Does the order in which it is don matter,
I mean can the custodian first notarize it before the parents?
Not sure but i was told most Canadian lawyers may not sign unless they see the other angle signed, i guess its for authenticity.

Hello my people
Please I need help
If you have used Form A to pay NBCC through PAYMYTUITION.
My form A status is on ADB SUPERVISOR (RECOMMENDED FOR APPROVAL) but paymytuition has just cancelled my payment order.
What do I do?
Please don’t panic. Whenever your payment eventually gets to PayMyTuition, they will re activate your payment instructions and inform you. Your money will be forwarded to your school.
I know this because i had a chat with paymytuition in Feb about scenarios like this.

Good evening everyone, please I have a challenge. My letter of acceptance is attached as a PDF to the letter that shows that work is essential. But the new portal requires I send them on two different uploads. Please can I send as it is or there's a way I can seperate them and send differently ?
Thanks
You could try using a pdf splitter like smallpdfs or ilovepdfs so you have two different files.
Or save the maIn LOA as LOA 1 or something, then use delete pages on the smallpdfs to delete the letter page and leave the work permit part, download the adjusted file then save it with different file name

You can try the pro version of smallpdfs for free for 7days.

Good Afternoon,
please what is the minimum amount for a single person proof of fund for a diploma course in Canada
According to IRCC website. You need to show your 1yr tuition fees and 1 yr living expenses (about 10,000CAD). I have seen it mentioned that you also need an extra of 3,000cad for miscellaneous( please house you can correct this if i am wrong).

If its 2 years diploma and you can show the 2 year tuition then fine.

They are more interested in the source of funds and that the source that can continue to fund you and not just the bank balance. Get documents to show the source of funds too.

Hello,

Please explain what you mean by "The VFS system isn't working, so you're attempting a walk-in to get your biometric done".

Note that even the security won't even allow you to enter the premises if your name isn't on the list of those booked for biometrics for that day.

So if you have paid for your biometrics (which was paid during application submission), kindly book your biometrics online and print out your biometric appointment letter, BIL and go with your Passport.

All the best
Its sorted. Biometric letter finally printed.

The online portal is not working.
I have been on it for over 4 hours. keeps giving incorrect password.
The webchat sent me through email route again.

In Person is an option on the No 5 VFS portal.

Do you pay any money at VFS centre to do your biometric?

After you have paid biometric fee 85Cad with your Visa fee of 150 Cad online.

Please answer those who have done or just their biometrics.

Good evening everyone,

So I found a custodian for my nephew, who's planning on applying for a study visa I already downloaded the custodian declaration form but I'm kinda stuck in some parts
In the document it says I have to get it notarized in a public notary court,
So my question is how do I get it notarized do I need to print it out or what.
Please see below images for clarification.
What you need to do is fill both pages online, then print it out.
Have the page 2 it signed by the parents or guardian, give to a Notary public to sign.
Leave the page 1 unsigned, its for the custodian and Canadian Notary.
Scan both pages and email to the custodian. He or she will sign their bit and give to a Canadian lawyer.

Then it can be rescanned and emailed back to you.

Good morning all.
Congratulations to those already blessed with ppr, and good wishes to those on awaiting approval.

Please, do the new portal require the submission of Document checklist for a study permit, Application for study permit made outside of Canada, and the Family information form?
The new portal comes with its own customized checklist based on what you fill in it.
The family information and TRV application details are all inside this one online form, no need to upload it differently.

Go online, create a profile on the new portal and do a test run, you will see what is required. Please do not click submit or validate oh… until you are ready.
Just test it out.

(a) There is usually a place for authorization letter (at least, for a visitor visa on the new portal). But if you can't find any, merge it with the letter of explanation and submit under additional documents (client info).

(b) The travel history should also go with the letter of explanation under additional documents (client info).
Thanks so much. You have been super helpful. God bless you.

I agree it is hard but beneficial. It will prepare you for student visa before you even apply for admission. If you can't do it, then you should Google your questions or search them on YouTube to find many answers that may or may not be relevant to you and your unique profile.

People that read more than one thread end up becoming guru in their own way. You might even find lifelong friends and mentors here by reading and helping others. Some of us did and it transform our lives completely. All the best.
Very well said.

For (a) Authorization to travel for a minor, I can't really say.
For (b), merge relevant documents together, provided the files are not more than 2MB. You can use a table of contents to show your
uploads.
Thank you so much.

Yes, it's just that we've had several series and this is the 22nd series
I know the feeling. I joined this forum on this 21st thread. I then went back and started from page 1 of this thread, read like 10 pages per time( morning, afternoon and night). I took me days to catch up. While reading through, you will see references to past thread.
Like Osemigho said… you will see how some of the gurus here learnt from this platform.

Please try and read at least 1st 10 pages.

I also noticed affidavit of return on some profiles of those who had gotten their PPR.

Can any say what it is contained in it?

Does it affect the weight of your applications?

I need advice from the experts here I’ve been following the thread but I still need advice and if there is anyone who can help me with writing the SOP I will appreciate cos I want to submit the application by April
You can contact @Technix. Check for his name on on the thread.
There may be more people who can help with that.

Applying with your wife..you definitely need a very good SOP to convince the VO of your home ties.

NO. You don't need to sign anything. Write it and submit.

There are plenty of formats to writing a good SOP on this thread.

Please can anyone help with this? Must the SOP be signed physically by applicant? Which means it has to be printed out, signed then scanned? Or it doesn’t matter?

Please i am about to submit the application,

Thanks in advance
