Hi Fam,
Please can anyone suggest schools
1) offer fast admission letters (2weeks-4weeks ) for their courses based masters program.
2)that issue their Masters Programs admission offer letters on rolling basis (without waiting for application period to end before sending offers)

Interested areas are - Masters in Science programs
(course based)
MBA
Masters in Management
and fields related to the above.

Hi, I used Tuition by Flutterwave to pay for my Tuition fee, easy process and CBN rate was used instead of blackmarket rate. saved me alot of money i must say.
Hi,
Please how long did it take for the tuition you paid to get to your school and be in your school account?
Can you share your experience from start to finish?

I know Tuition by Flutterware says 2 days, I have some who used them, they have sent her a receipt that the tuition has reached her school but its not reflecting in her school account yet.

Good morning people,
I have just been served breakfast last night. I really need help going forward to get it right. I actually applied via an agent.
Sorry about the refusal.
If you can share the reason for the refusal and what you did in your application, people in here would be able to share some thoughts towards getting it right.
In the main time, order your GCMS notes to know the VO exact concerns. Refusals can happen in DIY (do it yourself) or assisted applications.
Be encouraged.

Hello guys, please I need your help oooo. I haven't been able to sleep well. I applied to CNA and Sheridan since June but didn't get admission. I was asked to submit some documents and after that didn't hear anything from them.

I also applied to Conestoga on August 24th but after asked to resubmit some documents, I was on the wait list.

Since January is no longer feasible, please can you guys help out and let me know which schools give admission fast. I don't know if it's my study gap of 8 years that's affecting me though. Please if you also know of any school giving admission for Januray intake please let me know.

Also note that I got admission into a non-DLI school (Oulton College), but I'm not sure if it'll be easy to switch to another school when I get to Canada or get the refund of the $3000 deposit. Please help out with any information you can give out about any of the above. Thank you.
January 2024 may be pretty slim.
From my experience these schools are pretty fast.
Fleming Toronto Campus
Fanshawe

Also if the course you are applying for is competitive and your are meeting just the minimum requirements, you may not get the offer.

If the schools keep requesting more documents, what are missing in the initial application.

You can email me if you need a document review or help with admission.

This is the website for the Free ATIP CBSA notes. Somewhere on this thread, a detailed application steps was written by someone but I can't recall which of the pages. But I just followed the directions on the page and submitted, 2 weeks after, they mailed me to submit travel passport as proof of identity, I did and about a week later, the notes came in. Give it a shot.

Hi,
Please who has received CBSA notes recently? How long did it take before you got it?
Or GCMS notes? How long did that take?

Also, can one pay for GCMS notes with Naira Card?
How did you go about it? Or must it be done by someone in Canada? (thats i got it last year when my ward’s visa was delayed).

Inputs please.

U don’t need or have to defend SOWP. It’s called Spouse Open Work Permit i.e For a spouse accompanying his/her spouse. U don’t have to prove why u going for it, u automatically qualify for it once ur spouse is going for studies majorly. And ur SOP should do justice to explaining why he is accompanying his/her spouse.
Thank you. Same thing i told them.

He doesn't have to leave the job then.. Prove that he will return at the end of his stay.. He should provide leave letter from his employer ..all employment documents including bank statements..and education certificates..

Purpose of visit:give reasons why he will be accompanying spouse to canada ..

SOWP can be refused on tie to country of origin and purpose of visit..
Thank you very much. Same thing i told them. I think they are opting for Visit visa for the spouse.

Hello Kweje,

If he can prove his employability in his country and have sufficient funds to swallow any incurred expenses for the duration of their stay and for future use, and can demonstrate the travel intent won't throw the family into indebtedness; applying for the SOWP route won't be an issue. The modern world has been structured to put family beyond financial gains, even if it is required to care for the family's well-being.

Best Wishes!
Thank you very much. Will inform them.

A friend is about to make a family application(student+spouse+child). The spouse has a good job in Nigeria with an Intl company, is SOWP advisable or he just apply as a Visitor and flagpole in Canada.

They are concerned if the VO wont question why he is leaving his good job for uncertainty with SOWP.

How does he defend his SOWP if they decide on that route?
Please your inputs. Many thanks

Schengen visa is not so easy this days.. why not try re-routing your flight? Did you buy directly from Lufthansa? If yes, please go back and seek a route without 2 stops in Europe. Be on them, they will find a way. I know someone who had same issue last week.

Dear Gurus in the house,

I’m actually new here but need your urgent advice as regards to writing a good SOP to apply for Canada study permit.
I have an undergraduate degree in physiology (medical related), I then applied to University of Manitoba for another undergraduate nursing degree, unfortunately wasn’t granted admission because my school syllabus for transfer credits were not sufficient to meet the required prerequisite (Nigeria factor), however was considered for admission into bachelor of science (general). The admission officer advised that with that route I will be able to complete the prerequisite in my second year (the admission given is to begin from year 2 of 4 years program) and if I do well, I can now reapply for nursing program. (Nursing in U of M is 28months and one qualifying year).

I also need to mention that I currently work as an HR assistant but do have some transferable skills since I will be dealing with humans. But do you think I should disclose this to the visa officer?

I need advice on my chances of getting a student permit visa approved, and how to construct my statement of purpose.

You may want to ask why I’m opting for another undergraduate program, but my reason is because I’m intrigued to study nursing, and because my initial undergraduate course isn’t nursing, I can’t apply for pgd(not sure) or masters degree in nursing.

Please what are your opinions guys☹️☹️☹️
Hi, since you were not admitted for Nursing, i don’t think you need to focus on that but rather how the Bsc General is beneficial for your current line of experience.
How you long have you worked in HR?
When did you obtain your first Bsc?.

That being said, did you try other schools that allow top up degree for Nursing? Eg Uni of Sask.

In your post, you mentioned if you do well, you can re apply for Nursing, would that mean, if that doesn't happen, you would be expending funds in another BSc you don’t need?

Have you considered other course routes into Canada? That may be cheaper than a 3yr B.Sc?

All the best

someone told me U/Manitoba allows one to register and pay for just one course for the semester....u have to confirm this. You need it as you are required to be enrolled and studying before changing school. Then when you get admission elsewhere you submit a new study permit application with the new letter of acceptance.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/change-schools.html
If one is currently enrolled and actively studying, you do not need to submit a new study permit. The link you attached mentioned it, unless a student attempt to change schools outside of Canada. Students can switch schools if they meet the conditions. It is a free process.

While it is true that U of M allows you to pay per course registered, registering only one course in Fall or Winter terms is considered studying part time and is against your study permit guidelines. You can only register for one course during Summer which is considered a free term( you can study or decide not to study) unless your program specifies you must study during summer term like their accelerated nursing program demands.

@Bobomaigida @justwise and other gurus, pls i need your advice.
I intend to change school when i get to canada in September. The issue now is that i just aplied to another school for January intake so i dont have another letter of admission yet. I intend to voluntary withdraw from U of M then go to another province as my uncle is there. I was reading IRCC website and i just want to ask if theres any penalty i should be aware of like do i need permission from U of Manitoba for authorised leave, and will it affect my study permit cause my uncle is worried it would?pls help my flight is in a few days.
Thank you
You will have to registered in U of Manitoba for the semester as a full time student. To be considered a full time student (study visa requirement) you have to register for at least 3 courses.
If you do less, you fall under part time students and that can affect your PGWP and PR in the future.

Since you already have a study permit, you can switch schools on IRCC portal after meeting that requirement above.
You must school in U of Manitoba first.

Anyone ideas…

A student didn’t pick her student at her port of entry (Vancouver), she was wrongly informed by a customer service staff to pick up at Toronto(her final destination).

Now she is being asked to back to Vancouver to get it?

Is there a way around this?

The funds will be enough, but you know with IRCC, it is not the presence of funds that matters but HOW you raised the funds backed by documentary evidence.

If you look well at the letter IRCC sent you to go for biometrics, you will it see it among your own details.
Also click on the question mark beside that field as you are booking, you will see how to find it on biometrics request letter.

Not correct. Most 1yr programs are 8months courses made of 2 terms.
1 yr program = 1 PGWP

I suspect the lump sum deposits counted against the application, if they are able to keep the funds for 3 to 4 months, and show sources for additional funds, the application should fly.
Thank you so much. It was just 1 lump sum and it was explained. Infact, the lumpsum was used up well before the N27m.

Your advise is valid. Thank you.
