TippyTop:I pray so men. I hope they get better as well. We have to stop this downward spiral of our currency now. I remember when I was younger, a bottle of coke was 10 naira. Now N4,000 can't even get me to half in my car ![]() This government has to figure out a way to add value to our currency now!! |
TippyTop:Damn! Is this Zimbabwe? |
I am just coming from the petrol station where I bought N4,000 worth of petrol and my gauge didn't even get to the half marker point ![]() I used to be able to fill up for between 4k - 4.8k when my fuel warning light starts showing. Would probably need like 8k now to fill up. This is no laughing matter. |

Well, they are just following fasholas blue print for his 78 million naira personal website. Have you guys even seen that Fashola site Total trash, with updates like once a week, or a month. So they can chase out the former aviation minister for spending 250 million on bullet proof rides, but they are okay with spending almost a billion on a common website bah ![]() Not like the website will be interactive like Facebook, or even nairaland. It will just be a site were you go and read info. All that for almost a billion, chain! APC, I hail men, I fvcking salute u guys |
Electric cars and solar panels seem to be the way out for long suffering Nigerians. Now that prices for both are dropping, I think its time a large percentage of Nigeria's begin to adopt these new technologies, to cushion themselves against the constant petrol and electricity crisis.

TheNonce:Shouldn't we all be witnessing a revolution of sorts in the way of doing things, if indeed this fight against corruption is true? There is corruption everywhere and you need holistic measures that permeate all areas of society, if indeed this fight against corruption is to be thorough. We always complain that foreigners write that Nigeria is corrupt and those foreigners often cite bribery cases involving police, customs, e.t.c So we can't overlook the everyday society. The Major pillars for a developed society are education, security, power and healthcare and in Nigeria, they are all corrupt. Teachers still corrupt, police still corrupt, even hospitals are corrupt. I am not seeing any holistic approach, just a fight against a few perceived enemies. Is this a holistic approach? We keep hearing daily news about Saraki, but we all know why he is being prosecuted. I am fine with him going to jail, one down I know, but what about the others? One down and how many million to go? Where is the holistic approach? |
suyamasta:No disrespect, but how many 'almajiri' are out there working hard like the Chinese? Population control is essential to development and if one must have a large population, them that population had better be productive. Family planning shouldn't be frowned upon. In Nigeria, you'd see a woman with 7 kids begging on the street and she may even be pregnant with yet another kid. How does this population spur growth? |
I always hear that buhari is fighting corruption, but yet our institutions are still corrupt; police, customs... For instance, if I was made the President and state police wasn't effected yet which I would try to do, I will at least start with using technology to hinder police corruption. In the U.S, most Police vehicles have dash cameras and microphones to help keep them somewhat accountable. So in essence, the victim can argue in court based on footage from the police video. Its like when my uncle would always complain of his truck driver stealing his money by not buying the right amount of diesel and other mischievous acts. To counter this, he installed a camera and tracker on the truck, so he could monitor both the drivers and the route they took, checking for any route deviations. What I see is the prosecution of a few people like Saraki for instance, whose only crime it seems, was taking the senate presidency for himself against wishes of his party. How is Buhari building strong institutions? At the airport, officials still smile and ask you for bribe and nothing seems to be done about this, no sting undercover operations, nothing. So are we all okay if only the likes of Saraki go to jail, yet all our institutions are still corrupt? You can hardly go to the U.S and offer custom officials 20 dollars to let your stockfish enter, as that may spell major doom for you for bribing an official, but here it still happens with glee till this day. Again I ask, how is Buhari fighting corruption? |
When you say "anything", do you mean like restructuring the country? Or do you simply mean killing everybody that doesn't want to be under Nigeria anymore? |
Shit makes me so mad men. I remember my Power 101 class in Electrical Engineering and the first source of power they mentioned was coal. Good ol' reliable coal. How can almost all your power plants be gas fired, isn't that insanity ![]() How would vandals vandalize coal pipelines ![]() Oh wait, there are no coal pipelines you dumb murrafvckers ![]() |
Why can't we do shhh right in this country ![]() Did you guys see how many gas power plants he listed Am I the only one that saw that![]() So we have like 90% gas powered plants and 10% hydro powered plants and that's it smhSo no coal ![]() Even the U.S has about 40% coal powered plants, but here we just have our coal doing nothing ![]() So what happens when you repair the gas pipelines for like 3 months and someone blows it all up in just 1 day Back to square one I guess, not so![]() Dumb murrrafvckers, mtcheew ![]()
|
TonyeBarcanista:Like when this same man, Adesina said: "THOSE COMPLAING ABOUT NO ELECTRICITY SHOULD GO AND FIGHT PIPELINE VANDALS" Just imagine that shhh ![]() Now, they come and tell us that they feel our pain.Ask him why he is not with ak47 now in the Delta jungle. Maybe cause they run his gen 24/7, mtcheew |
tuale4u:Left no stone unturned u say ![]() Someone that can't even find the stones ![]() Wasn't it buhari that told a foreign reporter that she knew more about the budget than he did Yet here you are talking about "no stone unturned".Y'all are funny man! |
Ordinary budget signing causing jubilation ![]() Do you see the point now why some guy opened a thread asking why blacks act like animals ![]() Ordinary budget for crying out loud. Sorry to say, but it seems most Nigerians are just illiterate. I hope they removed the BMW cars and the 120 million naira website. Dumb nigggahs errwhere ![]() |
AAinEqGuinea:Bravo! Bravo! Like why would I inherently hate black people My own kind No way! However, our track record is one that inspires hate in me.I myself hate generalisations, but sometimes, when you want to look at a situation from a birds eye view, groupings would be unavoidable. Forget the black groups everywhere else like U.S and co and focus in on the biggest black group, Nigeria. Would I be wrong for saying that we have gotten it wrong ![]() I keep saying this on all my threads, but I'm going to say it again. WE DONT HAVE ELECTRICITY IN 2016!!! If that shhh don't make a person sad, then I really can't relate with such a person ![]() Yet, the biggest black grouping would boast to other black groups, claiming such a title as "Giant of Africa", smh Nigeria should prove me wrong for a start, that most blacks don't behave pike animals, until then, mtcheew ![]() |
carboblanko:Its been one year now and we haven't seen much diversification and even the forecasted plans to diversify, which include ideas such as masquerade dressing, aren't really awe inspiring. One has to hope sha! |
mekaboy:Damn! Its like ur in my head, with that ur comment. EPP me ask that Excuser ![]() |
obailala:I'm not even here to argue, but I just want to ask you one simple question: WHY ARE THEY THERE ![]() As in, why are they in government if you feel its okay to just be listing all our problems everyday, without working on them. We might as well be on auto pilot, no ![]() That's how Adesina blatantly said that those complaining about power should go fight pipeline vandals ![]() So now you feel proud saying scarcity, scarcity, scarcity abi So what is the solution then Or did we elect this government to just simply state all our problems![]() |
ephi123:Solution, divide the country ![]() |
This looks like a job for SUPERMAN!! |
Reyginus:Always pointing at white man like some cry baby!! bish nigggahs, mtcheew ![]() |
Reyginus:How many in all ![]() I also don't know why or how our skin color comes into play, I can only make deductions from what I see and I see that the biggest black nation, is a big black shiithole. |
Horus:My nigggah, fvck all that shhht U don't have common electricity in 2016 and ur talking about white people sabotaging you ![]() |
Reyginus:You don't have electricity in 2016 and you are here talking trash ![]() Your country men elected not only a man that has ruled before, but one that wasa former coupist and dictator. mtcheew ![]() |
Just drive on lekkie eppe and you'll spot too many crazy folks. Observe how people use the roundabouts in that area. You have three lanes on the straight sections of lekki epe and also three lanes at each roundabout. If you are on the middle lane on the straight section approaching the roundabout, then you should remain on the middle lane at the roundabout. If you are on the extreme left or right lanes on the straight section approaching the roundabout, then you should maintain those lanes respectively. However, you'd see almost all cars trying to go as straight as possible on getting to that roundabout. That shhhht drives me crazy yo!!! Even cool cars like Benz's n BMWs still drive like animals there. Do you know just how many scratches occur at that section due to plain foolishness? What is difficult again in maintaining your lane at the roundabout? Simple example: I'd be on the extreme left lane and when I approach the roundabout, I stay on the extreme left lane at the roundabout as well. However, you could have like some danfo that was on the extreme right lane before approaching the roundabout, but as soon as he hits the roundabout, he stars swerving all the way into my lane(the extreme left). Like why would you do that? You have like the middle and right lanes at the roundabout free, but yet, you abandon all that free space to try to drive me into the curb on the extreme left. Even when some sections have clear lane markings for how to turn properly, people just zig zag anyway they want and when you correct them, they start cursing you. Shhhh pisses me off men!! There is no fvcking law and order in this country men and if there is no law and order, then what separates us from animals? |
