@Op, Thanks for this your attempt, may Almighty Allah grant you more wisdom. |
State Government should be able to pay. They should do whatever they needed to do to comply. If need be, cut down on the unnecessary large political appointees and the spends on their various assemblies. An last option should be to cut down on the size of the state civil services. They should also find ways of increasing their internally generated revenues. They can do these by scrapping free educations at secondary school and university levels. Introduce part levies for secondary schools and full tuition for the universities. For their various universities, they can introduce subsidy for in-state students to lessen the burden on their various electorate and tax payers. They can also introduce subsidy for children of civil servants. Any state government not able to pay should throw-in the towel or even seek for merger with their neighbor states. That's what happens in private sector. Companies that goes bankrupt are taken over by other companies or get merged with others. |
Oh Gosh may God punish all these ritualists and wicked people |
But, wetin concerns Secondary schools principals with a primary school feeding program. Also, the government have made it clear that since the food is meant for the kids, only the Parents associations will be involved and not the school authorities who have been known to extort these parents and kids. |
Good. They should expedite the trial of this case please. |

There is freedom of religion in this country. In as much as it is in their religion to wear scarf, they should be allowed.! The school is funded by tax payer's fund as part of UI, and the principal salary is funded by everyone's tax, irrespective of their religion. The principal seems to be one of those fundamentalist Crusaders. She needs to be very careful, otherwise, she may lose her job. |
Thank God IBB is not claiming this to be an Assassination attempt |
Thumbs up to PMB on this |
naptu2:Most of us that were adult during Abiola's life knew that he is greta. And his greatness and dispute with Fela does not reduce from Fela's greatness either. Had both of them lived long, they would have reconciled eventually. In truth, no great man is a saint. No single man is without his blemish. Mahathir the great of Malaysia, who is the father of modern Malaysia and the initiator of " Malaysia Boleh" (Malaysia, We can) slogan is still alive today. He had an epic battle with his deputy prime mister then, Anwar, and set him up for fraud and sodomy. Anwar was jailed and lost all political relevance then. Anwar came out from prison and set up an opposition party. Mahathir left political scene in 2003 or so. Last year, Mahathir came back to politics at 92 years of age and joined Anwar's party, because the prime minister, on his former parties platform, who was his mentee in 2003 has been accused of corruption. To cut it short, Anwar's party won election this year and made Mahathir the prime minister again. But Anwar is still currently in prison on his third spell of conviction on sodomy. Now Mahathir believed Anwar is innocent and has recommended his pardon to the King. Anwar's wife is now the deputy prime minister. So, moral of the story is that, there is no permanent enemy in politics And saints don't play it either. But haven said that, great men still exists, notwithstanding their imperfection. Imperfect as he is, Abiola is a great man by all ramification.! |

And they represent just a few percentage of Christians in the country. Majority of Christians are off social media just like majority of Muslims. How the haters get to congregate on this forum amazes me. But never mind, they have only refuse stop wailing since 2015. And they will still wail in 2019 even though they will win hands down on social media as usual. The truth is that majority of employed Nigerians are farmers and this government works for farmers!.. Social media wailers can continue to wail. Tanimuabk: |
You guys would not even allow a Muslims girl to decorate herself with hijab! Is it to now decorate a jointly owned government house you will accept! TerrorSquad147: |
Allah SWT asked us not to even abuse the idols of the idol worshippers. So that they will not abuse Allah in return. The RSV ,in its preface to its 1971 edition, has this to say about the KJV: "Yet the King James Version has grave defects. By the middle of the nineteenth century, the development of Biblical studies and the discovery of many manuscripts more ancient than those upon which the King James Version was based, made it manifest that these defects are so many and so serious as to call for revision of the English translation. The task was undertaken, by authority of the Church of England, in 1870. The English Revised Version of the Bible was published in 1881-1885; and the American Standard Version, its variant embodying the preferences of the American scholars associated in the work, was published in 1901." |
The move by FGN is a good one to stifle those criminals that have our money fraudulently. Most people have complained only about those abroad who have not been able to do BVN. The court directive actually made provision for them. The court said, all such accounts should be advertised by the banks and anyone that has legitimate reasons should present its reasons and show cause why his/her account should not be forfeited. This cause can easily be shown with an affidavit from which ever country you are in or a Notarized statement asserting that the said account belongs to you and that you have not been able to come home for the BVN since 2014 or 2015. You can also make a Notary statement at the embassy in your country of residence and send same to your bank!. But this account name must have to tally with your Nigerian passport.! or you have to also say in the affidavit why the difference in name, like marriage or change of name documentation as well. If you are not willing or unable to show cause not to forfeit the money in the account, then you probably deserve to lose the money. |
Liar, This country has Fayose that has consistently wished the President dead not even in picture alone but in direct speech! A Nigerian call his dogs by president's name and he won his case in court. Let's not over sensationalize the power of Government in Nigeria. uzoclinton: |
Kudos to the government on this. Credit access has improved with all the initiatives to make low interest loan available to the SME from special purpose institution and schemes like BOI and CBN backed initiatives for farmers and SME. |
This is good news. Government actions and deliberate policies is yielding fruits. |
If she has no case to answer in UK. She knows how she got to UK, she should come home by herself too. To come and clear her name. She should not involve the FGN on her coming back as they were not the one that sent her to UK. |
Good development. All the government actions are yielding fruits, slow but steadily, we will get to the promised land. Even if the hater no want... |
He has disbelieved, he who calls Jesus (peace be upon him) Lord without an iota of evidence!. Rather, He, God is one, He begets not nor was He begotten. No Mother, nor father and He is Everlasting. davidodiba: |

Angel was 13 when her mother forced her to marry and start a family. "I felt like a slave," she says of her childhood. While countries like Zimbabwe, Malawi and El Salvador have recently banned child marriage, it remains legal in the US - and half of states have no set minimum age below which you cannot get married. For the BBC's America First? series the BBC's Aleem Maqbool is exploring health and social issues where the US, the richest country in the world, does not perform well in international rankings.
