That's the point. When ppl ask for price quote from here, they start complaining that its too costly not realizing that they are comparing mostly salvage prices in Naija with clean title. But some ppl understand the difference and still opt for clean title anyway.

The short answer is NO!. It will even be tough (if not impossible) to get a 2000 for that price without anything wrong with it. If you want good thing, be ready to pay. Don't lose your money.

Sometimes you wonder with the barrage of VIN check requests. its almost as if people just wanna check for no reason so long as its free.  Least now the OP would hopefully know what the car is worth and not get ripped off.The thing that really gets to me is odometer rollback! with that cr.p,you cant tell when to carry out manufacturer's recommended service. all for a buck.BTW,where is my Z1 ATF?

Re-check the numbers, one of them is wrong

i think you are mixing things up and getting worked up over whats not necessary. A brake failure is DIFFERENT from a premature break wear.

If the brake mechanism (calipers, rotors, pistons, servos etc) is bad and cause it malfunction, its a different story. However, if a pad that suppose to last like 30,000 miles ended up lasting for only 20,000, that is also different.

There are brake warning lights that will let you know that your brake is wearing thin and YOU as a driver suppose to get it checked/replaced BEFORE it totally fail! If you don't, then its on you.

The machanism is fine, just replaced the pads. Will you ask for a recall of the car if the tires wears too quick? Or if the tires burst during driving like Ford was having in Explorers few years back. The last time i check you can get in an accident if your tires burst. 

You always separate the problem and know why it happened then you correct it.
