ighoosagie: it means u can only use dat network provider sim within d contract period and u also pay a little more Dan d regular monthly rate. Like if its normally $50 a month u will pay btw $60-70 every month throughout d contract period.
Note: as a fresh bobo in d state , dis can also build ur credit history. Mk sure u pay ur dues bills in time or on time,

CFCfan: As an AT&T user, one has to sign a 2 year contract. The plan could be a family or individual plan.

Walspring: Nope you wont pay another sevis cos the sevis fee is valid for 1 year..

What you can do is for you to move the sevis payment to another sevis ID and it has basic rules and how you will do it yourself

The basic rules for moving a SEVIS I-901 fee payment between SEVIS ID numbers are:

The SEVIS I-901 fee must be moved between SEVIS ID numbers for the same individual

An additional SEVIS I-901 fee is not required (For more information, see the section, Do I pay the fee?)

The SEVIS I-901 fee amount for the new school or program must be less than or equal to the SEVIS I-901 fee already paid (see the Fee Amount Chart)

Only the student or exchange visitor may request the move

Tips on how you can

If you want to transfer the SEVIS I-901 fee payment information from one SEVIS ID number to another, you need to mail or e-mail SEVP. SEVP will consider your request and determine if the fee can be transferred. See the section on the basic rules for transferring fees.

Put Fee Transfer in the subject line of your request. Give us your name, date of birth, the SEVIS ID number that you originally paid on and the SEVIS ID number you want to transfer the payment to, as well as a current, valid address Explain why the fee needs to be transferred. It will help speed your request if you include a copy of your receipt number. Include information on how to contact you if there are any questions.

SEVP will review your request and determine if the fee can be transferred. If your request is approved, you will receive an email or letter indicating that you can now print your updated I-901 payment confirmation at www.fmjfee.com reflecting the SEVIS ID from your new Form I-20 or DS-2019.

lisadem: Don't mind the gurus jawe. perhaps they are on strike like ASUU . First, your visiting visa expiring very soon has nothing to do with your application for admission to school in the US. However, your B1/B2 visa might influence you getting a F1 visa if you didn't violate any rules during your visit to the US.
That said, the road to Obamaland isn't a smooth one. uneasy lies the head that wears the crown they say. In short, you start by doing independent research on the school that suites your needs (come up with schs yourself and inquire from gurus here if they are OK) , write standardized tests if required (that might involve you having a tour to neighboring countries or if desired, go to India ), send application to sch by turning in the requisite docs, get admission and proceed to the embassy to claim your visa. Each step still needs to be elaborated but i guess that's the overview. I will advise you take it one step @ a time. The gurus will add to this when they call off the strike

I was denied the student visa in July 2012. I feel greatly that the reason cos i did told the VO thati have a sister in the states who is a citizen as filled on my ds160. Hence i had no choice than to say yes when he asked.

Again, i have another interview on Dec 6th, 2013. This time around i completed a new ds160 indicating that i have no relative in the US. And if asked, i intend answering that i used to have i has since left for Nigeria in Dec 2012 to a pick up an appointment.

Guys what are your stakes on this?
