Go for DNA test with the sample of your dad and the one you called mum (step mum) . This will help you to confirm that your dad is your paternal dad. Looking alike is not a proof. And it will also clear the doubts about your step mom. At least to confirm she is not your blood. Hope there is no incest involved. You will also need to do DNA even to confirm who ever you eventually is told to be your biological mother. God will be with you. |
Tolu's father is a retired Airforce man. I am sure he would have been briefed and given details of all these information that Gani's is vituperating about. Tolu is not Gani's subject neither is he her next of kin. Tolu is not even from the Oyo Empire of the mumu Are ona kakanfo. She is from Kogi. If Tolu's father is not bothered by these questions Gani's little brain should have told him to keep cool. Gani Adams is an overrated illiterate tout. |
How did you know she was killed by a single person. And do you know the situation she was when attacked. Do you expect her to defend herself while sleeping against the perpetrator or even a group of bad boys or girls. Mustiboy: |
We are used to this in Rivers State |
How can a company that has 44 staff be talking of sacking 8000 people.? The waste management company doesn't even know how many scavengers supply them wastes as people just come to sell wastes (plastics and other recyclables) per weights to them. So if about 8000 people comes to sell per month, it doesn't make them your staff. Secondly, it claimed it stopped operation since February. How come! Covid didn't start in that state in February and no lock down until April.! |
Waoh This gargantuan stealing. This one na the emperor of stealing. Stealing with a difference. I hope this is not the cause of our Governor's clash with anything FG. And he is using federal workers as porn in the game. |
You just like to argue for arguments sake. When you are wrong, it becomes difficult to admit it. A simple post of an event and you started twisting up and down. The post is simple and self explanatory. It's also on the main media already. The plane was granted a permit to fly a humanitarian flight and it was caught doing commercial in contravention or our law. Yet your hatred will not let you keep quiet if you don't have anything to say. Every thing to you must be Nigerian government at fault and it must be spinned to become a Buhari bashing. Some of you will still rant and abuse Buhari even if he makes you CBN governor or Finance minister. Myhusband: |

Africans are dying disproportionately in the US Covid-19 crisis. So it may be better to come back to Nigeria for now and hide in your village till the deaths blow by. |

She gave birth to Chris who is 30 when she herself was 14!. And no noise about it. If na Naija, people will be shouting up and down. |
This is a good gesture. I hope most rich men will come out to help in this period of need. Nigeria as a country is poor but we have some rich men. We need to come out and help each other. Also people who can afford to feed themselves should not go and struggle with this rice with the poor who really needs it. |
CONGREGATION SERVICES IS NOT BANNED IN BAUCHI. JUMAT AND CHURCH SERVICES CONTINUES OVER THERE UNTIL WHEN STATE GOVERNMENT DIRECT OTHERWISE |
THIS IS NOT BY HERDSMEN. NO EVIDENCE THAT THERE WAS ANY HERDSMEN AROUND THAT PLACE TO EVEN WARRANT THE NEWS THAT IT WAS CARRIED OUT BY HERDSMEN. A politician in Rivers State !. first culprit is cultism or political killing. |
wiseoneking:Yes, you are right but no single governor that dethroned a truly first class by tradition Oba or even insulted them has gone unscathed. 1. Alaafin Adeyemi in 1955 insulted by Bode Thomas, (a cabinet member of Awo) and dethroned due to this. Bode Thomas ran mad and barked till his death. The curse on Awo by the king when he left Oyo for Lagos was that Awo will net get to the office he cherishes and if he gets it he will regret it. The Kabieesi Ladigbolu that took over after him went blind. His son is the current Alaafin. The current Alaafin was insulted by Governor Akala and Akala is now history in today's politics. 2. Awujale Adetona was deposed by Chief Bisi Onabanjo, he was reinstated by the Court on the 4th of May, 1984. He outlived Onabanjo. 3.Olowo of Owo – Oba Olateru Olagbegi II Unarguably the richest and most influential Olowo of Owo town in Ondo state, Oba Olateru became Olowo in 1941 and reigned till 1966 when he took side with Chief S.L Akintola against Chief Awolowo who was his ally. Of a fact, Awolowo Action Group party was founded right inside Olowo palace and Owo for years experienced political and kingship battle, which came to a climax in 1966 following a cold blooded coup with many properties and lives lost in the course. The people of Owo revolted their King and sent him away on exile where he lived for another 27yrs, and his stool was taken over by Oba Ogunoye. At the demise of Ogunoye, Olateru was reappointed as the new Olowo of Owo in 1993 and spent another 5yrs on the throne till he died in 1998. His eldest son, took over from him in 1999 and reigned for 20yrs. He outlived Awo who died in 1987. 4. Dethroning a first class Oba or even an Emir seems to have effect on the perpetrators. Sadauna who dethroned many kings in the north died a horrific death. May his soul rest in peace. Awolowo lost premiership to Akintola and never became president which he so much coveted. He also lost a son while imprisoned. Many of the Obas and Kings no be ordinary eye dem dey take do am oo. |
Even if a leader is younger, as a Yoruba man you give respect to the position of leadership or ruler ship by prostrating. The yorubas also prostrate for old age. So even if one does not agree with Buhari's leadership style' his old age takes prostrating for. FFK is I'll mannered in Yoruba culture for this his ranting. |
Who join you to form madness. How does what someone else wants to wear affects you. Skirts is for women in this country. And NYSC is a paramilitary service. Even for the military, some are allowed to wear skirts. And to the hijab, that's what obtains in decent developed climes. The Sikhs are allowed to wear their turban, the muslims their hijab and the Jews their skull caps. It's a free world when it comes to religion. themonk: |

Hisbah is only applicableto thosewho profess to be Muslims, hence a non Muslimcan not take it to court as he can not proof any loss or damage to his rights or propertyfrom Hisbah's existence. More so Hisbah is non weaponized outfit similar to KAI, LASTMA and Neighbourhoodwatch. Coldie: |
Remember each state set up it's own HISBAH and Kano Hisbah is independent of Zamfara Hisbah. Only state house of assembly can set up anything like that. And Hisbah is only comparable to the neighbourhood watch of Lagos state. For our Amotekun, each state needs to set it up by its house of assembly law. andyanders: |
This is disingeiif the originator is in support of Amotekun. He should have waited for it to be backed up by the state laws first. 1.In case like this, the court will order to maintain status quo. And that is a status of no law setting up Amotekun. 2. The court will then spend 3 years to dispose the case by when it would have been solved politically. 3. The court can throw out the case as the litigan can not proof he suffers any damage by set up or not of Hisbah or Amotekun. 4. And At the end of the three years, if the case is not thrown out, the court will likely rule any set up without lethal weapons as legal if set up by the state. This will cover all the likes of KAI, TIMARIV, LASTMA, HISBAH, NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH etc And declare that states has no power to set up lethal weapons bearing security outfits. This will include CJTF, OSPAC of Rivers state etc. Where do you think this leaves Amotekun |
Amotekun will soon start clearing all this criminals from the SW |
Make them pass the bill first na. And they have to address and harmonise how the Amotekun from each state will work together. Since each house of assembly will have to pass its bill setting it up, it must really address key area of how all the six Amotekuns will relate. Hisbah from each state is stand alone and not one Hisbah for the entire north west or region. Unfortunately the SW states are not good at working together even at conflict resolution. Even when Oyo and Osun were APC states they could not resolve the LAUTECH issue. And the conflict endures till today. |
The Governors need to back this outfit with laws passed by their respective houses of assembly. All the parallels being drawn with Hisbah and CJTF will the be firm and strong. Amotekun as it is now, is sitting on nothing. No law either by the House of Assembly or by the House of Rep is backing it up. Even if the Federal government will not agree with the state governments' law setting it up at least, they will not be able to single out Amotekun. And if they try to lump all together and declare them illegal, it will fastrack the changing of the constitution to allow state police. As it is now, based on precedence from the setting up of Road Safety by the then Oyo State Government, Amotekun Hisbah and the likes of them are illegal and will be declared as such if it gets to court. Oyo state lost the case on its road safety during the time of Bola Ige as governor, The court proscribed road safety as set up by Soyinka for Oyo state then. But UPN and NPN went into political solution to come up with a Federal Road Safety that exists till today. |
Child custody are determined by court based on what the court thinks is best for the child. Although just like most countries, also in Saudi, first right of custody goes to the mother except there is a reason which makes the father better suited to serve the interest of the child. In this case the court has decided the interest of the child is best served by being under her father’s custody. Note that both parents have the right to their children custody. That’s why there is usually court cases on custody during divorce all over the world. The father also have custody rights, and that right has been given in many custody cases all over the world as well. |
Na today.. Was he not arrested before/ Wetin happen then/ Nada will happen if arrested na just noice full ya mouth. OBJ that has no constituency to defend him. Melison: |
Leave them.! how many of them are quick to castigate a whole tribe because of their hatred for one single person, only to support another one of the same tribe. ATIKU is a Fulani like Buhari, either way, both PDP and APC are the same in support of Fulanis. Many are calling for a RWANDA in Nigeria and when it eventually happens, they are the ones to pay dearly for it. Both Buhari and Atiku are not likely to be affected. pappilo: |
This is a real herdsmen story. Not all those cock and bull story of herdsmen without cows. Now, get these guys and use them to make example for other violent herdsmen who are fast to stab for their cows after destroying a farmers livelihood. |
When will Atiku Lawyers start calling on their so called incontrovertible witnesses and evidence in court. So far they have not called a single consistent witness that has not contradicted himself or discredited in court |
ISI is owned by UI not a Christian school. Innogee: |
ISI is a federal government school owned by UI and not formed by any religion. All Government schools in OYO state allows the hijab for Muslim girls who wants it. ISI can not favor or be seen to be favoring one religion over others. It has to be in line with all other government (federal or state) owned schools. The case is back in court and hijab has never lost in court.! It is only sad Muslims has to go to court every time to enforce their fundamental human right being denied by some fundamentalist Christians. favinvest: |
ISI will lose in court. Hijab right has never lost in court. It is a religious right and a fundamental human right to religious freedom. Its a shame, we still have this type of cases in Nigeria while even advanced countries have gone beyond all these kind of frivolities. |
