godsveryown: My friend has tried taking her own life since she graduated, after all d hard work and avoiding fun she ends up with a third class degree, she hasn't being able to tell her family her result because of the shame and reproach. With low self esteem, she is considering seeking admission to start over again or do a PGD. She despirately needs ur advise... Thats not the end of road,my wife finished with a 3rd class at UNAB abeokuta and she is working with her certficate now; 1.Let her know that the grace is surfficient for all of us. 2.She can go ahead with her PGD 3.If she is good and she is sure good let her apply for job and be prayerful about it,nothing is impossible. My story,i left school in 2004 with a 2nd lower 3.30 CGPA in business admin, from LASU but i did not left it there,i worked on my self and with prayers and the grace of God inclusive, I can tell you that today i am working with my 2nd employer in a big IT firms here in Lagos and to make it more simple for you to understand i only spent 6month at home after NYSC before resuming my first work. She can offer herself for work without pay in other to gain experience (Volunteer Services),its one of the thing i do before gainfully been employed, though most naija graduates hardly wants to do such. Best of luck |

iamNotAlone: I am beautiful, curvy and hairy. Chocolate skinned but it bothers me that I can't get and keep a man of my own. Yes, I have admirers and stalkers but they don't fit into my picture of an ideal man. The ideal men I have at my workplace, all they do is to admire and tell themselves " this bae make brain o". But none of them could approach me for a serious relationship because they often think I am taken.
Pls, my beloved #landers, how do I get them to toast me?. Its kind of frustrating when your are lonely, no passionate calls, no sweet talkings. And u feel u have all it takes but the men ain't just coming pls try and jokingly get their opinion concerning you,you will be amazed at their response. |
Crime › Re: My Experience With A Police Man Today by kunle75(m): 1:40pm On Mar 11, 2015 |
Kinkale: I've always heard of the craziness of the NPF but today i felt it also. Early this mawning, i was going to school, i school in port hacourt, at RIVCAS, so when i got to rumuola i entered a taxi going to rumuokuta. When i entered, there was a lil problem happening on the road but it was quelled speedily by the people there. So their agbero boss told the taxi driver to drive to the front. The driver entered his car, this time with me, a woman and two children who were lapping. As the driver started the car and started to drive a police man just came from no were and started flogging the driver with a hug stick. The driver stopped the car and was complaining, the police man was like 'eh, your talking' and immediately broke the stick on the drivers head. We in the taxi were trying to getout. Immediately the driver vex and was complaining that all his body is swelling. The police man was like 'your still talking, i go spray you oh', immediately as the children got out and the woman was about to step out the policeman brought out tear gas and started spraying inside the car, i jumped out with tears in my eyes while the driver was running around and the police threatening to shoot.
Is this how the NPF has turned out to be? The police man sef was badly dressed sef.. Sorry bro, but thats what we all get when we refuse to vote wisely. |

BraveAfrican: Its really amusing & fascinating that more than half of the most prominent APC members defected from the PDP because they were unable to secure their primary tickets on the later's platform. Anyone who is aggrieved or fails in the PDP simply jumps ship & starts chanting CHANGE. The part that baffles me the most is with the "change-motivated" electorates, no matter your political antecedents or history, provided you are now under the APC, you are "born again" & old things are passed away; even someone like our very own PATRICIA ETEH now chants "CHANGE". Are we truly that gullible as Nigerians You are right but you have forgot to mention FFK that he also jump ship to PDP na even fayose of ekiti state at a time jump self,no partiality ooooooo |

Politics › Re: Should Soldiers Be Deployed For The 2015 Elections? by kunle75(m): 1:12pm On Feb 20, 2015 |
jorlons: As a Honourable member of Nairaland house of parliament representing APC zones.
I've to say this decision ordinarily should be NO. As the primary functions of the NA does not include providing internal security during elections. Also recent involvements of the NA in partisan politics brings much fears to the heart of opposition parties as to how the army will conduct themselves @ each polling unit during the election.
At the same time the Police and other civil defence agencies are almost useless to the Nigerian society which leaves us with no other choice.
In light of these challenges, the assistance of the NA is required to fortify the security of the electorates. Afterall the Life of Nigerians is more important.
However, the number of military personnel deployed should be far lesser compared to other security agencies. The DHQ should be smart enough not to weaken our defence against BokoHaram. You have said it all.................my thought exactly |
