I think we should help OJB if we can. Have the feeling that all the DOnjazzy's N200M wine, Dbanj's N3.2M suits and bla bla bla are just not real. Agreed that they are making some money but I find it so difficult to beleive that they make lots of money to the extent that they will spend millions of naira in such manner, this OJB case lends credence to this fact. If any of them is so rich and can actually afford N16M, he would have arranged it for their Sick mate and brag about this on Twitter.... jes passing by though

Islam for Muslims / Re: The Last Sermon Of Rasullulah (may Allah Have Mercy Upon Him) by Lanspower(m): 8:47pm On Jun 21, 2013
Thanks for this beautiful piece. These are simple instructions from our beloved prophet which if all Muslims abide by them without transgressing will make the Deen to attract many more followership. May Allah bless our holy prophet Muhammad and the Deen of Islam.

Family / Re: Letter To My Child - From A Trying To Conceive Husband by Lanspower(m): 11:39pm On May 30, 2013
I do really feel for the OP. I can tell how down his wife can be, waiting so long to conceive. It took me lenghty of sermon day in day out to safe my wife from turning into something else when she was struggling to conceive just months after our marriage. The fact that she did pregnancy test in Nigeria and came out positive only for her to be tested negative when she joinned me in England worsened the matter. She didnt beleive there could have been error somewhere especially when she didnt see any sign of miscarriage albeit her period which forced us to do a reconfirmation of the test which later showed she had never conceived. I would see my wife being so emotional when she watched movies where someone was pregnant or had a baby....Now the story is different, she got it and it's in there now...she now understands how discomforting life is during pregnacy but she doesnt care, all she does now is to give me conditions for sleeping on the same bed she used to beg me to come and sleep...it's all banters now, the agony of seemingly endless wait is gone, we now know when it is and we know what it is. MAY GOD ALMIGHTY MAKE THIS DAY YO WROTE THIS LETTER THE END OF YOUR WAIT AND GRANT YOU AND YOUR WIFE WHAT YOU DESIRE.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Did Mourinho Fail At Real Madrid? by Lanspower(m): 9:26pm On May 20, 2013
I disagree that he failed at Madrid. He is just a perfect example of an ideal coach who makes technical decisons without considering any player or group of players too big. It's a pity that Barca are already declining this time and that might be the only safing grace for Madrid next season and beyond. Not many coach could challenge the brilliance and wide popularity of Barca like Mou. Beleive it or not, La Liga has lost and icon and Elclassico has lost its class!

Education / Re: UNIPORT Degree Not Accepted For Canada Federal Skill Program by Lanspower(m): 2:41pm On May 18, 2013
fabby26:

Please what's ur source? How can you tell me out of the whole institutions in Nigeria, that's only uniport degree that's not accepted. That's a very BIG LIE. Afteralk uniport ranked 8th position out of almost 100+ universities in Nigeria according to NUC 2013 ranking and secondly there's lot of uniport graduates enrolled in Canada for the program. So your source is misleading.

Education / UNIPORT Degree Not Accepted For Canada Federal Skill Program by Lanspower(m): 2:15pm On May 18, 2013
Just can't believe this. The agency being used for degree accreditation for the on-going Federal Skill program in Canada has singled out degrees from Uniport as the only one they will not be considering for accreditation. I stumbled on this while browsing through the eligibility requirement for applicants from Nigeria. The question is Why UNIPORT? Don't they realise that is the Alma Mata of our dear president and our great Firstlady?
Politics / Re: What Is Your Definition Of Development? by Lanspower(m): 8:40am On May 14, 2013
Development is transforming a negative film from analogue camera to a close semblance of pictured object. It is fast becoming an archaic term no thanks to the advent and mass production of digital camera shocked

noblezone: Asari!

I salute your courage!

Anybody castigating you should have his head examined!

The North has been threatened us since and House of Rap (sorry Rep) never heard it.
It is a shame!

Why do you think Jonathan must be re-elected and when has re-electing a president become what a single man will force on millions of people? Why cant he wait for Goodluck's scorecard as a president to get him another term? That silly Asari needs to go back to prison where he belongs and your head really needs a through examination by a combination of native doctors and psychiatrists your gbagaun says it all...
Sports / Re: 3SC Vs Gombe Utd (2 - 0) On 10th March 2013 by Lanspower(m): 9:34pm On Mar 10, 2013
...And next time 3SC are away to Gombe it will be Gombe 2 - 3Sc 0(1)....or at worst it is 0-0, 1-1, or 2-2. As much as I laud the OP's effort to garner recognition for our own league, I still beleive it is a complete waste of time to watch this league when there are other leagues playing to the rule of football. Do me a favour by presenting the full results of Our league for say 4 weeks and show me where a home team lost, then present result of EPL, La Liga or Serie A where no home team lost in the past 4 weeks.

Have you forgotten Charles Akunor (Ghana)? Ismail Bassole (CIV, he scored their 2 goals against Nigeria in the Semis of 1994), What of our own Benedict Iroha ( a world class defender who 'executed' Traore and Tehi of CIV in the 1994 Semi to prevent them from causing Havoc to us), and your list could not even recorgnize Dodo Mayana, Peter Rufai the great!, as far as African Cup of Nation is concerned, Rufia remains one of the safest hands! and pls tell me the criteria you used to prepare the list that put Rashidi Yekini down down the list.

C.E:
Why is it that the muslim are always the culprits in the kind of cases is it a must that all must convert to Islam so that they will be peace?
Read the story and employ your reasoning sense (if you've got one). The murder apparently had more bearing on the fact that the late lady was dating another man than the religious difference. Why did the husband not kill her before their argument about the religion their daughter would practise separated them? How come Mr Adeniyi resorted to issuing threats to Mr Alabi when it was not stated anywhere in the story that the latter was a christian attempting to influence the religion of the former's daughter? We will analyse issues better when we rid ourselves of our religion bigotry and use the sense God has given us which is common to us all.

I am a fan of Emeka Ike, I always love watching him but I think Ramsey is in a level above him in loverboy roles. I would rather give Emeka a nod ahead of Desmond Elliot, his roles in love movies are too predictable.
Politics / Re: What's The Difference Between 'Osun State' And 'State Of Osun' by Lanspower(m): 9:12am On Dec 05, 2012
Ikengawo: it means a lot if you have a strong grasp of english

State of Osun says that Osun is an entity beyond the state it's self and State of Osun is the state body representing that entity
Osun State say that Osun is the type of state you're dealing with

State of Osun is therefore recognizing Osun's precolonial or possibly cultural legacy and saying this particular state is only representing that.
You must see your doctor immediately or ASAP coz you are making no sense and this could be an early sign of mental disorder...No ill-feeling though
