What I have felt in this couple of days trip down north is diff from what we are being fed in the media bout north in the south.
Shockingly, with all the news bout BH, north, I mean, abj, kd and kano felt a lot more peaceful than Lagos

Come to think of it, does it mean I ll submit my BVN to a BDC operator while buying dollars from them?

Is dat not worse than submitting to an online click away scammer?

So, how are we sure the BDC operators are not BVN bank for fraudulent purposes?

Yes, TSA is government money held by banks to do business. Government is asking for her money back. In MTNs case, it is money belonging to a business.

Bros, with all due respect, what u just explained is not the definition of a FINE.

What MTN, FBN and UBA were slammed with is a fine for flouting one regulation/directive or another QED.

TSA is government money. Technically banks have no money.

In otherwords the burden of the fines paid by the banks has no effects on d banks according to u abi?

Stanbic ibtc was fined also, another bank majority owned by south africa's Standard bank. Diplomatic dispite indeed. I wont be surprised if DStv wont be targeted also. This is just a warning for any SA company that wished to invest in nigeria, its now game over. Nigeria wont see any investments from any SA company anytime soon after all this drama. The message is clear, south africans, you are not needed.

Una Sabi generalise without double checking?

FBN paid a fine of over N1.2billion for flouting TSA, na SA company?
UBA has been fine over N2.4billion for flouting TSA na Mbeki company?
Haba, must we whip up sentiments and generalise wrongly just to support willful and complete disregard for the law of the land?

Was UBA not fined and penalized some years back in USA over corporate breaches?
Why are we like this for crying out loud?

Enough of the sympathy,
can Bloomberg for once tell us the effect of a corporate organization willfully disobeying the laws of the land it has signed to operate and comply with?

This is a lesson on compliance, no sentiments apart.

Does MTN think First Bank holding is singing hallelujah after paying their own CBN TSA fine?

I personally filled form to link my Bvn with GTB, I refused to leave d banking hall unless given a confirmation that d link has been done; d bank insisted I shud nt worry Dat it's done.

On getting home, and on logging on to Internet banking, I still linked my Bvn thru d portal, I got d feedback that d link has bn done.

This morning I got the mail that my acct has been temp suspended due to non compliance with Bvn registration.

It's up to cbn and the banks, they are on their own.

Update as at 6.00am 3rd Nov 2015
After registering a complaint with GT, they assured d issue would be resolved in 24 hours.
Just this morning I got another email confirming that the temp suspension on account has been lifted upon successful linking of my bvn.

N1.4trn penalty too heavy to bear – MTN
‘‘MTN Nigeria contacted the regulator with concerns that a demand to disconnect SIM cards by a certain deadline would cause “severe disruption” for customers and recommended a staggered process to limit the possible impact,’’ said Oluwatoye.
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/10/n1-4trn-penalty-too-heavy-to-bear-mtn/

When it was about generating revenues for empty hen through the said sims, empty hen carried on.

Now that is it about bearing the full brunt of regulatory sanctions for willfully violating the regulators directives, empty hen is now hinging its intentional flaggarant disobedeince on severe disruption for customers.
1. Where was customers concerns when empty hen when was busy making money from customers on dropped call?
2. Where was customer concern when they were busy milking customers with deductions for unsolicited and unsubscribed caller tunes?
3. Where was customers concern when they sold ordinary sim card to yours faithfully to the tune of N46,000?
4.Where was customers concern when empty hen and her sister, DSTV makes huge revenue from Nigerian customers yet disqualify the same Nigerian customers from awards and rewards systems to loyal customers just for their xenoloving south african people?
5. Where was customer concern when all appeal to empty hen to offer the same Nigerian customers quality and affordable service as applicable in Ghana, SA and other places empty hen operates?

In the words of Diego of Telemundo, empty hen should 'shut up" and pay the fine already!

Customers should expect enough SMS charges and others that will be imposed for recovery of the fine paid.

Come to think of it, instead of empty hen to be wailing, they should take a cue from 1st bank and pay the fine already.

For any talk of the state of the economy to make sense, they had better not reference the empty hen penalties.

Can empty hen disobey the laws of its host country and go unpunished?
Why did nt Bloomberg and the referenced investors pity Nigerians when empty hen was milking the masses dry while at the same time flying the profits to SA?

Empty hen deserve what they got.

DSTV beware, the sanction when they come una way still dey do press up.

Well, I wish life and marriage was as rosy as you painted it.

If Jesus could not join the crowd to condemn d prostitute that the world had condemned and bent on stoning to death, who am I?

Op pls jump ship immediately, your man who wud be ur ex-soon, will learn and be a better person, and the next woman he d marry will reap where u sowed!

No use advising tolerance and maturity, do exactly as u pleases.

You searched his bag abi pocket maybe without his knowledge and u found what u were looking for- yanga dey sleep, trouble come wakam.

Was the a problem bfore that, NO
Wud they have be a problem if we had respected our space, No

Some rules of marriage at certain stages of d union, are FUNDAMENTALLY UNWRITTEN.

At op, have fun quiting and waiting for the next to come MR PERFECT, but I tell u what, if u continue unauthorized search like the one u did, u will probably not c dat Mr right.

U shud be grateful that u have a fair idea of what to work on ur man on instead of thinking of the exit door on him as people may have advised u.

God just answered your long time prayer and you don't even know the meaning and translation despite you don't even see it in your dream

It's never too late for you to flee from him if you don't want problem in the future..

I pray God will open your understanding..

A word is enough for a wise, I won't say more than that!
Before the op takes a decision on this issue BASED on our advice,
CAN WE AS WELL SHOW THE OP A PERFECT UNION?

At op. If u have to base ur action on opinions sampled on the social media, all d best.

Like I always say, he who hath no sin cast the first stone.
