Even if she file for him not possible within 6 months but marrying a citizen might be possible sha. Depending on the state he can get it between 6-8months.

I never said age is going to be a problem with admission but his age might be an issue during the visa interview process if he/she is going for undergraduate program. Which ever way, as long he/she can explain to the visa officer the reason why he/she is going for undergraduate at 32 years of age. He/she should be fine.

Nothing is impossible though. But the best age for undergraduate course is 25years or less. In between what has stopped you from getting your HND or even a DE to a university since 2009 when u have a good result?

If you really want to study in the US, my advise is find your way into the US with let's say B1/B2 visa, then you change your status to F1 when you get here. Goodluck

Hello House. Pliz am 32 years old with 2nd class upper and OND (upper credit). Though, i graduated in 2009. What is are the chances of getting student vise to study in any of the university in usa.

Visa issuance should not be your problem for now but how to get admission. Your age will not be a problem if your are going for masters programs. But what you have been doing since 2009-till date will play a big role on your interview day. If I may ask you did you write any standardize exams.

Don't bother to call WES because they wouldn't pick your calls, but you can email them for update. The most important thing is for you is to keep track of your UG school, because am sure WES will mail/email your UG school for confirmation between 1-2weeks time. It also depends on the method your UG school use for confirmation of transcripts. Mine was through email but some schools is via mail. So if it by mail pay/tell your school that you want to use courier services so that WES can receive it on time.

I think you are getting it wrong.
My transcripts have not been evaluated yet. Based on what
I was told, WES will send a mail to my UG institution to confirm
that the documents came from them. My UG school then replies them
by mail. WES will then do the evaluation.
When I say school, I don't mean the school I am applying to.

Oh got it now. Once WES contact your UG school for confirmation of your transcript, WES will email you that they have mail or email your UG school for confirmation. Also keep checking your profile with WES, you will see the update from your profile. My advice for you is that if you have someone that can help you to do follow up from your UG school that will really help you. Because your UG school might not reply WES on time and that will delay your evaluation.

My question to you is did you ask WES to send copy to your school if yes, your school should have WES copy by now. If no, you will need to ask WES to send copy to your school by making payment through WES website.

You can't make the payment in Nigeria but you can make the payment at Seme. If you have friends or families in US they should be able to assist you in making the payment from USA.

To qualify for the DHL Drop Box Visa Renewal Program, visa applicants must be applying to renew either a B1/B2, an F, an L, or an H visa. They must satisfy all of the following criteria for their visa class. If applying as a group or family, all members must fulfill each criteria to use the program.
For an F visa holder:

•The applicant is a Nigerian passport holder;
•The applicant’s last visa interview resulted in issuance of an F visa;
•The visa expired no more than one year prior to reissuance;
•The applicant is attending the same school the original visa was issued for;
•The applicant’s endorsed I-20 is submitted with the application;
•A current transcript is included with the application;
•The applicant was at least 14 years old at the time of the last issuance or will be under the age of 14 at the time of reissuance; and
•The applicant has never been arrested nor had an encounter with law enforcement, customs, or immigration officials in the United States.

She can renew her visa in any country apart from USA. If she doesn't mind can she travel to Nigeria and do drop box in Lagos/Abuja. or she can go to neighboring countries like Mexico, Canada or United Kingdom.

Note:
Make sure she inform her school international advisor before embarking on the journey oooooooooooo. Because her school will need to sign her I20 form and give her studentship letter confirming that she is a student of the school, also, tell her to request for her transcript before traveling. Transcript is part of the requirements for F1 visa renewal.
Wish her all the best not (goodluck) in advance.

It's no stupid question at all.... Actually you pay per credit per semester. I.e. you are been charged per credit, credit in the US means unit. For example in naija we have 4units course, 3units course etc, here its called 4 credits, 3credits etc.

If your school charges let say $10 per credit for international students, then you will be paying $30 for a 3credit (3units as per naija) course. But been an International Student, you are not allowed to enrol in less than 12 credits per semester, you are only allowed to take more which is advisable so that you can finish ur study on time.

Note: Not all courses are 3credits oooo... We have 2 credits course and more. It all depends on your school and the discipline u r going for. I hope this helps.

Peeps, I would like to know which is better between Discover and CapitalOne credit cards for a student. I must say I know next to nothing about this and I am only just beginning to research both. All suggestions will be appreciated- including the ones better than above-mentioned... I don't know much about discovery credit card, but I using Capital one presently. Capital one as two credit cards, master and visa. I will advice you to go for the master card with cheap interest rate(after one year of no interest) and good credit points.
If you have a good credit score, lot of credit card companies will send you pre-approved card but please make sure the read the terms and conditions before going into the agreement bro grin

. Also there is no point in having more than two credit card, just keep that in mind wink

2 Why graphic when you have HND in Accounting and work experience in Computer sales
