Yup. In NYC, you'll get a fine.
https://freshpatrol.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/No-honking-sign.jpg

I actually never use my horn, ever. On the rare occasion when I would want use my horn, I actually forget to do it, and by the time I remember, the moment has passed anyway.

It can be done. But really, the government should focus on driver's education and traffic enforcement, and the car horning will reduce as a side effect. It seems like Lagos is always focusing on the side effects rather than the root cause. Like the "no drying your clothes outside" law, instead of making it possible for citizens to use electric clothing dryers. Or placing public wastebins, and coordinating public garbage collection instead of having a "cleaning day".
WELL SAID LIKE A TRUE DIASPORAN

A HUGE PERCENTAGE OF THESE HORN BLARERS ARE NOT EVEN LEGALLY LICENSED TO DRIVE

The answers to your first 2 questions are yes and yes. May seem unbelievable, but if you have ever lived for a period of time outside Nigeria, you will understand.
The enlightenment part is what I can't vouch for, but if LASG can keep this up, perhaps even dedicate one day in every month to observe a "no horn" day, the trend will gradually catch on, until it becomes a part of the driving culture here.

The key word is PATIENCE.
Many people tap the horn button for no good reasons: saying hello to a friend while driving by, trying to get the attention of roadside hawkers, letting the driver ahead of you know that he's too slow for your liking...the list is as endless as it is unnecessary. Almost everyone on Lagos roads go through moments of madness between the hours of 6am till 11am, then from 5pm till about 10pm. We are all in a hurry to get to work, and then get home afterwards. These irritating horn sounds peak within these periods and it can be very annoying.
cart before the horse methinks. mentally we aren't prepared. physically there are reasons why people horn....then psychologically...... huh

This is not lust.

TV/MoviesRe: Kunle Afolayan's OCTOBER 1: Critic's Review by ladej(m): 11:32am On Oct 02, 2014
adioolayi: Constructive criticism is good...as good as it is, I will only ask the writer to tell us one film he/she has directed, produced or acted before....if non, then he/she should keep his/her mouth shut!
GUY...........critics make a living from criticising. the world's best movie critics (think Roger Ebert & the like), http://www.rogerebert.com/ ARE not directors, producers or actors

But they do not need to be to criticise great work, or applaud it as the case may be

We all need criticising, if only to improve. It also saves you money if someone with more film knowledge tells you not to waste your time (rightly or wrongly)

So to re-iterate my point, the OP doesn't have to direct, produce or act to share his thoughts

Why don't you watch the movie and share your thoughts when you do

CelebritiesRe: I Do Not Bleach, I Have Sun Burns – Ayo Adesanya by ladej(m): 11:22am On Sep 22, 2014
oludashmi: So you don’t bleach your skin?

No I do not bleach my skin. When you see somebody that bleaches, you will know. I have sun burns and it is not a hidden thing. I have tried a lot of things to make it fade away but it has refused and I have come to terms with it. I would never bleach my skin, a lot of people get confused about it but I don’t get bothered. I don’t owe anybody an explanation but when you meet me in person, you can always make up your mind.

What is your take on people that bleach their skin?

Some people are naturally fair and the weather in Nigeria is terrible, it is just recently that we have been experiencing cool weather. The sun is usually very hot and it is bad for the skin. For someone like me, a lot of people are usually confused when they see my picture. They are quick to assume things and they do not know me personally. When you see people in pictures, don’t be too quick to judge, do you know how many lights are focused on the person while taking the picture? Because of the weather in this country, there are some lotions people use to enhance their skin and make it softer. There are some lotions that are not harmful but people have some misconception. The weather is very bad and it can affect one’s skin if care is not taken. I have friends that are fair in complexion and I know what they go through to maintain their complexion. If you do not maintain it, it would appear as if your skin is dirty. I don’t believe people should bleach personally.

Some people believe that fair skinned women have an advantage over dark skinned women, do you agree with that?

I don’t agree with that. I have dark skinned friends that are very pretty. People have preferences, while some like fair skinned people, others can’t stand them. I don’t think a person’s skin colour should determine anything but their personality.

MadCow1: Very true.. Infact, there is almost no difference.

The only thing I like in Premium Economy are;

1. Individual Armrests

2. More leg room.

3. A relatively wider seat.

The Food service is the exact same thing as Economy and you get to share the same toilet with Economy. But that small comfort is way better than suffering in a squeezed position for 6 + hours.
ALMOST NO DIFFERENCE YET YOU LISTED 3 DIFFERENT THINGS grin

ADD NO4. LESS CHANCE OF A FAT SLOB DRIPPING SPIT ON YOU DURING THE FLIGHT
