Ubty:Its not a matter of speed, its more about the rpm your engine is operating. You can run at 1500rpm down a slope at 100kmh yet rev at 3500rpm at 60kmh up a hill. Breaking in an engine especially after a rebuild should be within the first week of use maximum. What are you waiting for a month for? Breaking in is basically to smoothen out the rough edges of the ring to fit into the bore and leaving some marginal space for the oil to lubricate. Daily engine running for a couple days should give desired results. Out of curiosty, why did you have to 'ring' your M40? |
Lol, before I opened the thread I knew it'll be a Toyota corolla. Its one of the funniest car issues I ever had to manage. I think mine happened when I forded some deep water. First it showed very limp proplusion when put in reverse until it didn't move at all. Long story short, I had to replace transmission. |

Mrcashman87:Is it until she starts beating you up as well and turns your house into a WWE ring? Your story is quite familiar to me. I’ve known about 3 families with this kind of dilemma and the husband in the oldest of these families died last year. The wife does as she pleases, locks the gate when she wants to, beats anybody including her kids and her husband mercilessly (since age was telling on him anyway). You have to leave oh. Plan a divorce as soon as you can and gain custody of those kids citing her anger issues to the judge. You can get an elderly maid to cater for them in her absence. She won’t change! Note that. She’s gotten married and had kids, no campaign after election so she’s got nothing to lose living her life the way she wants it now. Get separated peacefully and remarry if you really need to. It’s for your own future and well being of your family you hold in so much esteem. |
felai:I've got a Thinkpad if you're interested. Open box with the listed specs. Check my profile |
This is a clean ride but that price nah real wah for a 16 year old car. |

uboma:Oh yes, awesome car it was. I dropped it in May though as I had to relocate. The Good -Modern looks: Beautiful interior and exterior -Good handling -It had all the gizmos common with a turn of the century car. (CD loaders, automatic climate control, powered seats, controls on steering wheel etc) -Parts are not so expensive and kazeems have a hang of its inner workings (to an extent) The bad -High Fuel consumption. I used a 328i though. No complaints -Glazed LCDs. This is a common problem I've observed on the e38 all the way to the e46s. The Ugly -Snapped belts: This was really bad, I was on about 140kmh when the belt snapped, if flung off the radiator fan, burst through the gasket and I had a totaled cooling system which led to -Radiator issues: Burst radiator and connecting water hoses. It can go wrong at anytime and it did especially in the night time within traffic. Simple solution was replacement. -Transmission Issues: Ah, it had this hard to diagnose death cog wheel light that turns on switching from Gear 4 to 5. Gave me serious headaches. Otherwise, good ride. Had heads turning with my matte black on black 17". Got my sights on an e38 now or maybe an e90. I need to climb up the food chain. ![]() |

kulikuli45:Ah!, do I see this car sometimes within Abuja...I think so ![]() |
Nonsense and ingredients. Reminds me of when Iraq shot down a highly classified American drone in 2011. First the US Government denied any knowledge of it before they asked that Iraq give it back. Not only did Iraq run reverse engineering on it and decoded it, they built replicas which were deployed against Israel. Here we are returning weapons that crossed our borders with no prior notification with a wide grin on top. |

Theres no one that wont be affected by sudden withdrawal of internet services in this day and age except you're using a basic phone. That said, it will be hellish to say the least, business transactions, news, entertainment and what not all gone, it can really drive you crazy. Interestingly though, its not far fetched, all it takes is for the government to pull the plugs on either all social media websites or the internet altogether like it has happened recently in some African countries however there are ways to bypass such restrictions which is a tutorial for another day. |
killmods:Did you experience phone tapping from siblings back then? ![]() |
Well, AirBnB is still targeted at foreigners. They’re the ones who book in advance before coming into the country and the service despite the price beats hotels by far. I got one last year in Kaduna for my sister at about #35,000 per night but it was worth it. Some people live large off AirBnB. You just have to play your cards right |
Now this is what a 2005 c230 should look like. I saw a ‘2007’ on this section same price and man, you can’t compare |

Searching for Lenovo Thinkpad X1 carbon 6th to 7th Gen. A good TLC price will do. I don’t want AIN at the moment. Thanks |
It’s a Doberman and local dog mix. The paws give it away as local. |
Snoobor:Nairalanders have trolled and damaged the rep of the ad (a usual practice) acting as if their smoking personal cars they manage are spotless, faultless and stainless. In my opinion, a car looks different in realty from pictures seen on a phone screen. A serious buyer will be someone who truly needs the car and searches for it. Happened to me severally and he won’t price much before he makes payment. I hope you’re trying other platforms as well. All the best. And honestly, except we spot a non disclosure or scam related post, we should quit downgrading sellers merchandise. It’s irritating. |
I saw the vehicle. Nasty accident I must say |
Bettycars:Thanks for the input. I’ll consider my options. |
Bettycars:Pardon my enquirer. I’m not making a purchase now but hopefully soon. Can you get an e34, as indicated below, under 1m? If yes, will it come through lagos as well or our nearby neighbours (if Baba decides to open the border though) Thanks

Rhaspody:You just hit it on the head sir. If he doesn’t get it at this stage then he’s a troll. Alienware still available folks |
obiekunie2:Took the words out of my mouth. That price tag will buy at least 2 of those Ranges. Why will I spend such on this Rills that looks so dated already ![]() |
