Imagine the rubbish talk. Even after the pics and the info that this isn't the first time the guy is doing it, they still need to hear from him to explain why he beat the girl. LoL.
If you support them, you're a woman beater too. Period. Has he been proven to be guilty of all the allegations by the court |

subject yourself to urine fast.
this simply mean go on fasting for five days. in each of those days, all you feed on is your urine

periodically, u could sip some water, if you are thirsty
at the last day, take one orange in the morning, then at night
afterwards, resume your normal life again.
here is my number
07031009036
if you dont get permanently cured, call me and curse me!!

God1000: I fully understand the despair and all the challenges at home which is largely responsible for this ugly situation.
But why going through so much just to cross to another country, they will gather a lot of money, movement from one African country to another before embarking on the dangerous journey of uncertainty.
They will finally end up sleeping on the streets of European countries after getting there, some of them hawk and sweep to make ends meet, but back at home they won't do those things because of pride.
Why going to another country to become a third class citizen?
There's this wrong notion that as a graduate you must work inside one fine office with suit and tie, live a lavish lifestyle and try to impress men and women. Nollywood movies and Nigerian politicians encourage this a lot.
We worship people that return from abroad, even if they do dirty jobs like drugs, all our people want to see when you return is beautiful car and house and they will worship you automatically.
Are Nigerians outside even enjoying? Because some bad ones have soiled our reputation badly, we don't have good image anywhere in the world, even within Africa, nobody trusts a Nigerian anymore, so why going through so much just to become an object of ridicule out there? They end up doing those menial jobs they won't do at home.
We look down on people that make legitimate ends meet in Nigeria through menial jobs but worship and glorify Yahoo boys and corrupt politicians! Something is indeed wrong with us.
No society can make headways with this kind of mindset and mentality our people have. Na Buhari effect dey push people out o

otomatic: I experienced this thing in 2006 when I served in the North. Nigerian geological survey asked me to get a letter from a Minister for them to allow me do my primary assignment with them. They informed me that one corper from the previous batch was serving there but he was sent there from "above". So they were taking care of his accommodation and allowances. I asked them to just give me a place to stay and not bother about allowances. I was offering/willing to work for free just to get the experience, being an earth scientist. They refused. Oya give me a letter of rejection, they still refused. I had to show annoyance before they eventually gave me that rejection later 2 days later. And this place was headed by a Professor o. I thank God, I survived NYSC. If not that my home was more than 24 hours away by road, i would have just quit. Because I was stranded with nowhere to pass the night. Thank God for one banker who used to come to our camp. He saw me tired and worn out that first day in the evening and gave me directions to the state Lodge. God bless him wherever he is. My experiences during that one year were not such that can promote national cohesion in my mind. This your last paragraph calls for concern o.... Every genuine youth corp member both past and present have a story to tell whether positively or negatively..... My concern is that why is the parent more concerned of the rejection more than the the victim if truly they have not influenced the posting from beginning |

hotplay: Good day Nairalanders, I need your advice. I had an encounter with a police officer yesterday along Ibadan-Abeokuta road. I will keep it brief and concise.
I boarded a bus from Ibadan to Abeokuta yesterday afternoon. Somewhere around Odeda, our bus was stopped at a police check point. I was apprehended by the officer who asked me to unlock my phone for him. I did as instructed and next he called me a cyber criminal without any evidence to proof. He immediately demanded I paid him 500k or I will be arrested and detained. I told him I can give him only 5k because I had a very important thing to do and I wouldn't want him to waste any of my precious time. The officer agreed and eventually I gave him cash of 3k because he didn't accept transfer for obvious reasons.
Before he searched my phone, he seized my bag and a nylon containing my shoes and my iPhone usb cord.
I unfortunately missed my bus because of delay, so I needed to board another bus immediately, so the officer helped me to stop a bus. He then handed me my bag and nylon. I was so pissed off and tried to cool off my head with a short nap. On getting to Abeokuta, I checked if the contents of my bag and nylon was intact but to my greatest surprise, I found a big android phone belonging to the police officer inside the nylon instead of my shoe and usb. He had unfortunately giving me a wrong nylon containing his own phone.
I have the phone with me now and I'm sincerely not willing to give it back. He has been calling and I don't know if I should change my mind.
What should I do guys? I'm confused. Return it back I repeat return it back not for anything but for you to be at peace with yourself afterall |
