[img][/img][img][/img] According to TheCableNG, in a statement, the company said it filed a case against Sterling Bank at the federal high court in Lagos for allegedly implementing an idea without recourse to the progenitor (TVIO Solutions). TVIO Solutions said it developed a pay by instalment platform where customers can purchase goods and pay later in four instalments at different online and in-store accredited agents at 0% interest. It said the idea was discussed with Sterling Bank in September 2019 and the bank, having bought into the idea, requested and sought for a proposal to acquire more information about the project. TVIO Solutions said it sent in a proposal as requested, soliciting for equity or debt from the bank as potential partners in the project. After receiving the proposal, Sterling Bank was said to have declined to respond to emails, calls and SMS from TVIO Solutions seeking updates on the deal. In December 2020, Sterling Bank was alleged to have launched a carbon copy of the same initiative and idea proposed to them earlier by TVIO Solutions. Sources associated with TVIO Solutions said they have evidence of every conversation and meetings held with Sterling Bank in regards to ‘Paywithspecta’ (code name for the project). In an email response to TheCable’s enquiry, Sterling Bank said: “We are aware of the suit and it is currently pending adjudication at the Lagos High Court.” “As a law-abiding institution, we believe the responsible course of action is to withhold from further commentary on a matter that is sub-judice and await the Court’s decision.” |
Rumour has it, there would be another National Awards early next year. Some people were left out of the last one!? |
@OP- Pls dont try to compare. Nigerian awards are not US awards. Getting such awards in Nigeria is just like getting ur first computer appreciation certificate, as we have seen recently. Our leaders are just a bunch of jokers. Just when u think som1 who knows what to do with dis country is coming in, they fall ur hand like a two-year old pissing in his mama's soup pot. |
Y cant ur husband be your "male bestfriend". Male bestfriend ko! I think as a husband, I can have a female bestfriend too. We can discuss stuff, go to the movies, share secrets, hold hands and do every other ridiculus activity we can think of while justifying myself that I cant do anything wrong as a married man. I guess its even more ridiculous as a house wife because u av more than enof bestfriends already in ur husband and kids. |
O boy u are interested in dat big booty! If u are not, just ignore d poor girl let her do her work. If u are, beg her for a taste of it Shikena. Dnt come here and tell us funny war stories.javascript:void(0); |
This Mumu's really think Nigerians are as stupid as they are. If its nt because of threat then wot shud be d reason? When a lot of dirty big men in Abj av bn planning how to make more millions during dis 51st anivasri. Boko Haram and MEND don spoil their market. Shameless ppl. |
Am concerned about the quoted above. Was that exactly how Patience spoke her English or the poster is just trying to cover her linguistic fuckup?!? |
Is this not the fool that punched the Barjesus out of his co-worker a while ago? Who cares abt ur life, tell it to the dogs. Of course u know the real reason y u aint married! |
At a time when nuclear energy is loosing its popularity due to its inherent dangers. And at a time when countries like Germany and France are already discussing their exit strategies in order to shut down all nuclear power stations in their country by the year 2022, Nigerian leaders are trying to worsen our situation by starting a hell factory in a country dat is already hellish. Keep it up dumb leaders! |
Its shocks me that our great, prolific activist and music maker, Olufela Olusegun Oludotun Ransome-Kuti, is not being given due recognition in this country. October 15th is meant to be the birthday of the late Fela but there seem not be any National recognition of this fact. At a time when influential figures from all works of life have suddenly come to the realization that Fela Kuti was one of the greatest music maker and activist ever to set foot on earth, more shud be done to keep his name alive. A lot have already been done by Will and Jada Pincket Smith, Jay Z (who contributed to the broadway depiction of Fela!) Tony Allen (Fela's drummer of twenty years), MCA/Universal record company, the whole crew of Fela! on broadway to name a few. The success of the Fela! show both in the US and the UK over the past 2 years have further indicated that he is even more popular in death than while he was alive. He is now, more than ever, revered by the entertainment community the world over. It would be nice if the crop of musicians we have in the country today can come up with something reasonable which could be kept alive for every 15th of October. If the Nigerian government seems to now have their hands full with other pressing issues just because they av dragged their corrupt foot 4 too long, then the Nigerians youths, especially those in the entertainment industry should take the Legend of Fela higher than it already is. |
Wetin b dis na! Who tried dis wickedness dis morning? Getting to d offc to open such a link. How can I concentrate on work 4 d rest of the day now. |
Seriously, d pastors and pastor mrs are not entirely to be blamed. Their ego and sinful stupidity is often upgraded by the so-called church members. No matter how much evil, wrong doing or controversy follows a particular pastor and his church, Nigerians will still flock there next sunday. Ah ah, which kain wahala b dis na! |
Seriously. Ilorin, Kwara state is your best bet. That is if u are thinking of raising a family like you said. Am not from Kwara state but I grew up there and I know what am talking about. I currently work in Abuja and I really dont see myself raising a family here. Dnt get me wrong, ppl who av there family here av 1 reason or d other why it is working for them. But I bliv Ilorin is peaceful, quite, its easy and cheap to move around and security-wise, it beats Abuja a million times over. |
Woman, you would have asked Nairalanders b4 U and ur husband went on this suicide mission. Haba, why una Bleep up like this? |
Right. |
A friend of mine once said that revolutions, especially very vital once which borders on human life, social welfare and politics, should not be televised because he views them as times when individuals (surferers) fight for sacred causes which should not be recorded in any form. As for my take however, in this age that we are in, Revolutions stand a chance of having stronger impacts and achieving the goals for which it is started in the first place if, and only if, they are televised. We have seen how strong the media has proven to be in this century and how the media has helped in shaping and reshaping events happening the world over. Also, with the internet (the NEW media), broadcasting has been taken a couple of notches higher. With blogosheres like my great nairaland, we have seen very vital issues that have been discussed on this site with ordinary Nigerians making very relevant inputs. I would like to know ur take out there, should revolutions be televised or not? Over to you nairalanders. |
If she is good enof, u wnt know! Just tag along. |
My ever ready nairalanders, pls I need you to address this issue seriously. I have a friend who has been going out with his ex's younger sister for the past 4 years, they are crazy about eachother and are planning to get married, that has actually been their plan from the beginning. My friend and his ex has discussed the issue as she has been aware of the development for the past 3 years. He claims that since the relationship happened when they where in ss2, only lasted for 2 years and they never had the opportunity to get sexual, it is ok. My friend and his ex communicates perfectly and she is aware and ok with him getting married to her younger sister as she is also crazy about this other guy so she doesnt seem to be bordered. Please nairalanders, issues like this seems to be more complicated than they seem, now or later. Please what is your take? |
When he/she is strong enof to take it in! |
Enof fuss about dis "suffers' wage". They can all kiss my ass wit their nonsense promises. The money belongs to Nigerians and Nigerians deserve far much better. These bloddy governors always sound as if they are doing us a favour. Shameless idiots. |
Well, I really dont know if he approves but I guess we need it right? As long as it is serious and healthy with d possibility of leading to d alter! |
The Nigerian Electricity regulatory commission (NERC) has shown ful commitment towards stabilising electricity supply in the country. The commission is the body which is responsible for the licensing of private power providers and the regulatory body for power production and distribution. The Commission believes that the electricity power scourge can only be solved if we have a full privatisation of the power sector. |
