i'm still building, hence i posted this because i was able to work on the prev/next button. the pause/play as well as the progress bar. and i have received positive reviews so far. i still dont get why it is like this on your screen lol

these are screenshot gotten from
iphone Xs mas
Apple ipad pro
samsung Tab 2 10
Amazon kindle fire HD 7

these are tablets, mobile phones and Large screen devies

That's display for tablet above...
Check with your inspector tool

Modified: There's also no information about the currently playing song. Just plays in the background and also no visual feedback to show that the song is clickable.

what is the size of your screen? cus i have tested on over 10 devices and it goes well
fastanddubious:
You can do better as this is a bad subpar design
You can try something less complex

Programming / Re: I'm Building A Music App, Do You Wanna Help Test? by Lampert505(m): 1:17pm On Jun 11, 2023
portfolio project is what it is.

and can you pls refer me to the bugs you encountered sir? if it is for the music file loading late, it is because those files are a bit heavy

for the improper Css, can you pls refer me to them, i deeply appreciate your input

p.s i am not done building yet sir.
GREATIGB0MAN:
This is a portfolio project.
The design is ok... many things aren't working well

So many bugs... improper css all over the place

No one builds a music app as a website... it's usually an App where they can save the musics to play later... I believe this is just a portfolio project

Nah! this is mad.

impressive. how can i reach out to you bro? its been really hard for me getting Gigs or jobs

niel63:
Sometimes I consider UI Designers as some of the trickiest people in the design and development ecosystem. These guys can be very mean with their ideas... I mean, they just go ahead and put these things into perspective without minding the developer's prowess. Well, I guess that is why companies carefully select their team.

I was to create a simple interior design website from scratch with a minimal budget. And me, I like doing things wey pass me sometimes... Instead make I kukuma go use WordPress with elementor jejely... No, I no dey gree hear word grin. I went on to use Vue/Nuxtjs.

The funny thing is, I have never worked on any project using Nuxt. So, I went on with Nuxt3 anyways just to see what I can achieve with it. (This is why I opened a thread earlier talking about project-based learning)

So I went on with Nuxt3 and with the documentation open on one tab, I decided to make the process easier for myself by using tailwind classes. I could have written out my own css classes to achieve same, using pure CSS or Sass sha!

Nuxt3 is quite simple I have to say... with the options to use either their composite or option API, I feel more comfortable using the composite API... na so I enter dev mode o! And na so I achieve this here: https://perfectfitinteriors.com

And the figma design I tweaked to my taste is: https://www.figma.com/proto/Ns26ZMGNvBEiEiYTPYa6ZO/Interior-Design-Webflow-Website-Template-(Community)?node-id=1-458

Anyways, as we all know, what makes your website dynamic is your content.
How I handled that was simple. I used sanity headless cms... who puts out static content these days anyway?

Basically, that's a jamstack website and whatever I learned will never leave my head. That's why I always encourage project-based learning.

doing backend stuffs is quite fun but these days, I just see it as re-inventing the wheels if you're just building a basic website. use wordpress for your content if you can't handle other headless cms's and employ the power of the almighty Graqhql. You will be alright.
Except you're building out software for scale... no go dey do pass yourself.

Sometimes I'd build out an API using Nest or Express and sometimes I do that with Laravel. My own be say, na as body sweet me and based on the particular project I am working on. However, moving forward, I am delving more into building out my API's using GoLang.

Anyway, I just dey bored and I say make i drop one for una. wink cheesy

Modified: Take note of the figma link. Ensure the node-id bla bla bla is selected also, otherwise you won't see the flow/pages

Programming / Update On The Web App I Was Building Using With React by Lampert505(m): 8:14am On May 22, 2023
A month back, I started learning React and it has been a tough and amazing ride so far, I’ve been able to create minimal projects in which I shared here as well. The recent one was this amazing landing page design I saw on figma, and I decided to Code it out,
Been working on it for weeks, and I was finally able to upload the live link here on some of my recent post, but jus last week I was able to Add some other features like the

Responsive navigation Bar
added some animation

The animation was done using AOS library and this is the live link. What’s your thought on this and how would you rate this?

I’ll be working on the forms this week as God wishes 🙂

I’m open for Gigs and internship as well! 🙂

alright, noted boss ❤️

chukwuebuka65:
Practice more with frontend mentor projects as they give you a design to work with. A design with mobile and desktop version, fonts , colors and every other thing you need to turn a design to code. Also don’t spend to much time on vanilla js. Once you know the basics , choose a framework .
Programming / Re: Side Project I Built 2022 - A Junior Dev by Lampert505(m): 6:08pm On Jan 04, 2023
Thanks for this reviews and advice my bro..
i wasn't really working with a design in most of those projects, i think everything will come perfect when i begin to work with a specific one

majesticguy:
Of all the projects, i kinda fancied the last one.

You really need to work on structuring your divs, sections or containers perfectly, as it seems one of the above is overflowing, hence, the website is kinda tilty which shouldn't be.

Fonts: look for a font family that compliments the site. It's kinda a beauty site, try not to go with fonts that are formal.

Images: it seems your image sizes are kinda massive, hence the slow load time of site. Go for image sizes that are from the range of 300px & below.

Also work on your paddings and margins. It's seems you were kinda in a haste while working on this project. Take your time, research and see other people works on dribble and behance, then from there, have a mental picture of what you want to create, then take your time to work on the project. It's best to have one perfectly crafted project, than an array of mediocre projects. If you are an artistic person, it's an added advantage.

Finally, I'd advise you to take your time and learn the raw CSS.

NB: I also started sometime last year and these are the few tips I think would make your site stand out.

So I dived into the tech Field around January, I was really occupied and couldn’t be consistent the way I wish, i was a bit free from March and I utilize my time into learning html, Css, tailwindCss, vanilla js, git and GitHub, it was really tough and amazing at the same time, thanks to those I looked up to that mentored me both in NL and Twitter ❤️

I built projects with the stacks I learnt. I work with design from my head with some of them and Frontendmentor design with some of them too

Side Projects I built in 2022:

◆ e-commerce challenge(html,tailwindCss, vanilla Js): https://opeyemilsneakers.netlify.app
◆ digital rosary for Muslim (html, tailwindCss, vanilla Js): https://tesbihpro.netlify.app
◆ Todo web app (html, tailwindCss,Vanilla js) still building : https://opeyemiltodo.netlify.app

These are some Side Projects I built recently, some are challenges from frontendmentor:

Your portfolio is amazing immediately you have known a JavaScript Framework you can start applying to frontend jobs.
Programming / Re: I’m Building A Digital Dhikr(muslim Supplication) Counter, Help Me Test It by Lampert505(m): 3:33pm On Jan 03, 2023
Counter reducer has been fixed. I’m yet to learn backend languages. I’m not so sure I can implement maintaining current count using local storage ❤️

truthCoder:

Great.

Nice ability to change colors.

Touch counter works...would be great on mobile...i tested on a laptop though.

Update Request:
Make the 'counter reducer' not count into negative when it is at 0. Currently, if at 0, it starts counting -1, -2 etc
Give the reset button an icon.

Any plans on maintaining current count ? Local storage? When i refresh, it reverts to 0.

Good job
