I was not talking about people's expectations. It is not men that set these expectations, it is the society. So it is not about the male ego. Everybody desire respect irrespective of gender.
It is the same society that expects the man to provide, protect and sacrifice. So stop being sentimental.

The woman does not have to be submissive if she is truly bringing more to the table . If she chooses to be submissive, it will be her choice.
The only exception is if the woman is foolish. There are foolish men too.

Any lady that has clocked 24 and above and who is ready to settle down, doesn't need up to 2yrs courtship. Men/guys will do anything to deceive her that he is not yet ready, even though he keeps having s.ex with her, he wouldn't allow other guys to come near her and yet he would dump her at end of the day in her 30s. Any guy who truly in love with a lady,don't need 2 years and above to walk her to isle.

Some ladies in their late 20s will be going out with a man who has no means of income claiming l love him, where you want me to start from? How will such man take marital responsibilities? Yet you don't want long term relationship.

Sis... one thing first you’ve got to understand is this, long distance relationship isn’t meant for everyone, you have to be ready for unnecessary misunderstandings, lost of emotions also along the line... wasting a woman’s precious time is not attributed to men alone. Many of this women too don’t really know what they want in a relationship. How can a fully grown up lady at her time to settle down will be in a relationship with two to three different men in a date? And by the time to settle down comes, she will be confused on whom to settle down with. Spending 0-20 years in a relationship is not a guarantee you guys will end up spending your life’s together.

Na you have their time. They will create non-existent problems and start attacking the fantasies they create. I don't know where in Nigeria that men don't contribute to their kids upbringing aside finance. African men that are disciplinarian. Must grown up guys hardly have good rapport with their fathers and talk with their fathers with ultimate respect because of strict disciplines they got from their fathers when they were kids, especially the ones that their fathers are teachers. I still remember when I went to my friend's house some years back, I was surprised his father asked him to kneel down when he did something wrong, a 300 level student then for that matter.
We lived closed to barracks so some of my friends fathers were retired old soldiers. Whenever they narrate how their fathers beat them at home, you would be thanking God for your father.
My best friend then whenever he sighted his dad's car while we were playing ball, before you look back, my brother, the guy don disappear.
Back then whenever you did something wrong and your mother says she will report you to your father when he comes back from work, just know you are a dead meat.

These people will just create nonsense on top of their heards and start attacking it to make it look real.
