booqee: the death of my immediate elder bro six months ago. It was painful cos thats the first time i'd experience d death of a really close loved one. Worse still is the fact dat he was very healthy two days b4 he died. Common purging?! Who could've believed it was just purging dat led to his death?! Its still fresh and painful cos no one expected death for such a thing. To worsen the case, he's my birthday mate. My first ever. Rip b.j
Sorry about that..... embarassed

Car Talk › Re: How Can One Use The Tiptronic Gear Transmission?? by Lagusta(op): 5:14pm On Sep 24, 2013
ZIM DRILL: simple in tiptronic mode you just tap the shifter either UP (+) or DOWN (-)

If you are in gear 2 and tap UP (+) if shifts to gear 3 repeat the same for higher gears

for shifting down tap DOWN (-) eg from 4th gear to 3rd
Thank you sir, no need to release your foot from the throttle......
Car Talk › How Can One Use The Tiptronic Gear Transmission?? by Lagusta(op): 10:51am On Sep 24, 2013
Most new cars with auto tranny usually have the tiptronic transmission installed with it. I believe it is an alternative that allows the driver to engage gears manually, by tipping the lever upwards to increase gears and downwards to decrease it.....

Now the question: since there is no clutch, how do we shift gearshuh Or do we use the button on the gear lever to shifthuh

Car gurus and petrol-headshuh?

Dr lomaxx, Dr. Alutacontinua, there is one very important issue you guys fail to add always...... PRAYER!!!!!!!

you can never make it as a medical student without God on your side, Christian or Muslim.....

I once had a classmate who was so brilliant, he was the overall best student while he was in the polytechnic, he gained admission to study geology, but his passion for medicine drove him wild..... however he was given anatomy..

But that didn't stop him, he crossed over to medicine (Cos of his terribly high GPA )... in the end, he repeated the 2nd year and was withdrawn in the third. Year,,,,,,,,

What's the pointhuh? Look at me, I am not as stuffy as lomaxx, but by God's blessings, mercy and favour, I scaled through all the bitter years of medical school.....

peeps, always put God first, never be proud to others, always respect your seniors and lecturers, read well, attend classes and practicals, form group discussions, but PRAY PRAY AND PRAAAAAAAAAYYYY!!!!!!

I'll be back, this nurse wants to kiss me.... undecided

lomaxx: Definition: Love is defined as a state of emotional allure characterised by acute to chronic feelings of affection for the opposite or same gender.

Aetiology
The cause of love is unknown. However, different studies have linked phenotypic features like financial ability, sweet voice, pretty face, firm mammaries, protuding gluteus, smooth hands, nice smell and [s] ability to talk your way into her pants [/s]

Epidemiology
Love occurs worldwide. Widespread incidence across all continents with no geographic predisposition.

It is prevalent in both urban and rural areas.

Occurs in all ages and sex - but higher incidence between 12 and 48 years. Occurs in male and females equally with no genetic predisposition.

However, males have a higher rate of progression than females. grin High risk population are students grin

Pathophysiology
The aetiopathogenetic pathway of love starts from a visual impulse detected by the eye which forms an image of the female on the retina.

This leads to widespread activation of the autonomic nervous system. Parasympathetic activation leads to a transient decrease in heart rate, drooling, and an erec.tile response. grin grin

Subsequent activation of the sympathetic nervous system leads to increased heart rate, sweaty palms and bladder wall relaxation and increased glucose availability via gluconeogenesis and glycogenolysis. Muscles now acquire energy via ATP to move towards the direction of stimilus.

Hello's are said, interest is declared and phone numbers are exchanged which will lead to a date and subsequent strategy for exchange of body fluids grin grin

Clinical features
Transient tarchycardia, sweaty palms, urinary incontinence, drooling, itchy palms, priapism grin

Diagnosis
Love is a clinical diagnosis.

Treatment
It is a self-limiting disease. Patient is advised to allow the disease to run it's full course. cool No definitive treatment.

Prognosis
Positive prognostic factors are diverse for both gender.

For males, best prognostic markers are : money, money, money. angry angry angry

Temporary but good prognostic markers with sweet mouth, good lovemaking skills and caring heart

For females: best prognosis markers with good IQ,good sense of humour, beauty, protruding but appropriate gluteus, heavenly mammaries wink wink

Poor prognosis for females are : flat pectoral region, flat gluteus, hyperactive mouth and poor IQ. angry angry
After now, people will say I am stuffy.....

Alutacontinua really deserves you......
