struggling. It's been really hard for me. As i was walking to church today, my mind kept telling me I'm a failure. Why would i want to think this normally?

In truth, you can only choose to be conscious of your thoughts...can one really choose what he thinks at all times? Even when in church I've had some of the darkest thoughts but I just smile at them lol cos I know that's not me, those are just the elements of my mind. And this truth becomes easily acceptable when you understand 'your mind' hasn't always been your responsibility, it was nurtured by too many circumstances, guardians, situations and the likes. Life is easy my dear, you suffer because you crave. In wanting not to think evil thoughts, you've initiated and began thinking about them....kinda twisted but simple, I know

We do have a choice on what hold sway but not on what holds(enters). Remember, of all that was created the serpent is the most cunning. The serpent here is simply the symbolism used to identify that which "creeps up on you" (manifestations of the mind), that's why humans blame every wrong doing easily of the devil ( Serpent-> Cunning-> Devious-> Devil )

We don't always have that choice to choose what holds in the mind, you just mentioned it's a city without walls and anyone can walk in anytime. The only choice is to either identify with your mental formations or not to identify with them.

Simple, youths aren't genuinely serving God because they don't know Him, they don't know their "Self". To know oneself is to know God and also we confuse the true meaning of the mysteries of the logias.

Please stop hoping, the secret to happiness is to desire, crave and/or want nothing. Enjoy this moment as it's what you have, be fully present in this moment. To hope is to 'exist' in an imaginary "time space" ( which isn't as yet real ) that drains you of essential energy needed to 'live' NOW as you keep postdating your happiness. So also is worrying about what's past (i.e existing in a memory time space) where you can't change nothing but still suffer for those things that can't be undone just like they're happening at the moment. We've been programmed to focus on wants all our lives, we want to grow, we want to eat, we want to become, we want to this we want to that...try this for a day or two and see what difference it can make in your daily living, replace the word 'want' with 'need' and you'll see how easy things could be. Instead of; I want a boyfriend ( not saying you want one lol, might need one tho ) say I need a boyfriend, I want to eat ( I need to eat), I want to be happy ( I need to be happy)....the scope of the want/need concept is to eliminate the craving mentality in us, we usually crave for things we don't need, focus your self on what's necessary and not what you crave (want).

Glad you found it so, try look up books that speaks on the workings of the mind. Our minds are terribly messed up from childhood, it's the programming we received just as our ancestors had received as moral tenets on living life and penal codes to keep us in check.

I'm a good person on the outside, i try to love my neighbor as myself. That's the person ppl see. But on my inside, i know I'm not a good person. Christ wouldn't think the way i think. I have some secrets i might take to my grave. I think some dark thoughts sometimes too. How do you show forth light from a dark mind. It's not about being beautiful on the outside alone, i wanna be beautiful inside out. I doubt if i will ever be though.


All i want in life is good health, a tranquil soul and a pure heart.

DO NOT JUDGE BECAUSE THE SAME MEASURE WITH WHICH YOU JUDGE SHALL BE USED AGAINST YOU! Indeed, Christ wouldn't think as such and we all have secrets that's definitely gone to the grave to await our arrival because we aren't ever saying them to nobody since we are NOT OBLIGED to ( could your thoughts be any darker than the ones that pop in my mind every now and then? ).

The only way to shine forth light in darkness it to be PROFOUNDLY aware of every bit of that darkness, hence, you'd be observing that 'dark mind'. So you should ask, who's observing who? The answer is very simple, it's the real you, your true self observing your egoic mind. You're beautiful in every wise my dear, quit attaching your 'Self' to the labelling(s)/id your ego gives you. The numerous voices, the chaos you hear in your head is just your mind messing with you. You're a divine being who carries same anointing ( Christ spirit/nature ) as Jesus, it's simple in reality but complex to explain because we all got bleeped the day we were born ( I was born in sin, and in sin did my mother conceived me ). It's really a long explanation but if you would think deeply (meditate) on these things, you'll UNDERSTAND.

Just breath sweetheart, you're very fine. It's a shame we were taught by teachers, pastors, parents, guardians who were all 'led' rather than guided. The bible isn't to be taken historically as every other esoteric writings but to greater extents allegorically. Sending some love and light to heal you dear, keep your head up and stop craving or wanting things as you'll never have the sense of fulfilment or having them even when they are all readily available to you. I think I'll like talking to you more, I can already feel your vibes from your words....we all need healing, don't let your mind suffer you anymore.

Have you heard of the Amish people in America? These people live a holy life which means to be separate from the secular world and focus on God. Google them, it's interesting. God told the Hebrews they were his people and were to be holy from the other tribes. Holy means to be "Separate".

How about you consider it this way;

Holiness->Righteousness->Obedience
Separate->Sanctified->Set apart


The Hebrews were set apart(sanctified) to be His holy (obedient) people.

The physical part of us that interacts with everyone on the outside, is just us wearing masks. Noone might actually get to know the real us until the day we die. Well, maybe except if ppl start learning how to read minds.

We are all fighting battles in our heads that nobody knows about and even if we talk to ppl about it, they might just give advice and leave, or even judge us in their own minds. They can't crawl into our head to help us. So, at the end of the day, it is up to us to choose to keep fighting those demons in our head or keep losing to them.

Nobody, i repeat, nobody can help us fight the internal battles in our minds. Well, except God who isn't a physical human being. We're all alone.

Don't fight your demons dear, just shine the light of conciousness ( compassionate love as preached by the Christ Jesus ) on them.

Implementation isn't the issue here, prices of commodities and average cost of living would be the indicator to know if wages went up or not. It's time we clamour for functioning national database and reference sites where the average Nigerian can look up the details of all these agreements, bills and whatnots so we all can understand the economics, arithmetic and grammars behind the given figures. The reason it's so convenient for politicians and public office holders to take money from national treasury is because The People can't follow up with whatever figures and statements they quote, if found out they can easily cushion the pockets of those in the know and get away with their schemes. Please it's not about voting A or B, it's more of us youth standing up, voicing out to show these old men and women it's enough. Nigeria is richer in human, natural and other resources for us to start celebrating such mediocrity as this. An average restaurant worker, bartender, cleaner or home assistant in sane climes earn as much as this working less than 12hrs. We can't continue to ignore the cancer that's eating away at our peace and sanity, we have all it takes to be in the league of developed nations if only we contemplate deeply. The question for you the A supporter, B supporter and others is, what's the missing piece in this puzzle of liberation.

With the numerous antics of the sitting government, I consider the forthcoming elections rigged! The CJN is in trial at a critical time like this, students are on strikes so they can't be reached by young and vibrant aspirants during campaigns, most of them would be broke by Election Day which would be a good avenue to entice them with 5k, almost everyone believes not in the credibility of Amina Zakari....the list seems endless really! Please vote wisely, if you can meditate every night or whenever it's convenient before the election on who the next leader should be please do with all your heart. Events following the elections as I see it isn't good at all and please let's send out positive thoughts and energy across the nation against heavy flooding. The spirit of the Great Divine guide us!

Consulate affairs is only one part of an embassy. If it is all about visa fees why does the US not charge visa fees to citizens of EU member states? Probably because they make a lot more money from trade deals between both nations. It costs any government more to deal with the liabilities that come with an illegal immigrant than the $160 visa fees. So they gain by earning visa fees from desperate west africans (Nigerians and Ghanians) and denying who they so wish to deny. I haven't witnessed any crave for US visas in east or southern africa the way I see in Nigeria and Ghana. Southern africans (residents of Lesotho, Namibia, Angola, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Swaziland and Botswana) prefer to go to South Africa to spend their money. Citizens of East african countries prefer to go to UAE, Thailand, Qatar, China, Vietnam... to spend their vacations.
