They should just close their embassy since they no longer grant Visa... 57000 for visa fee.. Thats quite high.... And finally the desperation of Nigerian wanted to leave the country also part of it.... It's only in Nigeria u see multitude of applicants.a friend who base in Japan was surprised to see less than 30 applicants at the America embassy in Japan when he went for visa interview and in less than 47 seconds he got his 2yrs visa.and when I asked him why n he told me it bcoz the citizens are comfortable so what are they going to do in the US.. So lastly everything still go back to our government.. If we are comfortable at home why traveling out of the country

Pls u can do it urself.. I did it myself.. U fill the form online in English version and print out.. Then attach other supporting document and go and summit

U can no blame most of this people... Most applicant don't have good SOA... So dey don't have choice... If u have all require document plus statement... U can't spent up to 100k in all and get ur visa

..those stamps on ur old passport doesn't count.. I just submitted today. With new Passport.. When I did thesame by putting copies of my travel history to Ghana.. And the likes.. They just remove everything and gave back to me

U don't need to attach ur old passport... Just make a color copy of ur visa and data page of ur old passport and include in ur documents.. Thats all...

U don't need to book any appointment.. Just get all ur document right and walk in anytime n submit.. Between Monday to Friday... At lekki 3rd roundabout... Best if luck

Hahhahaha.. Yes so.. I was there last year with my wife.. They serve us Tea I drink ooo and after they start their usual Marketing ..then beinging they market is to pay to visit some certain country... For where
They even offer we can pay via POS when I told him I don't have cash on me...

I was new on the France thing wen I applied too, but it’s a direct process. From this thread I learnt it is good to show a valid hotel reservation, which I did and got my visa. It worked for me and for a lot of people here too. Documents: SOA, cover letter(stating ur reason for trip and places to visit and possibly proof to show u will come back to naij) business document or employment doc as the case may be, flight reservation, marriage certificate if it applies. Any form of investment or property in your name or spouse or child. Generally any document that shows u r okay in Naija and don’t need to run.

They don’t accept visa copy except USA and Canada, UK and all that. What I would advise is if you have visited other countries and can lay hold of your accommodation booking and flight ticket, just attach it as supporting document of previous vacation. Don’t use it for the sake of country visa n all that.

I guess that’s all I can think of right now. that’s my own little advice

I eventually summoned courage to pick it up and i was given the Visa. One year.

I submitted last week monday and it was issued yesterday, 2k6th Novmber. (5 working days).

Hello All, UPS delivered I and my Spouse passport today and we got 1 month and 4 days visa approval.

In 2014, we were both refused France Visa twice on the ground that our intent to return could not be ascertained. Family of four, we applied on the 29th of October, 2018. we planned to spend 5 days in France.

I submitted my employment letter(I didn't attest with Chambers of Commerce)
4 months pay slips
Statement of 4 months with closing balance of 3.1m
Letter of Introduction n planned itinerary
Letter of Sponsorship for my wife,
Her Employment letter
Her Statement of account with 500,000 balance
we could not get tax clearance and I let it slide.
Travel Insurance(Mansard)
Hotel Bookings from Booking.com
Confirmed flight e-tickets printout
Evidence of flight payment(it was a big gamble I took here, the leap of faith)
Marriage Certificate.
I had Dubai, S.A and Kenya travel history, they rejected the copies at VFS cos they don't see it as travel history
My wife had copies of USA Visa and it was accepted
my children's birth cert and Passports
Copies of landed properties, with survey plans without C-of-O

Above all, we were hopeful and left everything for God and it came out smoothly.

on the 12th October, I applied for belgium visa(multiple entry) to attend a conference starting on monday 19th-20 November. As its stands now i am yet to get my visa from the embassy and very likely i wont get the outcome until after the conference. I want to find out whether i should recall my passport or wait for them to send it to me when they want. Or is it possible that since i applied for multiple entry, is it possible i still get the visa even if the conference i intended to attend in belgium is over?
