My own Experience
That's how I myself and my wife became enemies of my family members.. Because they are never satisfied with what we do for them..

They have accused my wife innocent wife of depriving them of love and money of their son and brother.

The same family we built a house for, bought 2 cars for them.. Paid the school fees of all of my siblings.. Sponsored the wedding of my siblings. Raise Millions of Naira capital for one of my siblings who eventually squandered it. We never failed in buying my parents food stuff and we have never even turned down any request for assistance from any of them..

Yet, whatever we did for them was never enough..
They started complaining that the school our kids are attending was too expensive..
Next was my wife does not "slave" for the family whenever we have family function..

Now, for our own peace of mind.. I have taken a position of "To your tent O Israel".

I cannot come and die because I have family.

You are not really helping the child. You give the child a mindet that he/she cannot succeed on his/her own merit.

I have a neice I'm sponsoring. When it was time for her to write WAEC and Jamb, many people around expected me to register her in the so-called special centre.

I simply called her, and told her I'll give her the right environment to succeed.. Extra Lessons.. All text-books, access to "guided-Internet" and all.. I made her understand that she could do it..

And she did it and became very confident in her own ability.

Today, she's in 400L hoping to graduate soon.

I have come to the conclusion that I'm addicted to prostitutes. It started in 2010 when I first slept with a hooker. Its 13yrs now and I still patronise prostitutes. I slept with 155 of them, 55 were without protection.

The truth is right now, I feel like going somewhere for a while. I feel like I need rest. Somewhere I can forget about all my problems and breathe a fresh air.
My husband has not been honest with me since the beginning of this marriage and I doubt if this is an attitude of a man that loves

He has always been in debt even before I married him. and he wouldn't let me know what he do with the money he keeps borrowing from people. Even my friends I introduced to him, he is owning them and can't pay back.

The bad side is, he borrows and stop picking their calls not respond nicely to them.
He behalves badly to them.
I'm suspecting he's into some kind of addiction that demands money. Maybe gambling but he wouldn't tell me.
He's constantly on his phone.

He is owning loan app everywhere. To the extent that the app had to send hurrible messages to his contact's lists including his bosses, office colleagues and my relatives.
It's so embarrassing and tiring.
He has apologized several times that I should give him time to work on himself to stop an addiction, but he refused to explain what it is. Claiming that I might leave him if I know.
But he has not changed abit.
We are always hungry in this house. No baby food for my 6months old baby, no pampers and everything is total struggle. I quit my job last year but I'll soon start job search once my baby grow a little.
In this house, If I don't look for food, then, we starve, I don't look for means of getting pampers, food, wears,then my baby will suffer, because his daddy is not capable of providing anything for us. It's so annoying.

I have dreams before I married him, but right now, I feel lost. There's no romance, no love, no affection in this marriage anymore, as I wouldn't even let him touch me because of the stress, suffer he constantly brings on us.

Hmnn.. I currently cater for a total of 8 people - 4 adults and 4 children and to be honest, we don't spend upto 300k monthly as living expenses.

Our strategy is to buy things in bulk rather than piecemeal.. For instance we bought groceries of almost 200K in January which is expected to last a few months.

We also buy meats in bulk.. Like 2 laps of cow.. Cartons of fish and all.. Basically, anything that can be bought in bulk, we buy.

What pushes most families into financial mess is mostly education for kids.. We simply put our kids in good schools that we can comfortably afford.

Lastly, myself and wife drive corolla which helps to reduce fuel cost.

So, be grateful for that 300k job.. Several families I know live with less than 100k monthly.
