Please u guys should take to the promise land

I need more views or suggestions from nairalanders

My current job depends on it

I pray you lose that job if you turn out to be oppressive and tribalistic after passing probation by following the tips I share below.

1. Sleep from 4pm till 40 minutes before your resumption time... Don't oversleep and get into another problem of arriving late to work.

2. Make sure to walk a short distance of at least 10 minutes to work to kick your metabolism into action

3. Hold Nescafé as backup and take it around 9:30-10pm with warm water if you feel slow or fuzzy.

4. Take short walks around your duty post, at least 2 minutes walk around every one hour

5. Go to work with a mindset to learn something new about your job... Write what you want to learn for the day down. Once you have settled in for the day, start learning what you planned to learn. Set the learning time to around 12-1am...

6. There's usually a one hour break for 12 hour shifts. Make use of it to rest if you're tired. Also assign someone to stand in for you while you take your rest and also state it out that you're taking your one hour rest. Don't do this everyday.

7. Be nice and helpful to those working with you so that they won't go snitching on you. I'm not saying you should go and be shining your teeth for everyone so that disrespect will set in.

Wish you all the best but don't forget my first statement

Alex Ottih has proven that bad governance must not be tolerated. One very noticeable feature in most of the roads constructed by Alex Otti is that they all have covered drains, well marked and with street lights!

God will continue to bless great and visionary men like Alex Ottih, Peter Obi, Donald Duke etc.

Meanwhile, are you sure this is Ngwa road?
Oga remove Peter Obi from that list.

Alex Oti is doing well and we can see it to verify. Can you share same achievements of Peter Obi without noticing the series of scandals during his time as governor from the extra judicial killings to money laundering in brief case, to investing state funds in his family business to series of strikes by state health workers?

Later they will say Nigerian women are divorcing abroad. I live here and see how some married women work multiple exhausting night and day shifts just to make up bills with their husbands, still find time to do house cooking, cleaning and taking primary care of the kids.
This kind of man will do wrong in his marriage and ask his wife to pray about it, use Bible verses to justify his actions as well.
Hope you're not too judgemental.

While I'm not holding brief for the guy, you present the case and paint the guy in very bad light. You seem extremely cautious and calculative when relating or dealing with the guy but the guy is acting carefree with you without considering that you may not share same level of feelings or carefreeness.

You're the reason why I tell my colleague that he'll cry blood by the time the girl he's always calling and doing romeo for puts pepper in his eyes.

You and the guy are not compatible. Please break off the relationship and move on with your life.

If you're still keeping him around because you just want to be friends then make it very clear and set strict boundaries.

Stop pretending to like the guy or doing things that is giving him wrong signals.

Cheers

MimiSheWrote:
Hello Everyone, first of all I apologize in advance for the long note and also about my English, not actually my first language. cry

My name is Mimi, I was born in Nigeria... But cos of the nature of my dad's profession i have spent around 75% of my life in different countries outside Nigeria... Mostly in EU.

Well enough said about myself, cos this topic is not about me but about Nigerians... Our general mentality and perception of abroad.

Guys listen up... All that glitters is not really gold. Out there is not entirely what people think it is. And you might think just because I have spent so much time outside Nigeria i do not understand the struggle in Nigeria and therefore not qualified to tell you all this "nonsense"..... I completely get it.. trust me.

But even a random 3 years old kid knows that the country is messed up and nothing to write home about, we all know about the Suffering, depression and "starvation level of poverty" in Nigeria yeah.... That's why everyone is desperatly looking for a way out, no doubt... but trust me, JAPA is not 'always' your ticket out of poverty... Well 'sometimes' it is... but most times it's just your direct ticket to being subjected to racism, more depression, more struggles, several mental disorder, homelessness, modern day slavery and the list goes on and on.

Trust me... when it comes to hustling field, success is much more louder than failure. cos our mind was designed to constantly search for hope. which means you would quickly hear about the lucky 3% that made it big through JAPA, but hardly hear about the remaining unlucky 97% that found themselves in worse possible condition after the same JAPA. There's no money tree out here... there's no diamond river out here...
Is there more opportunities? Well yes, But there are millions of people that already done and still doing whatever you intend to come do over here and yet they are still in the worse condition than you are in right now.

You would literally cry when you see what most of our African brothers and sisters go through around the world in the name of Japa. And as a Nigerian?? Trust me it gets worse.. and your chances gets even much smaller. Cos no one trust Nigerians anymore any where around the world and I believe we all know why.

Sorry but I'm not trying to burst anyone's bubble, kill anyone's vibe or being a negative biitch! Naaaah I'm only trying to be realistic! I'm only trying to tell you something no travel agent would ever tell you and something people abroad hardly tell you, and even when they eventually do tell you...? You don't believe them.. instead you result to asking them questions like "why are they still there if it's that bad"? .....

Well.... You wanna know why most of them are still there? Let me tell you why... there is a psychological reason for that... First They are still in DENIAL. Imagine dreaming your entire life to travel abroad and finally have a good life, you probably invested almost everything or everything you have got to make it happen (your money, your time, your last hope)
But then you finally got there and then meet a reality that is entirely different from your life long dreams and perception of these faraway green lands?
I don't know if you know... but our brain is defensive in nature, it will automatically switch straight to denial mode... Leaving you with atleast enough 'hope and wait for a magic or should i say a miracle' (afterall this is abroad where magic happens?)
This is just one of the reasons why most of these people continue sticking around instead of returning home.

Another reason is that they are worried about what people back home would say or think... Because the people back home also got this general fvcked up mentality and very high expectation of people coming back from Japa (y'all need to stop it! Y'all need to get rid of that mentality, seriously embarassed) cos like I said earlier... there is no bleeping money tree over there! I don't know where Nigerians got that idea from in the first place...
It needs to stop, yall driving the youth nuts with such mentality, it's doing more harm than good. That high expectation/ pressure back home is mostly the reason our people are more likely to result to crime out here (so just stop it! cry )

I have met alot of other African nationalities abroad... and amazingly they don't share the same mentality we have about Abroad. They treat abroad as just another hustling ground and not a direct ticket to success... Therefore they are more relaxed and less pressured than Nigerians out here.

Moving Abroad is not such a bad idea though, it worked and still works for few lucky ones (including my Family) it would be wrong and biased of me if I fail to mention that..
There are plenty of and more opportunities over out here not doubt...
But what I'm just saying is that... it's not always that easily reached.. as most people automatically believe.
Look... Somehow all these countries are intelligently designed In such a way that it take back almost entirely everything you make out here from you one way or the other... Through tax, through mind blowing bills or random expenses around every corner.

And at the end of the day you realize you are nothing but a modern day slave building someone's country for free... And without freedom.

Most people screaming Japa in Nigeria are far in better living condition and more stable mentally ,more happy than majority of people in the so called abroad without even knowing it. Sometimes Instead of gambling and betting your hard earned million of naira on Japa, it's more advisable to chill out... relax and invest that Millions in Nigeria. I'm just saying... You would probably end up living a life most people over there can only envy and dream of.

Thanks for reading my long note... I hope this helps someone in making a life decision out there. #ItsYourGurlMimi kiss

Your post is very useless, I swear.

I personally know more than 20 persons that have travelled out of this country.

All of them have achieved what they would never have achieved if they had spent the same number of years in Nigeria.

All of them are now more educated, healthy and achieved financial freedom to live the life of their dream e.g Build a house, start a business, fund their children's education, etc.

What is the hope of achieving all that in Nigeria where Nigerians slave away their life to earn minimum wage of less than $35 for a whole month... meanwhile their health suffers, security is not assured, Inflation killing, education poor, everything useless.

For the middle or lower class to make it in Nigeria, you need to either be extremely lucky, extremely corrupt or both because the system does not support or provide the environment for personal growth and development.

Ordinary constant electricity, Nigeria cannot guarantee it for her citizens 63 years after independence and you want them to remain in the country.

Then you foolishly talk about racism as if the tribalism in Nigeria is better than the racism overseas.

You're not in any position to advise people to stop seeking for greener pastures abroad because you don't know their pains and because you still have a silver spoon stuck in your mouth right from birth.

If you want to test yourself, give out all the money in your account to charity, burn your passports, burn your certificates, change your name legally and come start life all over in Nigeria by going to school or searching for a job.

If your eye no clear after 1 year of struggle I'll deactivate my account.

Again, in case you missed it, your post is very useless.

You need to do a research on things before you talk. Rankerdao is not owned by Nigerians, It is owned by Indonesians or something like that, I don't think there is much difference from it being owned by Nigerians, but it is not..

Rankerdao is not a project that is doing well, It's just a project that pumps once every month. Simple as that. This comment does not have any other meaning, form, shapes, or sizes. Anything else your mind tells you when you read my post on Rankerdao is just your mind playing with you.

Look at the MC of that thing, it is absolutely ridiculous, even Nigerians do not roll like that... if you did not see the Mc, go back and look again. What makes a product have over 200k volume daily but MC remains around 100k, this is why I say something is off.

Well, let me educate you a little more. There is a project called SHILL, I think It is also failing as Ranker is, also from Indonesia. The guy is doing everything to keep that project alive, I saw that from his on-chain. Anyway, he has the same last name as the founder of that Ranker. Did my research and found out they are cousins.

Now, in my head, they are Asians, they are doing everything to keep their projects alive, including bot trading monthly. Since they have a population in that part of the world, I started deploying money I could forgo to buy and sell that product monthly, use the gains to buy cryptos that I love.
My end game is to use that swing trading and buy as much of it as possible just in case they have a success story in the bull run. meanwhile I already took my capital.

So there you go, free research work.

I greeted and shook of them with excitement and they were so happy and greeted me except this new counselor. I was shocked to see the cold way this boy reacted.

He almost ignored me as I stretched my hand to shake him.

Is it because he's a counselor now or what?

Is it not too early for him to start behaving this way?

You're the irresponsible person because you're the one not setting boundaries with your useless exes despite knowing their kind of person.

First of all, take your life away from social media. You like to flaunt your life and life of your kids on social media. That was how the first daughter's father crept back into the little girl's life that he's now destroying with vanity.

Even if you're on Facebook, make sure your number is not visible for friends and public to see and easily reach you.

Get new sim and gradually transition to the new sim without giving out the number to anyone except for very close family and business associates with strict instruction not to share your contact with anyone else.

I don't know how your useless exes are always getting your contact to be calling you or chatting you to spit rubbish. Maybe it's as a result of you being careless and exposing your contact on Facebook or people sharing your contact or maybe the olosho blood is still in your vein and you're the one giving them the contact yourself because deep down you crave and love the attention.

Just know that you'll destroy yourself and your home if you don't take a firm stand and set boundaries and separate yourself from your exes totally.

Your first daughter is already on the path of waywardness. Your second daughter will easily follow once you foolishly allow your ex continue to be in her life and influence her and cos disaffection between you and your husband.

I hate irresponsible fathers and mothers. You've been an irresponsible mother with no control and will to set boundaries. Don't allow your waywardness destroy your daughters lives.

Send me a pm if you want me to speak this harsh words into your ears so they can enter your brain.

1. All past and present governors of Bayelsa state. They should be the first to face firing squad if Military take over in Nigeria.

2. Lucky Igbinedion

3. Ikpeazu of Abia

4. Godwin Obaseki of Edo. The guy is just good at engaging in political problems than governing and developing a state. Edo state roads, public schools and healthcare is now a total write-off compared to how Oshiomole left it.

5. Past and present governors of Benue, Kogi, Zamfara, Adamawa, Yobe, Ogun, Ondo and Ekiti states.

Infact, Nigeria is just cursed with evil visionless leaders... Thanks to the multiethnic and multi language in Nigeria this country will never develop unless the country is restructured so that Yorubas can have Tinubu as president, Igbos can have Peter Obi as president, Hausa/Fulani can have Atiku as president while Niger Delta can have Wike/Oshiomole as president.

Christianity EtcRe: How Someone Cast A Spell Of Death On Me As A Child by LandMann:
EmekaStanley:
This is a true story of my life. Read this story to end, it could be the most important information you’ll ever get with regards to protecting your child.

No individual ever remembers what happened to him or her in their baby or toddler days, we only get the information from parents, older siblings, neighbors or just about anyone who happened to be there at that time. It was the same with me.

One of the earliest events of my childhood that I can recall was that one particular lady that lived within the neighborhood called me, ‘Anya tititi’, anytime she was passing by and sees me.

I later realized that she was jokingly making jest of an eye condition I had at that time called Strabismus or misaligned eyes. My eyes were later to align perfectly as I got older.

When I became older to comprehend wholly, my parents told me how much I got so sick.

According to my mother, I was so sick that even the doctors could not detect what was wrong with me. I was taken to several hospitals, several tests, no result. It was this sickness that caused the strabismus then.

My mother went further to tell me that at a point after trying several hospitals with no headway, they got tired of carrying me around, tiredness of not knowing what next to do.

She said they’ll just lay me on the bed the whole day, I won’t move and the only way they’ll know that I’m still alive is that they’ll call my name, ‘Chukwuemeka’, and I’ll answer ‘huh’.

The ‘huh’ sound from me was the confirmation they needed to have that I was still alive. I was meant to understand that this was my condition for a long time.

It is important to note that this was not as a result of lack of nutrition because I was rightly told by my parents and an Aunt who babysat me, that of all my siblings, I consumed the most quality and quantity of pricey baby foods as a way to hopefully get me out of that situation.

But as God would have it, and after a long time spanning to months and few years, I began to snap out of that condition with no medication or special attention, and here am I today, a full grown man with complete functionalities. To God be the Glory.

Till this day, even as I write this, my mother and father (of blessed memory), cannot explain all that transpired – the cause, the state and the rejuvenation.

All I have myself are stories related to me; stories enough for me to acknowledge that I was preserved by God, and I still am.
But yesterday, the answer to that mystery seems to have arrived.

Apparently, I have never prayed to God to demand an answer on what happened during that period but he was benevolent enough to reveal it for my use, and also for you reading this. It could be the only reason why I am writing this.

Yesterday, my wife called a man of God she has known even before I met her.

This means I only got to know this man after I knew my wife, and I had not related this story to either of them.

I noticed she was on the phone which is normal for anyone with a mobile phone.

When she dropped the call, she came to me to say that in the course of their conversation, the man of God mentioned that when I was a child, I was so sick that everyone thought I was going to die, that she should confirm this from me.

The man said but for GOD’S MERCY, I would have died as a child and there was nothing anyone could have done to get me out of it. It feels surreal as I write this. All I can say is thank God for preserving me.

Well I confirmed to my wife that it was true.

But why was I that sick?

I didn’t know that till yesterday. And for someone like me who believes in the deep spirituality and mystery of life, I had never thought about it.

The man told my wife that when I was born, I was perfectly fine until someone came for new baby salutation.

In the part of Africa where I come from, when a woman gives birth, friends, family, neighbors and well wishers visit to congratulate the woman and husband on the arrival of the baby. Some bring gifts if they choose.

This particular person may have brought gift but he or she had a different agenda. This person touched me and cast a sick spell on me: a spell that was intended to kill me as a baby. Yes, that was why this person visited.

The world is deep, deeper than you’ll ever realize. The man of God mentioned a specific reason why this person wanted me dead as an innocent child but I will not say it because it is not for the purpose of this write up.

But like every other evil, this reason is borne out of jealousy, envy, greed and sheer wickedness.

I have a good heart, my parents have a good heart. You have a good and so do your parents but can you say that about your neighbor, friends, family, relatives or well wishers? No you can’t, unless proven.

The best form of protection you can give to your children is spiritual protection – through prayers, intercessions, sacrifices and sound admonition.

Due to the knit and communal culture of family in Africa, it may look weird to shut out your children from family.

But they must be protected from both within the family and outside the family.

Again, don’t just let anyone touch your child, especially when they are still babies. Even medical doctors advise against it.

Pray for your kids before they step out of the house and before you receive visitors – whether family or not.

This is not going about suspecting everyone and living in fear, it is about you being a parent, a protector.

Ask God to build a hedge of protection over them, He will. A lot of kids and young people are behaving strangely not because of bad training or as a result of their parents’ sins but because of an evil spell cast upon them by misguided people, either by touch or by word of mouth.

It’s a wicked world; a world where a lot goes on spiritually than it goes physically.

It is a world where every physical event is a manifestation of a concluded spiritual event. Let your children know this.

A lot of people die mysteriously, these include kids, the young and the old. But God saved me out of pure mercy and love. I mean, I was just a harmless baby. I knew next to nothing, I had hurt no one but someone wanted me dead.

You don’t need to hurt anyone before they’ll want you dead. Know this and be wise.

Summarily, I want to thank God for saving me, for preserving me and for this, I’ll remain eternally grateful.

Protect yourself and your children. Give more consideration to the spiritual aspect of this protection because you won’t always be there with your kids.

Execute the physical aspect of it as much as you are capable and leave the rest for God.

As for this person who wanted me dead as a baby, I don’t even know you and the man of God said you are dead.

If you were alive, I would have visited you to know exactly what was going through your mind. May God judge you according to your deeds.
Those who want us dead for no justifiable reason will see us shine and still die before us. Amen
