bigfrancis21: Wowww! Thanks so much.

@bold...I love that. So I may not really need to carry garri after all when I could easily make pounded yam instead.

The availability of okra is another nice one I like.

Yea bro...I'm a typical Nigerian. I feel I'll still need to eat our foods for a while while I get used to American foods.

I and Bode Plot are leaving on the same day. And we'll be meeting at the airport. #Nairaland things. cheesy

KunleBal is leaving 2 days earlier than I and Bode plot. smiley

And RickyRozay is already chilling himself off in cold and freezing minnesota. grin

Ms Nas: I've always told you, verify stuffs before you assume. I carried cash, but not up to 10,000USD and I wasn't required to declare it. My friend (we were on the same flight) carried 12,000USDnd she declared nada
Declare or not declare, travelling with 12K dollar is very risky, thank God he/she was not caught some other person might not be lucky like that shocked

If I'll be holding dollars when travelling. Please which is advisable, buy dollars here in Nigeria or withdraw with ATM cos the rate here is killing[/quote]Its advisable to travel with little cash cos you might want to buy something or pick a taxi when you get to your destination but as a first time traveller u can go with $500 or $1K, maximum is $10K for your PTA
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part5 by kunlebal(m): 7:27pm On Dec 18, 2013

@kizzykingz your transcript is lovely but but but why CC na, one thing you need to understand is this, VO's doesn't really have time for stories cos they got no time, your interview might not last 10min so u need to bring out good points at the right time, another flop is that you don't have home tie using your uncle living in TX n your school in TX will make VO to small a rat, that means you will be an immigrate. My advice: change your school to uni, change your sponsor to somebody that stays in naija as you home tie, don't look @ it that you have gone this far to start all over again, the Lord will be your strength.
@Walspring where r u @ I will be coming to command today Oº°˚˚°ºo kindly get back to me asap

imperiouxx: Science and technology will give him edge even if he doesn't work in related field. Moreover, they is Engineering department in every sector. But he has filled his work duties as market analyst and had shown that he's into business on the previous DS160.

So, he should stick with the business field and write that crazy GMAT to prove he's worthy of studying business.
cool, that is what i advice him too
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part5 by kunlebal(m): 3:34pm On Dec 09, 2013
imperiouxx: The B.Egnr would have been considered if he had shown the VO a good GMAT score.
oga imperiouxx what is the way forward now, do you think he should change course to science related or write GMAT and stick with MBA

domex007: Hello House, do VOs have a way of finding out the number of universities you applied to? Because I applied to just 1 and they gave me admission but I will tell them three.. Will they find out that its just 1 I applied to?
VO's no be witch bro, they dont have time like that to check. your interview might not last more than 10min. So relax, just make sure you mention the schools name properly and please dont mention schools in the same state oooooooooooooooooo wink

smoothkool: Hello house, i have an interview for mon 9th and i went online to print my ds 160 form which i have already filled but yet to print it out and now after supplying answers to the security questions is saying an error occur that it will be notified by the consulate office, i dont know what to do, i dont know if it wont be a problem if i fill another form because the ds number i used in scheduling the appointment will be different now or is possible i go only with the scheduling confirmation print out and ignore taking ds i60 and explain to d vo?
This is my advice, monday is close already so go to the embassy with the rest documents when they ask you for your DS 160 confirmation tell them the error am sure your case is not the first. Since they can verify it in there system that is if u have submitted Oº°˚˚°ºo they will allow u to enter.

I wish to thank the entire Nairaland USA Travel forum and all the Ogas here that have been altruistically assisting all the visa applicants that came here to make inquiries.
