before I put my head into any production business, I need my mind fully made up and my cash ready and in position. Production is not beans especially when you intend to generate reasonable revenue from it that can sustain your living. I've put my life savings into some original ideas and came out burnt but yes I learnt some valuable lessons like the one shared above. Never mistake hustle for business. They are totally different. For how long will you be doing hide and seek with Govt officials, or begging market retailers to shelf your products, or eating from your main business capital just to kill daily hunger. Get a solid plan, have another job that's putting food on your table so you're not under pressure and third have enough capital to start and run the business all inclusive for at least 1 full year before you start making returns. This will give you the chance to waddle in your trial and error before you get things right. Otherwise, you rush in and get rushed out in a painful way. If its #3,000 or #100,000 or #200,000 you have, go and do buying and selling of "fast-moving cheap products" not watches or phones that once customers buy, it'll take a whole year before they need another one. Buy cheap stuff in few quantities that if you realize it's not moving as expected, you quickly liquidate and save the remainder of your hard earned hustle money to push into another viable hustle. |

NewBea:Is a 4 or 6 cylinder engine? I used a Honda once and I spent about #600 daily in fuel for a distance if about 20 km daily. I don't know the consumption rate of the Pontiac but that if the corolla is highly touted. Im sure you know enigine sizes have their strengths and weaknesses in terms of acceleration, power and other factors depends on what you need. If you are strictly about consumption, get a micra Performance go for Benz and BMW |

BiafraBushBoy:A major advantage I sighted up there was the luck he talked about that gave him an early chance to grab a seat at the elders table (or management cadre if you like). This position opens up the door nd opportunities, more income, exposure, training as well as invaluable contacts. A lot of sales executives today keep grinding at the executive level without getting a chance to make that jump. His meteoric rise can also be attributed to sharp business acumen and acquisitions. A lot of hardworking folks hardly get that high up without piggybacking on failing enterprises and turning them around. Honestly too, not everyone can be good business people. Some folks are built to lecture, some.to code, some to preach etc but the comfort in that is there is no discipline or tase you can engage in today that you can’t hammer. We ought to keep grinding with streamlined focus and big dreams |

Why on earth was I born as an African for God's sake? This race is fast becoming a disgrace. |
Africans are simply lacking mental utilization. We fail to see beyond our noses and trade phenomenal glory and fortune for immediate short term gains that disappear in the next 1 week. We need deliverance from mental slavery. |
One of my half brothers had polio from childhood. Its quite bad as both legs were affected and he uses a pair of crutches. His waist downward is also thoroughly underdeveloped. He should be around 40 years now and married to one of the most beautiful 'able bodied' women I have ever seen. He has 2 masters, a politician with APC and about to run for office by 2023. He's also got 4 beautiful kids, girls and boys. Disability is never a barrier but marriage is a serious issue. There's no backing out especially if you are a christian. Its easy to look at surviving in the short term but imagine being with him for years unending. Like someone said above which I can confirm, in marriage love is important but common sense and logic is importanter. Is he equally crazy over you or likely to look outside after he hammers especially in the music world of today. My parents didn't support my marriage either but they later gave their consent with a grain of salt. My mind was prepared for the worst case scenario and I'm thankful I wasn't disappointed with my decision but I'm happy and blessed with pleasant surprises. Its all up to you. |

This is a no brainer. The range takes it hands down. Range has always been about class. The ML is more of a run about vehicle. Looking for class in Benz SUV then target ‘05 G wagons. |

Quite a few but I’ll share just a couple First I was traveling to Inadan from Ijebu ode and I had to slow down for a pothole. In the next few seconds, I looked in the rear view mirror and saw a 98 Camry speeding in from the rear. Evidently the car didn’t look like it was slowing down at all and at that moment of wondering what to do and trying to turn off to the bank of the road I heard that expected loud bang!!! My car screeched off the road and went airborne as the side was a deep trench. I felt the weight loss descent and then a rough rush of leaves, branches as the car fell over 100ft. That was the last thing I knew before I went unconscious. The car was a write off but I thank God for life. A second: I was in a hiace heading to Abuja from Ibadan at about 11pm that night. It was raining heavily and the driver had a bad wiper. He started driving one way along the Ife road and didn’t know a trailer (also going one way) had just broken down on the same road. He saw the truck a second almost too late and quickly swerved into the middle trench. The bus rolled over but I’m grateful for life. We all came out unscathed. |
