Darhmee: Hi guys.. so here was how it started.. I did the visa lottery for myself as the principal and my mom as the principal back then. So when my mom won, the only the only thing i have was the confirmation number.. i wasnt sure if i registered my dad and my siblings with her but with faith, we continued the processing. My dad didn't want to go with us because he has businesses he is running here in NIgeria and also, my older brother is over-aged. So, i and my mom decided to do the processing for just the both of us.Congratulations |
Darhmee: VISA APPROVED FOR I AND MY MOM THIS MORNING.. THANK u Jesus.. Thank u guys.. Full details comin soonCongratulations,go and live your yankee dreams. CHEERS |
Darhmee: hi guys.. im at the npc place for attestation of birth an theysaid it take 2 weeks to process.. its sad that nobody made mention of that when I wa making enquiries here.. and our interview is in 5 days.. what will we do?The only thing you can do now is to let them know the importance of it to you,i think begging will solve half of it but Nigerian way of settling civil servant will be most ideally now, wish you best of luck. komakan: Kennex, USA are not doing anything wrong to Nigerians d reason is best known to them. If U check last year December Bulletin it was 8500 and January/ February 2013 was 10000 before it was increased to 11000 in March and 17000 in April. From dis assessment we still hv hope. It is not how long but how well. Goodluck!Good talk Komakan,i dont know why some peps are too anxiuos,is it your doing that you are selected out of those that entered for the lottery, just give thanks to Almighty God and be prayerful that your interview date should come and be granted the visa, please forumites that are awaiting the bulletin update every month, please lets PATIENCE be our watchword, i strongly believe that our interview date will aslo come and our visas granted, and to forumites that have been granted the visa, congratulations, Allah will see you through as you are all preparing for your journey, and forumites that are awaiting interview, Allah will be with you through out the time of the interview. kevwe_flex: In addition to other contributions which may be above, If you are outside the U.S. for more than 12 months, you will need to show additional documentation to re-enter the U.S. as a permanent resident. Permanent residents who leave the United States for extended periods, or who cannot show their intent to live permanently in the U.S., may lose their permanent resident status. Many immigrants believe they can liveKomakan & Lagdude are separate entity, @Kevwe_flex,just curious:why did you ask? |

@Komakan, here is an answer from Visa Officer on a thread on nairaland to you question. Greetings! If the DV winner follows that pattern of behavior for too long, eventually s/he will lose his Legal Permanent Resident status. Any LPR who remains outside the U.S. for more than a year will lose LPR status, and may not get it back. Any LPR who's been outside the U.S. for less than a year may be denied entry at the border, even if s/he has a valid travel document, Having a visa or LPR card just allows a person to travel to the U.S.; s/he still has to convince Customs & Border Patrol (CBP) to let him/her in. CBP has much more freedom than (for instance) I do to just say no to people. Green cards are for people who intend to reside in the U.S., not for people who intend to visit once a year. Hope this helps! |
Zeleez: Thank God for a successful interview, VISA approved today. interview experience shortly.Congratulations bro, awaiting your interview experience CHEERS |
Good morning V.O,how was your weekend and the family, please if a DV winner that has travelled to the states got his/her green card and decided to come back to his/her home country but visit the states once a year, will the person still retain the green card or will forfeit it. Nice week ahead. THANKS & CHEERS |
walcolm: Airtel or glo are thé two networks that allow the regular bis to work on BlackBerry 10 devicesThanks boss, like how man gigabyte will 1 get on airtel bis for a month for bb10 device. Thanks and cheers |
@walcolm,please I need to know the network that will be good to use for BB Q5,am presently using mtn on my present bb,is it advisable to use mtn on it or switch to another network, learnt that one has to subscribe 3k for bb10 before one can have access to bbm, web, skype and the likes.please need clarification. Thanks and cheers |
VisaOfficer: Diversity Visas are good for six months (unless there's a reason to limit them, which happens very rarely and is usually related to the expiration date om the medical paperwork). It's best to use them while they're valid; to get a new Diversity Visa, you have to pay the fees again, get new meds, etc. And if you wait until after Sept. 30, we can't reissue them anyway. No visas for the 2014 DV season can be issued after September 30, 2014.Thanks for your response V.O,but you are yet to help with the 2nd question that is on a general visa issued by your consulate, want to know the exact expiration month of the visa if it is 6months and issued on say 29th October,2013.please dont get crossed with my question just arguing with someone and need to get the real fact. Thanks and cheers |
Hi V.O,good work you are doing right here, may the good Lord continue to bless you. Is it possible for a DV winner to renew his visa after the expiration of 6months and how do you count it if someone is issued a visa say on 29th of October, when is the exact expiration of the visa for the DV winner. thanks and cheers |
