nwanne anom nazi gi... U've just said it all am also from ebonyi state(afikpo), many people do consider eboyians as been in darkness because of the poor perfomance of the state... Yet, our leaders are the one drawing down, like at somebody like martin elechi, a man that wanted mornachy in his on time... They are wicked to the masses and we are the ones suffering...

Ebonyi state is really in darkness, but with God we will be at the top.. I really feel for my state.

Wisdomkosi:
After going through this thread https://www.nairaland.com/3213384/umahi-presents-2016-prado-suvs where the governor of my state donated 2016 Prado suv which cost 15 million Naira each I wept bitterly because I know the poor condition of my state. I am from ebonyi state and am not a shame to tell people my state of origin. I am writing this article with tears in my eyes because even our South East brothers consider or see ebonyians as fools because of ebonyians don't go to school. People like me who are willing to go to school can't because no money but the governor prefer giving out 2016 suv to house members that already have many cars. Please my governor, what happens if you use that money which you used to acquire 2016 prado suvs for scholarship? I went to Lagos of a recent to pay my uncle a visit, believe me I discovered that 95% of the people hawking on the street are ebonyians. Why can't you Mr governor use this medium that street hawking has been banned in Lagos to call those ebonyians back home and relocate them to the newly built international markets which is now a den of criminal activities in the state please?

It is a slap in our face that we ebonyians can't access loan to even farm which we are good at my governor. I still won't forget a day an ebonyi guy met me and discovered that am from ebonyi in Lagos, he asked me to follow him and start doing Street hawking that I will make it. I told him, I can't because am here for a visit and even if I want to follow him my uncle won't let me hawk even though I need money seriously for my school which am still struggling to enter because no money. What's the fate of that guy now that street hawking has been banned in Lagos? Why can't you from that money and give loans to farmers in ebonyi, give scholarship to those willing to further their education, call those ebonyians hawking in different streets of every Nigeria state home and give them that international market to make use and pay a little money to the state government? I am not a politician and I will never put my hand into politic. I am in my 20s but I weep bitterly for this state because there are many talents wasting in this great state. I am writing this article to you my able Governor, Enginer David nweze umahi like a son to a father because am just 20 years old. Ebonyians in diaspora hawking, let's come back home and make a ebonyi a great state. Nothing good comes easy but I believe we will get there one day.

@Wisdomkosi.

Enough have been said regarding our great state, Ebonyi. While acknowledging the fact that we all are entitled to our opinions, BUT WE MUST STOP WASHING OUR DIRTY LINENS HERE ON NAIRALAND. This thread would rather rebound with people from other states projecting rather virulent & bitter remarks about our people. Have u seen an Enugu indigene criticizing his governor or state, Anambra, Imo, etc.??¿?? Rather they bring up & sponsor threads that promotes it. But because of their preconceived & misguided misconception about Ebonyi State, they would rather make u more miserable & worthless before them. Needless to say that Ebonyians are the most hardworking Ibos, but they would dispute it & be blinded by the truth. Show me an Anambrarian that can get 300 heaps in a day & I will show u a Hercules among Ebonyians. Please let no one make us inferior. We all know that Ebonyi is GREAT, only time shall tell. Even people that have visited Ebonyi once know that its GREATNESS abounds. No state is perfect likewise Ebonyi, No leader is perfect likewise Dave Nweze Umahi. He may have taken his decision to suit his taste; to fulfill his constitutional role, budget, campaign promises, & god-knows-what motives. The luxury car purchase issue have come & gone, & there is little or nothing we may do about it. BUT WE CAN STILL DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE FUTURE OF EBONYI, but it would have to begin with every Ebonyian, by being more creative & hardworking. Aboveall, we should learn to internalize adjuged negative news about EBONYI STATE & not engage in war of words on Nairaland & others. God bless EBONYI STATE, God bless NIGERIA

Thanks for raising that point.
Moreover is it that the salary of these legisLOOTERS is not enough compared to the minimum wage of N18,000 to warrant dashing them SUVs on top?
Anyway if the people of Ebonyi are so carefree about how their:

- federal allocation
- taxes/IGR
- loans

are spent while they do not have:

- TAP water
- education for all children
- good roads
- clinics and hospitals

that can create EMPLOYMENT for their people so they don't flood into Lagos state to be abused by Yorubas, na them sabi oh!

My South East brothers who are wont to calling PMB all sorts of names. My question is WHO IS MORE OF A DULLARD BETWEEN UMAHI and BUHARI? I staunchly believe it's the former.

a) Ebonyi is one of the poorest states in Nigeria with low monthly allocation and poor IGR yet the Governor could donate 2016 Prado SUVs not to school principals or civil servants but to House members who already has.

b) The price of the lowest 2016 Prado SUV is
52,990 dollars, if dollar to naira is pegged 1-#300,that's around 15,897,000.
http://www.themotorreport.com.au/62136/toyota-prado-2016-australian-price-and-features-gx-gxl-vx-kakadu

c) What happened to INNOSON Motors? What happened to buy Nigeria to raise the naira campaign by the Twitter SINator BMB, I could remember how our Ibo brothers vilified Ambode for not patronising Innoson only for Wike to donate Honda cars some days later.

d) If the FG had bought this same Prado SUVs, the noise of PMB being anti-Ibo would be trending on Twitter.

e) I challenge Nairalanders in the South West to this exercise, whenever you see an Ibo man hawking anything in traffic, ask him his state of Origin, there is 75% chance that he is from Ebonyi, it used to be Akwa Ibom before. Political Platform on Raypower challenged its listeners to it and I found out it's true

f) If your governors wouldn't patronise INNOSON, no one else would.
I am sure many will QUOTE me that I'm obsessed with the Ibos, I'm only a Nigerian who loves the truth.

BRAVO TO A FELLOW BUREAURACT
Phones / Re: #C9JATour: Images Shot With Camon C9 by kwyllancy: 7:13pm On Jun 20, 2016
AnnabelR0se:
Now that the camera flagship device has been released by TECNO, one of the questions on people’s lips is “are the cameras really good? Tecno Camon C9 is a powerful device with 13MP front and back camera with dual flash at the back. But the quality of a picture is not being determined by megapixel but by the lens being used.
Images shot with the front camera versus IPhone 6s

The phone has an integrated camera hardware like f/2.0 aperture and 6P coaxial lens. The f/2.0 aperture allows more light into the camera while the 6P coaxial lens helps to capture vivid and colourful images. Tecno Camon C9‘s low-light performance is 15% better than Camon C8, the front facing camera of Camon C9 is powerful and the deal here is the wide angle capability of the front camera. It is 83° wide and can capture more people in a single selfie. I have some breath- taking images shot by the device and they are really good pictures. Camon C9 is a must have device if you care about quality photos.

83° wide angle 13MP front camera

This is the first time Tecno will be producing a device with a whooping 13MP front camera and Tecno says it is not in competition with anybody but with itself. The wide angle capability of the front makes it possible for capturing more people in a single selfie. It’s 15% wider than competition. This can further be extended to 120° panoramic mode that can capture lot more than the normal mode

An enhanced 13MP rear camera

The 13MP rear camera on the camon C9 is more improved than the one on Camon C8. The camera is fitted with f/2.0 aperture diaphragm that enables it to let in more light, thereby producing brighter images in a low light environment. Tecno C9’s rear camera has a higher light intake ratio in low light conditions compared to iPhone 6 Plus.

That’s not all. Tecno C9’s rear camera has an oversized pixel that allows you take better photos at night compared to iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung S6 Edge. Images captured using the rear camera on Tecno Camon C9 are more vivid and colourful thanks to the 6P optical lens on the device and the dual flash at the back makes night photography awesome.

Tecno Camon C9 also has Visidon Algorithm Brightness that produces 50% brighter images than average. The blue glass helps to filter parasitic light that may want to interfere with the quality of the images being taken. Its Visidon Algorithm Noise reduction clears up to 75% of the ‘noise’ in the dark leaving you with a very clear photo.

Currently the C9JA Tour is ongoing where VJ Adams and other explorers are touring major cities in Nigeria to showcase the beautiful landscapes and important artifacts and monuments. All of these places with be captured with the Camon C9. Already amazing pictures have been emerging from the tour and they are really breath-taking. Check out some of these pictures

We started talking until we fell in love and i decided to marry her. Though am still awaiting for her parents consent before i fix the date for formal introduction.
She had directed me to different pastors for this purpose and i had done my own part.
The issue now is that she told me that she had done an operation for lumb in her breast which did not go down well with my mum. My mum has said "i will not marry her"
The major issue i solicite for an advice is that i took her to a doctor who told me she has a kidney issue.
We really love ourselves and i want to marry her not just because she is still a virgin but she is a good girl.is there anything that can be done because she is just 21.
I need an advice please ignore my written English.
