Osariemen12:Obaseki is a useless governor in all ramifications and standards. Stop praising him or defending him on social media. Edo people are not fools that defend useless politicians because of tribal sentiments. |
Stop telling Nigerians about your useless audio plans. Start the implementation and let's see the results |
Osariemen12:You're a very stupid and shameless liar. Oshiomole is the only governor in Edo state since 1999 that worked on federal roads like benin auchi and Benin Lagos roads, and also worked on erosion control in Benin. Obaseki abandoned the erosion control project and has left all federal and many state roads in Edo to fall into a state of disrepair. |

Glamswizard:You're entitled to all accrued payment (salary, bonus, etc) upon termination of employment. However, severance package comes into play mostly when you've served in the company for a long time (5, 10, 15, 20 years and above). |
dhoncesar:Slave drivers.... 11 hours of work daily for 26/27 days in a month for 35k so that they'll never have time or be able to save to develop themselves and improve their lives? |
They probably want to change roles and/or salaries of workers given past experience, performance and current realities, and they probably have no record of the offer letter they gave to you guys or they lost the record. You can give them a photocopy if you're so scared. But ask if they need the copy or original because you have the scanned copy on your phone and you can print it out and the original is in a safebox in your village together with your other important documents to avoid misplacement or other bullshit story you can think of. But no fear. Worst that can happen is lower your salary or releave you of your job or role so that you can pursue other life goals |
She probably went to rent a room somewhere took those things to sort out feeding. If you want the things back, you have to find out where she works and trace her home. You can find someone else to contact her in the name of doing business with her or patronising her... From there you can get her or trace her. It's going to be a day and half job. 10k should solve the problem. |
Seek permission before engaging people in business discussion on WhatsApp. It will save you from any unnecessary embarrassment |
Where's Dangote Fuel? They shouldn't tell Nigerians that they can't produce after getting billions of dollars from Nigeria tax payers to fund Dangote refinery |
How can you have all these certificates and still be looking for job? Please create job for yourself by designing a solution to any of Nigeria's billion+ problems. |

brain54:The mods, both past and present, and seun are 100% responsible for what's happening to nl. In terms of ethnic bigotry, seun and his mods failed to checkmate it early enough to the point that it worsened trust amongst nigerians and destroyed the spirit of cooperation... This pushed some people away who may have been contributing greatly to the forum cos they just want to avoid the toxicity of nl... In terms of nl rules, seun and his mods fail woefully to enforce the rules, and sometimes the mods are unashamedly biased that it's surprising, shocking and disgusting. This has driven some people away from nl and made many more avoid posting valuable contributions here. Additionally, seun and his mods do not reward creation of valuable content. Go and study Reddit and Quora to understand what I mean. They'd rather push a dry topic of a crossdresser showing his buttocks which will later degenerate into ethnic bashings to front page than push nigeria focused topics discussing how a particular problem is solved or one's experience on something. With time, this will drive away those who make valuable contributions on the forum because their effort is like a waste. The problem is further compounded by the fact that the new generation (15-23) joining nl now are mostly very corrupted products of Nigerian society... No good education, no good moral upbringing, no desire to learn positive progressive things... This group are the ones mostly detailing threads with tribal slurs, thereby driving away valuable contributors who are not even being rewards.... while they in turn cannot even contribute positively to the forum because they lack good education, moral upbringing, desire to learn new things, etc. I started visiting nl over a decade ago and joined during my nysc... I won an essay competition in my first year of joining which motivated me to give back to the community by giving solution oriented comments to enquiries from members, etc... 3 years down the line and I started observing the negative trend on nl, especially after Buhari came in... Seun and his mods were advised several times but their solutions did nothing to solve the problem except aggravate it. Now we have gotten to this shithole stage where looking for revenue has pushed the owner to give away freedom and anonymity of users to Google. I rest my case. Like I said, seun no dey hear word. If I had his IT skills, nl will be only sm site majority of Nigerians with access to internet visit |
yesloaded:Is it that any amount I send to the account is automatically deducted and invested on my behalf? That means for example if I get unexpected income I can just transfer it to the account and it will be deducted immediately and invested on my behalf? If yes, is there a minimum amount I need to transfer to the account for this to happen? If someone wants to pay for ny services, can I give them the account and once they pay into the account then it'll be automatically deducted and invested on my behalf? Also, what can you say about the returns on investment from them? What is the average annual interest rate? |
yesloaded:Please throw more light. I'm interested |
IamdbuII:Work on your voice/pronunciation of words in lyrics... Your pronunciation is too heavy Also pay a sound engineer to teach you how to record sounds properly before you post for others to listen to... Most times, your sound is like you use your phone to record what is playing on a bluethooth speaker...which is very bad cos somebody won't hear the instrumentals well except your heavy pronunciation.. if you like take this advice or ignore it |
Seun no dey hear word o. Advice him from now till 2030, he's gonna pay deaf ear... He's refusing to swim with the tide by listening to valuable feedback from users, he'll definitely sink at the appropriate time, and then he'll start blaming Nigeria. Nl is already sinking, that is why he had to run to get AdSense from Google. Now Google will have unfettered access to spy on his site by collecting valuable data that they'll resell I have since limited creating of meaningful threads or giving free valuable contributions on nl cos the owner is not serious about improving the forum. |
Owa444:I do pray it's not colon cancer. Please go and do the test mentioned by the doctor close to end of first page. Anything about stomach and losing weight is not nice. Someone we served together in same ppa passed on to colon cancer. Please don't take this issue lightly |
Hope this phone was not slapped from somebody's hand, snatched and taken away? The pattern of crack seems extraordinary. Please investigate before buying or swapping to avoid landing in police net. Op, please post the carton and recept with important details greyed out. Cheers |
The only person I can compliment on that list is Adams Oshiomole. As minister of works I'm 100% certain that he'll turn Southern Nigeria to a construction site, particularly federal infrastructures in the zone... though people will cry at the beginning, in four years time everyone will be singing his praise. He has the energy and past performance record to stand for him... Most of the rest are failed politicians |
fadilaMaikiriki:Are your toes quarreling with each other ![]() |
Tinubu is starting to disappoint. Tax the rich if you must tax and leave the poor masses alone from your tax madness. Only lazy governments really heavily on tax. Tinubu, are you lazy? Saudi Arabia that is oil rich like Nigeria does not impose personal income tax, yet they're doing well. Tinubu, block corruption, leakage and overbloated federal civil service. |
It'd be a miracle if Tinubu doesn't tax the air Nigerians breath. The old man is starting off on a very bad note |
Hmmm |
Nice2023:I don't know what category you belong to but the most foolish employee in Nigeria won't spend 120k a month on fuel... Are you drinking the fuel? |
Dear experienced Nigerian stock traders/investors, I'd like to know, is the Nigerian Stock market now developed to the point where you can trade on it instantly (instant trade executions, buy/sell) like on crypto exchanges? The thought of delayed trade executions is a discouraging factor in joining the Nigerian Stock market. I want to know if this problem has been eliminated, and if yes, platforms that I can start my journey from. Thanks for your valued response in advance |
Seun that was so "wise" to put a mandatory islam declaration before any Nairalander can comment on islam threads but conveniently forgot to do same for Christian threads and other religions...yet still forming equality expert. Seun presents the image of a divisive element or the architect of ethno-religious bigotry now rampant on Nairaland. This posture holds either because he's from one of the major ethnic groups in Nigeria or he's just a poster boy for Europe's divide and rule tactic to ensure continuous underdevelopment of Nigeria. |
PHIPEX:Your comment reeks of stupidity and ignorance. Do you even know what contactless payment is? |
Things are getting out of hand in this country

Arisenews2:You should have asked the officers these questions when you were being slapped. Tomorrow is another day. You can repeat your whole experience again but this time make sure you get your answers from your assailants. You're not living in the poverty capital of the world and you won't be dealing with grossly undereducated police officers, so they'll gladly oblige you with answers you seek |
The problem with Nigerian youths is that you guys don't know how to stay low and humble once you start touching money. The money you use to buy that flashy car with tinted windows is enough to buy a bus for public transportation or other transportation business that will bring more income for you and take away the eyes of the jealous poverty stricken policemen and other evil people around you. But no, the first few thousand dollars you get, you start dressing like you are a hip-hop star with dreadlocks and chains and funky sneakers. You rush to buy one exotic car, tint the glasses and then go rent an apartment for a price that is far above the normal price. You do all this forgetting that they place you on the same level as scammers and fraudsters who spend recklessly and don't mind showcasing or living an extravagant lifestyle. Remember, you'll always be addressed the way you're dressed. If you are dressed/living like a yahooboy because Youtube is giving you the same dollars yahooboys have access to then you are subjecting yourself to being abused by the uneducated and extremely corrupt nigerian police. If you like, don't follow my advice and learn to keep a low profile. You're lucky you didn't lose an eye today or get a bullet in your chest. Will you be so lucky tomorrow? #Peace? |
