I WILL LIKE TO APPRECIATE EVERYONE THAT ADVISED ME HERE IN THIS THREAD DURING MY TRYING TIMES.

TEARS ALMOST ROLLED DOWN MY EYES AS I WENT THROUGH THIS THREAD BECAUSE EVERY SINGLE ADVISE I GOT FROM YOU GUYS WAS IMPLEMENTED ESPECIALLY THE VERY LAST ONE BY BABYGURL19. IT WAS AT MFM THAT GOD CHANGED MY STORY LAST YEAR (2011) OCTOBER.BETWEEN OCT 2011 AND APRIL 2012, I HAVE WORKED IN THREE DIFFERENT COMPANIES (A MULTINATIONAL AUDIT FIRM(ONE OF THE BIG 4), AN ENERGY TRAINING COMPANY, AND THE BIGGEST OF THE 3 WHERE I AM CURRENTLY, A SPECIAL AND ENVIABLE POSITION IN A VERY BIG OIL AND GAS COMPANY AS A CHEMICAL ENGINEER).

I WISH TO ENCOURAGE THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE STILL BELIEVING GOD TO KEEP TRUSTING HIM.
DON'T GIVE UP, YOUR MIRACLE IS ON THE WAY.

LOVE YOU.

Phones / Pleeeeeeease!!! How Do I Remove Sos From My Bb. by kvolander: 3:29pm On Jul 29, 2012
My BB has been on SOS since yesterday and I have not been able to do anything with it since then. What puzzles me is the fact that I never did anything unusual to it yesterday and every other BB owner around me has got network on theirs.

I've tried hard reset so many times, ran diagnostic test from Mobile Network Options but all to no avail.
PLEASE EXPERTS, WHAT DO I DO?

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Crazy Things Done During Job Hunting by kvolander: 10:05pm On Jul 06, 2012
3 years after MSc, no job but within 7 months, I have worked within 3 companies and still in the 3rd one.

Your job will come at the set time if you keep waiting on God. But try to develop yourself in the meantime and read about current events. My breakthrough job was gotten as a result of my knowledge on current events. It was a multinational auditing firm and a big position I must confess. They lodged me in a hotel for month.Right now,I'm working in my field of expertise with a good take home salary.
The MD of the 2nd place I worked is still begging me to come back.

With God all things are possible.

Great Process Engineers.
Experienced Process Engineers, PLEASE, HELP ME OUT!!!

I wish to find out the prospects of working as a Process Engineer on an As-Built Documentation(field verification and reviews of P&IDs)of LNG facilities.

Please, bear in mind that I don't have the experience in Conceptual,FEED, and Detailed Design but I have an excellent experience in interpreting Process Engineering Flow Schemes (PEFS) or P&IDs and Line Diagrams as I am currently working as a contract process engineer in NLNG. Also,my past experiences(3years) before this job were not in the engineering field but I have Bachelors and Masters in Engineering.

I am currently studying materials on (Conceptual,FEED, and Detailed Design) to make up for the process design knowledge inadequacies but will like to find out if any EPC OR OPERATOR company will accept someone with ONLY Field verification experience.

Please, what else can I do to boost my chances of clinching a Process Engineer job which would involve Conceptual,FEED & Detailed Design since I do not have the basic design experience?

My current job is only field verification of Process Engineering Flow Schemes (PEFS) or P&IDs for As-Built Documentation for all the 6 Trains of NLNG.

Your advice would be appreciated.

Bishop Oyedepo is a known giver he is not living off the money of the church. I’m aware that several years ago after so much sufferings, he learnt the secret of sowing seeds. He once carried some money and took it to Arch Bishop Benson Idahosa, Idahosa told him to pour the money on the ground and begin to walk on it which he did, then Idahosa went ahead to prophesy that Bishop Oyedepo will not lack money and that all the days of his life will walk on money and money will be his slave

I heard this story when I was in UNIBEN some years ago. It's true. BTW, I'm not a winners chapel member.

I will strongly advise those of you judging others to stop it right now. When you judge people, you are taking the position of the ALMIGHTY GOD and you can be sure that you're incuring God's wrath because He's a jealous God.

BE WARNED.
Religion / Re: Is It Right To Pray For Your Enemies To Die. by kvolander: 11:39pm On Mar 11, 2011
I don't see anything wrong with praying for your enemies to die but you really need to define those enemies.

There are spiritual enemies which are responsible for all kinds of evil e.g. sickness, failure, rejection, accident, and even death. These enemies may come in human forms as well.i.e those who seek diabolic means to destroy you.
If you don't command them to die, they'll resurface when you're not on your spiritual armour. It might also interest you to know that they are responsible for temptations which easily leads you astray thereby weakening your faith and securing access to your life to destroy you (John 10:10).

If, however you're talking about physical enemies i.e. someone who just does not like you but is not involved in diabolical means to hurt you, then there's no need to pray for their death. If you are doing that, that means you are harbouring anger in you heart which is not good.
I think these are some of the kinds of enemies the Lord asked us to love.

BUT MOST OF ALL, IF YOU ARE SPIRIT-FILLED, THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL TEACH YOU HOW TO PRAY FOR OR AGAINST YOUR ENEMIES.

Be blessed.

Pray, and pray hard, one thing i know is infatuation evaporates after sometime. Give it time and space and see if the feelings are still there. Love is neither obsessesive nor possessive, its a situation where u are loving someone and yet in control of your senses, not wondering in dreamland coz the day u get married, believe me, U will key into reality. then what look at it this way, when the chips are down, will those feelings still be there? when (Godforbid) she has an accident and looses all those essential qualities u like, will those feelings still be there Love is everything the Bible says it is, so are u ready? undecided

@OP,

I don't know if you are a christian but the response above is the best answer to your question.
You can read 1st Corinthians 13:4 - 13.

Try as much as possible to avoid any temptation to engage in sex before marriage. That's because the moment you do that the devil gets in the way and before you know it, hatred will set in.

I wish you the best my dear friend.

So anything can happen in that corner of the globe.

You are in love with ur elder sister's husband, ehnn? Something must be wrong with you.

When there are many available guys even in the campus you are.

C'mon, come off it and go for deliverance. It's not normal.
The devil is trying to use you to destroy your sisters' family. Don't allow him.

I'm about doing this too but unfortunately, if a good job comes my way,I'll either turn it to a part-time study or drop it.

@poster,

You need to start by initiating a contact with one of the professors in your school of choice. But like Ajanlekoko said, hope you've got MSc.

Good luck to you.

@Ajanlekoko,

Thanks for that advice. I'm actually in Nigeria and you're right about my discipline.

I've actually been giving other sectors a trial even teaching but what I hear is you're 'overqualified'.
It's so frustrating my brother.

Hello everyone

Please, I need your advice on an issue. A number of job opportunities have bypassed me because of my age. I'm 30, got a Bachelors and Masters(foreign) but without experience.

The problem now is that I can't change my age because I've got it on my passports with valid visas which carries my DOB. Changing of passports can also not be the way out since I may be asked to produce the passports I used when I went for my MSc.
I graduated two years ago, came back this year but still without any job.

The other problem is my lack of experience in the field I studied. The two years after my MSc were spent on a semi-skilled area which isn't related to where I studied.

So my question and where I need your advice are:

How can I avoid revealing my age to the employers?
Since no relevant experience in my area of study, what do you advise? Coz I'm really getting frustrated o

pLEASE, I WILL GREATLY APPRECIATE POLITE COMMENTS ONLY. IN THE NAME OF GOD ALMIGHTY, PLEASE, DON'T SAY ANYTHING RUDE, INSTEAD READ AND MOVE ON.

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR ADVICE.

it sounds appealing though. But shell is well known for dissapointment as no activities suggest that they may go ahead with recruitment. However, God is miraculous, hence anything can happen.

the expected medical IVs is it for the engineers who are meant for sitp or hr/finance graduates are inclusive.

your response will appreciated.

I was referring to the technical grads.

A shell employee said the medicals ought to have been sent since and remember Bernard Enahoro said it's month end. So hopefully, before the end of the week, we should be smiling.

It's time to keep the thread alive again hopefuls coz I brought it from page 4.

Cheers guys.
