If you religiously maintain your car as you claimed..

I can assure you your car would drive better when back from that journey..

That engine would breath better, and would be willing to do more the next morning..

goodluck to you!

3-flats of Two bedroom flat each... would sit comfortably on a 50ft by 100ft with a parking space

nice idea! its like hotcake now... lol

@Abdulwastecx ... do you have a thread/project that matches this description on-going?[/size]

Can you please tell us what will be the size of each 2 bedroom flat, assuming they are detachable.

Thanks
Not detachable, surprised the rooms came out with 11 X 13 at least, living rooms 14 X 16 .. big kitchen, dual toilets,

suffice it to say, dinning rooms were absent to maximize other space for preference according to demand- (commercial) ... also the middle flat would have just one window ... but in all, its cost saving and met the very basic need...

Young man! Every profession has its ethics. Pay a professional Q.S to get a precise quotation..... and not all this silly assumptions am seeing here.

A Q.S is in your neighborhood.. ask him!!

That all those surveyors OLD MEN pay are the only professionals?

And also, Seun has banned all the Professional surveyors that dare give out free services ? or better still SUCH PERSONS DONT EXIST?

We've read a lot about the "gold-digging" and "materialistic" tendencies of our ladies nowadays especially from broke guys. grin grin

So here is a little test for your girlfriends:

- Get the snack/food below ready in a fancy plate.

- Cover it up to hide content

- Act like you specially prepared the 'meal' for her (or both of you) to enjoy grin

- Allow her open the cover

- Watch her reaction (first 3 seconds matters)

- The first reaction is usually the NATURAL (and often inhibited) personal character.
I think that's quite a vague yard stick ...

It would be adequate to note that what you displayed there is not cheap, many a time its rare, a pretender lady would pass that test very well.

If you feel you can be happy living with a lady, and in your heart she gets up 45-60 % in the rating... cast into the future if u can love her still... PRAY ABOUT IT. TAKE YOUR DECISION AND PUT THE REST FOR GOD HAND...

that's my N300 take I just saved for buying petrol ... grin grin

however, the picture says alot about Nigeria and her politicians... whatever party the politicians are... they are all the same... not really a bad thing though, but making the electorates to fumble in their quest and desperation to get power solely for their selfish interest is the issue..

Hello everyone, merry Xmas in advance. Please I ve this problem with my w203. Wenever I apply break at 100-120km/hr speed I notice this strong vibration on the steering wheel. And I ve changed the break disc but still persist. Some dealers and mechanic have said so many thing like its the break pad, lower arms calippers and some ll say it's not. Infact, instead of helping, they ended up confusing me. Please anyone with a soln to the culprit? I base in abuja and I intend going to mechanic village in Abuja again tomorow agianst my Xmas traveling. Please treat as urgent cos I need to travel with the car. Thanks.
How long has this vibration been?

Must you travel with the car?

I dont encourage rushing to mechanics to fix supposedly critical faults as brakes and vibration and head on the road....

if you have traveled with the car b4 whilst it was vibrating and you are absolutely sure you must travel with it... then go ahead and maintain less than the speed you say it vibrates....

you also seem not to have a reliable mechanic... dont patronize road sides... make your peak 110km/h, you would be amazed you would arrive at your destination almost at same duration.....

I am sure your car would do well, when u get back- fix it .... its a benz after all grin!

headTO:
Please gurus in the house, my car A/C is having serious issues. When the follow-come compressor went bad, I changed it with brand new one I bought from Zuba market. It lasted only one month and pack up. Again I was advised to go for a tokunbo which I did and that only worked for one day. Now pple are suggesting I go for the manual compressor which to them is stronger and easy to maintain. Now my question is

Should I go for the manual conversion?

Are there side effects?

If yes then how can I make my A/C running like every other good A/C

please I URGENTLY need ur response
lol, oyinbo wey make motor put compressor didnt do that conversion, and yet you are considering that...

where is the compressor that came with that car? what was the problem? leakage or what ?

the compressor that came with that ride cannot cope with excessive refrigerant, many technicians fail to note these... the max capacity for that compressor should not exceed 800g. ................................. how many of them have guages and can read them accordingly?

when you over-fill, even if its a new compressor, it would pack up.

if u are lucky enough to get a Toks, replace the drier , and maybe luckier to get a vacuum to take all air and moisture off the passage, and make sure there is not leak... fill refrigerant with approx 750g or 800g .......no more, no less..... it should work and last!

goodluck to you
Car Talk › Re: Is It Safe To Convert D Injector Of A Car To Carburetor? by kuntash: 12:27pm On Dec 22, 2014
I have done that on a 1991 camry- with 3S-FE engine long ago. reason was incompetent mechanic, injector was a nightmare to many mechanics and electricians as at that time. However, I reverted to the injector , after reading many advantages of the injector over carburetor.

the experience was less power on the carburetor , I tweaked the carburetor as much as I could to manually balance air and fuel mixture, but could not surpass the economy of a good working injector..

the injector had more torque, when mounted, response time was better, and the fuel economy was excellent whenever the air-mass meter was at its optimal.. (I tweaked that too..lol)

Kuntash if you drive a Benz and have been to trinity you would know what I'm saying. Just the way iyana Itire is the VW go to spare part market.

The OEM side mirrors glass from my car I was told 5k for one in ladipo in trinity the pair goes for 5k. The bumper tow clip for my car in ladipo I got it 5k Infact the seller adviced not to buy it cos it could be easily stolen in Trinity I got it 2k. My mechanic got the folding mirror switch for his W211 for 3k in Trinity his parts guy didn't see it ladipo and the one he saw was for a right handed car and it didn't work and they called it 10k. I could go on and on. If you know your way around Trinity you would be shocked at amazing prices. The used OEM headlight for my car with charger (ballast) in ladipo they said 55k it's 40k in Trinity. A dedicated market would have things cheaper cos of the availability and competition.

Go to Ladipo and price to the complete Engine and gear for a W203 you would be shocked at the price in trinity.

P.S I speak fluent Igbo and drive a great bargain.
I like buying from importers , or maybe because I know few of the sellers, nonetheless, the saying of "not standing @ a particular place to watch a masquerade" would come in here.... I would plan to Visit the Trinity with a friend that sells Benz parts

lately, I am really thinking of getting these parts from abroad, you would be amazed at the landing cost of some sensitive spares that outrageously are off the roof in terms of price.

3months ago , I asked my BMW mechanic to source for the front struts of a 3-series - all wheel drive, brother, the final price was like 45k tokumbo, I wasn't surprised because I envisaged it.... so I did a comparison with ordering online , a brand new oem landed here at less than 55k, for me the decision was to opt for the new one... and avoid the risk of toks etc...
