We rejoice with you. Congratulations. The wait is over. May the Lord bless you in the land of Canada. Ayotola2020: Hello all,
At last I got my PPR today after 5 months and 3 weeks , almost 6 months and 26 days after bvl The waiting was excruciating.
Special thanks to the rear gem on this platform @makano. He is truly competent in visa processing. I almost gave up but he gave me some advices yesterday on how to mail IRCC which I followed through and my PPR came within 24 hrs
Infact my application was part of those he posted yesterday with bvl and no PPR for 26 days.
This is my timeline:
Application date: 10th Nov,2021
Biometrics: 12th Nov,2021
Medical request: 15th March, 2022
BVL: 24th March,2022
PPR: 20th April, 2022
Like I said earlier, special thanks to Makano. I am a silent member on this group but I got a lot of information here that helped me. Makano kept reassuring me when I was down.He is vast in the visa processing and also very compassionate. God bless you greatly sir.
God bless everyone here taking their time to share their timelines. I would be an ingrate not to share mine.
For all other waiting, it shall all end in praise |

The one on Q-life, do we pay the 46,500 that’s showing on the portal after paying visa fee? 2. If I want to use iom, do I have to go to the office? Because I’m finding it hard to get a link to book my slot.
Please a sister needs your help here!! Thanks I’m advance |

Oh sure. I am well aware and i didnt see them say it was NSE route too. Also reading through the thread, most people have acknowledged that the NSE route is no longer effective. We all pray for quick processing oh. DestinationCann: Some have gotten in 11 and 14days though. |

From all i have read on this thread, the NSE route is no longer effective. People no longer get visas in 20days. Everyone apply normally via the GCkey portal or new IRCC portal All the best Trailblazer21: Please I have a question and I will appreciate a response my fellow nairalanders.
- how do I apply under the NSE route please? I opened a link for the NSE that was sent on this thread but there was a request for invite code. So should I create an account or what?
P.s - I already have a gckey account.

Annettevoke: Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds: • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status. You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee
How do i address this refusal, house pls advise. Was refused today applied Feb 28th. Sorry about it, the next one will be a positive outcome. To help you, i believe the house will need more details about your application. Details like what was your POF like, your tuition fee amount? Did you pay a deposit? Are you sponsored or self sponsored? If sponsored by whom? How did you proof your relationship to sponsor? Etc Share details so people can advise better. Order your gcms notes also to identify the real reason behind the refusal. All the best. |

BenedictStinson: I tried to apply from the college directly but they sent me a mail with list of agents that are required for Nigerian students Does the applyboard allow to bypass that requirement? I used applyboard for my ward and her admission offer was in less than 4days. If you try what i said in my earlier post and it doesn’t go through then you can look for a Nigerian agent. ApplyBoard works with students from all over the world. All the best. |

BenedictStinson: Abeg who has processed admission into Fanshawe college because it seems all their agents love to exploit the situation with ridiculous exorbitant prices Use ApplyBoard. Create a user profile. ApplyBoard doesn’t charge you, you only pay college or university application fee. Fanshawe college was a FREE application for the candidates i used them for recently. You might get a FREE application too. Admission offer was also very fast too. Check that you meet course requirements too. All the best. |

Benwems: is it true that if you exist canada(visit Nigeria) during your study or during your PGWP you would be given PR or you wouldn't be eligible for PR? I don’t think that is true. Study permits visa are multiple entries visas which means you can enter, leave and return to Canada while on the visa. I stand to be corrected. |

emmalextemtop: Hello, i have not been to pay for my flight booking since morning, the only means i has was found but my back app can't transfer more than 500k...
Any help please, i can pay to Ethiopian Airline, even through wakanow.
Someone said i will have to get to the bank for upgrade, is that the only solution please? Some bank apps allow your adjust your transfer limits by yourself on your app. Have you tried that? You could also ask some who trust you to do the transfer and pay the flight for you so you don’t lose the booking and you send the cash back to the person. All the best. |

Chechem: Good evening everyone, Please when proofing fund for myself and my sponsor, is statement from our Nigerian banks acceptable? Or must it be in Canadian Dollars?
If not of the above, I need directives on how it is done. Thanks everyone... Nigerian bank statement is acceptable and used by applicants. Ask the Nigerian bank for MyBankStatement. Most banks do it and sends the statement straight to the embassy. Also do read page 1 of this thread. The first few pages will help you understand how to put your application together. All the best. |

Atigba: After the one year work permit
What kind of job you need to be eligible for a permanent residence Hi Atigba, the 1 yr PGWP allows you to work and stay in Canada for 1 year. In that period you are to find a job or do what is required to obtain PR if that’s your desire. Different PR pathways and different requirement in different provinces. Some dont even need a job offer or work period. The challenge is get that PR within 1 yr that you are allowed to live legally in Canada. Hence to avoid the risk, some people opt to get a 2nd study program after their 1st year study. Its called a 1+1 1+1 =2 years of study 2 years of study = 3 years PGWP. Thats 3 extra years to get that blessed PR. All the best. |

Akinz75: Good day to guys Pls I’m about to start my application journey but I have one concern, which is, I’ve been using my father’s name as my surname since my childhood (firstborn) while my siblings are using our family name as their surname, will this affect my home ties in any way? Do you have birth certificates with your parents full names on yours and that of your siblings? You could show that and mention it in your LOE. Family pics of your family Siblings birth certificates showing same parents. The gurus can add to my thoughts or correct it. |
