Nothing justifies these demolitions except the wicked heart of a black man. Most of these lands were acquired when those places are swampy and forests and these people developed it into estates only to come many years later and bring it down.
why not tell them to pay fines and make the whole process smooth and transparent before commencing demolition. Another thing also is that Lagos state govt is full of land grabbers, they move around choice estates and demolish houses only to allocated those same lands to themselves. Whether u have documents or not it doesn't matter. They'll still win you in court.

None of those is true. How come we get the same documents for individual houses? I don't work in alauda but I can tell you the real people behind these problems . They are silent whenever evil befalls their client and even pacify some that that how government works.

If you have you papers complete and genuine, no government official I respect no government will demolish your house and in cases where it is necessary to do same , they will request for your title documents and compensate you accordingly.

When architects, engineer and surveyors are left out of site and jobs given to I have experience in building structures or my padi works in alausa. Don't mind those professionals they love money too much that is the result.

So when you give a land surveyor money to do you the survey, it is incumbent on him to inquire for you what conditions such land is presently, is it a government acquired land or air marked for future road expansion etc. (it's called chatting of the land) hold him responsible if he fails to declare the status of the land.

Get an architect to do you a proper design with proper set backs and ask him to take it for approval himself and pay all the necessary dues. Hold him responsible for any infraction to building permit misdocumentation.

Linda Ihebinike's brazen attempt to deposit 90,000 Naira of fake 1000 Naira notes through the POS system raised suspicions when Ihebinike seemed in a hurry, eager to complete the transaction before making a swift exit to withdraw "official" notes elsewhere.

However, the alert POS operator, who was processing the transaction, immediately recognized the counterfeit notes upon inspection. Sensing the gravity of the situation, the POS operator discreetly signaled to a colleague, initiating a rapid response from security personnel and local law enforcement.

Upon arrival, officers confirmed the authenticity of the fake currency, leading to the prompt arrest of Linda Ihebinike.

The Police, further investigation confirmed that the 1000 Naira notes were indeed counterfeit. Linda Ihebinike was immediately taken into custody for attempting to defraud the business using fake currency.

In a statement to the press, SP Benjamin Hundeyin emphasized that the Lagos State Police are actively investigating the matter, urging businesses and individuals to remain vigilant against such criminal activities.
