Foreign Affairs › Re: Biden Announces New Tariffs On Chinese Imports by LadyExcellency: 7:37pm On May 14, 2024
WrriterNg:
A dying empire on its last legs.

And who's the US biggest market?? China is.

China would retaliate I'm sure.
China is not US match in world politics. Religion is getting the worst part of you. Imagine choosing China to lead world affairs with communist ideology. The US made China what it is at present.

The projects the Chinese are doing in Africa and heaping debts to the grandchildren and African future is what the USA gives out as grants and aid.

Putin hopes for the US/Russia relationship to improve rather than putting his hope in the BRICS.

Looking for votes.

Simples.
Maybe a better Nigeria.
Argentina elected a new president same time we did President Tinubu and every gainsayer can see progress in every facet of Argentine society but we got it all wrong with Tinubu.
Politics › Re: Why I Donated Clay Pots, White Cloth To Graveyards – Senator Hanga by LadyExcellency: 11:21am On May 13, 2024
Papayaayasager:
What is the clay pot meant for?
Haven't you heard of "village people"

It's used in cooking for the gods as part of traditional worship. The Ashes and Clay are used as accessories for the invocation of our ancestors who never rest in peace in this part of Africa.

Suspicious almsgiving, is he a cultist?
Point of correction. Is he a traditionalist? Those are sacred items in traditional worship. Nigerian constitution recognizes this as part of our religion.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia Discovers 511 Billion Barrels Of Oil & Gas In British Antarctica (Photos) by LadyExcellency: 9:52am On May 13, 2024

Politics › Re: What Kenyans Think Of The Igbos, Yorubas And Hausa Nigeria by LadyExcellency: 4:03pm On May 12, 2024
They said the Chinese had enslaved them because of the road contracts. Unfortunately, their children and grandchildren will be paying to liquidate the cost.

China is starting to start colonizing Africa from where Europeans stopped.
TV/Movies › Re: I Have A Smart Tv, Never Knew I Was Wasting Money On Dstv by LadyExcellency: 2:26pm On May 12, 2024
Rich4god:
There is no need to argue. Get a smart TV, stream a movie on YouTube or Netflix, and then get the resolution.
I have an Android TV for them, it has DSTV and everything that is streamable (premium). Watching one football match on HD TV or 4K takes one to 1.5 GB.
Do you want them to be watching the programmes with a loose scanning raster (144px by 144px) on a very large screen?
TV/Movies › Re: I Have A Smart Tv, Never Knew I Was Wasting Money On Dstv by LadyExcellency: 12:45pm On May 12, 2024
Rich4god:
Even as a family, there is every tendency that you won't finish 40gb data in a month on streaming. And to get 40 GB, it costs an average of 10k.
My boy in primary school uses more than 40 GB of data in a month. What kind of resolution will be less than 40GB with constant streaming that is capable of replacing cable TV?
Politics › Re: Ojukwu presented The “Ibo Cause” At Aburi,Not The Cause Of Minorities In Biafria by LadyExcellency: 3:32am On May 12, 2024
gidgiddy:
I kind of laugh when I read foolish talk like this. People whom the North has since taken their resources and reduced to nothing believe that Biafra, Ojukwu, and Nnamdi Kanu are the problem.

grin grin grin grin
Imagine grown-ups being molested, deprived, and subjected to impoverished inhumane conditions despite abundant God-giving resources resorting to ad homie to mourn and wail instead of fighting for what belongs to them.

La las, Igbos are doing better and will be fine. "Our Oil" hasn't done the magic because Igbos never managed it hence I see no reason to regurgitate the events of the past that you never knew what would've been the outcome. I believe it wouldn't have been like what we have now in Niger Delta.

What a shame. If you want to play politics, do it without invoking sentiments using Igbos as a drive. This is the singular factor killing Nigeria today.

Excluding and marginalizing the Igbos have never produced a better outcome for Nigeria hence it's time to stop these foolish acts and govern for the future. This tribal politics has killed the Niger Delta and there is nothing to show for it.
Politics › Re: Why Did Our Ancestors Build Pyramids In Egypt And Sudan? by LadyExcellency: 3:04am On May 12, 2024
Using the Israelites to accomplish great things is so simple and feasible.

Oppressions of Israelites by Pharaoh

Exodus 5:6-9 CSB
That day Pharaoh commanded the overseers of the people as well as their foremen, [7] "Don't continue to supply the people with straw for making bricks, as before. They must go and gather straw for themselves. [8] But require the same quota of bricks from them as they were making before; do not reduce it. For they are slackers-that is why they are crying out, 'Let us go and sacrifice to our God.' [9] Impose heavier work on the men. Then they will be occupied with it and not pay attention to deceptive words."

RAF Lakenheath, RAF Croughton, RAF Welford, RAF Fairford, RAF Feltwell, RAF Upwood, RAF Barford St John, RAF Blenheim Crescent, RAF Fylingdales, RAF Menwith Hill, RAF Mildenhall, RAF Alconbury and RAF Molesworth.

What a myopic submission. I haven't used the 2nd Niger Bridge before and don't know what it looks like notwithstanding criss-crossing Eastern Nigeria.

Is the road for South-south people? I thought it was for easy movement of goods and people.
Most of the roads in Northern Nigeria are used far more by Igbo and Yoruba merchants than 50% of people from Northern Nigeria.

The grade is a matter of result not assumption. Stop defending out of context. Example: If you are a minister for power, has electricity generation and distribution improved?

So basically, they're just asking for the CBN to clarify the correct percentage to be deducted.

They not asking for the policy to be stopped.

Afterall, it was the same House of Rep and Senate that passed the Cyber Security Act into law.

This lot is just pretending to be shocked.
NSA is not a revenue-collecting agency. The NSA should not spend any money outside of its approved budget by the National Assembly.

sonofsteven:
It happens everywhere

Each state government has the right to it especially when you are caught committing crimes or being a menace
Most of the Southeast people in Lagos State were born and bred in Lagos State, they have not contributed to their native State since birth. Just because your father told you, "You be Ibo" doesn't warrant the Governor sending him to the East. He belongs to Lagos State, his place of birth and life.

Why not place an advert on the train so that thriving businesses can advertise on the trains?
One of the trains in Lagos does have a design of Indomie all over, and you can't even tell if the train is old or new. Some big companies in those areas could pay and paint and maintain each of the coaches with their brands.
How many Primary Schools have they renovated, painted, and placed adverts in your community?

Politics › Re: Why Do Nigerians Look Up To Mr. President And Forget About Their Governors? by LadyExcellency: 3:46pm On May 06, 2024
Most of Nigeria's problems are on the exclusive list. The States are just appendages of the Federal Government.

Nigeria is not running a true federation.

In the USA, the FG and the States are always in Court battling one policy or the other but not so in Nigeria.

Lanretoye:
If the highway ready make una no pass there abeg.
People are talking about the cost and economic wastage. As a father, you plan your family. You don't leave the children's school fees and feeding to start a new building project when the house you are living in has a leaking roof, and broken doors and windows. You don't tell the wife and children to shut up and don't sleep in the new house whenever you finish it. This is a ridiculous statement.

I remember not a long time ago when all these rodents feasted on Dr. Oby Ezekwesili for criticizing Nigeria Air and when she was all out against Emefiele during Buhari's administration. She was insulted beyond measure by unfortunate political goons and louts but today, we know the truth.

This same Premium Times that reported Peter Obi’s criminality as Anambra Governor. Obidients will choose to support this Premium Times write-up but not the one against their messiah.
Are you human or something else? The issue of national interest is under discussion by all parties involved and you there make it a kitchen gossip and tribal matter?
Shit, shame on you. Nigeria will never move forward with this mentality.

The constant reminder to sycophants, the people deserve accountability.
Properties › Re: 80% Of Lekki Buildings Have No Approval, Says LASG by LadyExcellency: 7:08am On May 06, 2024
Mynd44:
But why is it that when government moves to demolish the owners don't present such approval and documents?

Or since last year have you heard of any home owner taking the state government to court to enforce their rights? Why? Is it because they have no approvals?

Nigerian estate developers will willingly and knowingly buy land designated for farmland, turn it into an estate, and start selling and they say in the background that "government can't demolish, the worst is to ratify"

Ikorodu is another one. They have sold all the farmlands there for private houses.
There's nothing like designating land for the farm. That language is ridiculous. It is a land-grabbing scheme.
