I could keep snakes as pet provided it gets its injection monthly. Also the teeths has to be checked every two weeks becasue they grow fast. What i will not do is have a cat or mouse as pet when there is snake in the house. If u work into a house and see water foutain with snake inside, it looks very preety. They are preety animals.

its against the law, if the bank do that, u can file a law suit against them. I see the advert everyday. Its true and real. Banks liquidate funds here, same goes for people paying annuity for purchases like cars and landed properties

I suggest that nigeria should digitally speed up with its national registry so that stay at home issue for census can be avoided. With good degistry track record, every birth in a nigerian family can be recorded and each family knows how many they are and if each family is given an identity, then nigeria is one step away to become a hero

I came back with new skills, new certfications to carry out health personnel training for industry, new contacts for marketing absolutely essential medical devices, commonplace in the USA, but not existing in Nigeria.

I now have a registered company to sell my new skills and devices, while planning the American attack for another day, God is good and am hopefull that the Nigerian factor wont catch up with me,

You are right but OBJ will not be president forever and i know your fear/risk becasue any new leader will like to distablize and built to eat his or her turn, hence transcorp might fall. However if they can come up with a way to tackle the problem, then they will be strong. For example,

If nigerian billionaires contribute enough capital to build a stable electricity in nigeria. Each of the billionaires should have a stake in the business, but if a new president comes in, he might try to change the income of the stake holders by buying shares within the company to the extent that the income of the original ventures might go down

However, if we really look at trancorp from the developmental perpective, it is a good idea and really really worth it for nigerians.

Legal status is very important in America.  Everything rides on your social security number, and if you don't have one legally, Nigeria is a better option.

I don't really know how hard it is to get work as an illegal alien.  An estimated 20 million Mexicans live in the US illegally.  They're all working.  How is that possible?  Well, Mexicans are known to create fake documents and sell them to illegals, or they may use legal papers of relatives.  Since, most employers don't check legal status, the fake papers work.  Also, illegal aliens can apply for a work-only social security card, to enable them pay taxes to the USA.

I don't think America deports illegal aliens, except in rare circumstances where the person is considered a threat to national security.  Getting into America is the difficult part.  Once you're in, you're ok.

However, as an illegal alien, employers will try to take advantage of you, even if they don't know your immigration status.  Only people living legally can fight them in such cases. Also, you can't get a driver's license without legal status, and it's tough in America if you don't drive.

Most illegal aliens earn minimum wage - about $6 an hour ($12,000 a year, working 40 hours a week).  After taxes, you may take home less than $10k.

If you're not staying in cities like NY or LA, a typical studio apartment costs $500/month to rent.  If you share an apartment, it'd cost about the same.  By the time you pay for transportation, gas, electricity, phone, cable tv, laundry, food, etc, you're left with nothing.

So, you have to take up extra jobs to make ends meet.  With another part-time job + weekend jobs, you can probably take home another $10,000 a year.  But trust me, you'd be returning home each day tired as a dog.

My advice is to return to Nigeria, and plan for another strategy.  Maybe try to get into a nursing school in America.  Since America is experiencing an acute shortage of nurses, chances are good that after graduation, a hospital would petition for legal status on your behalf.  They're allowed to do that.  Nurses earn at least $50,000/year as fresh graduates, and they work a ton of overtime hours too.

But the other problem is how to get a student visa in Nigeria to study in a nursing school, when you're already a medical doctor.

Your other option is to start a relationship with an American (http://www.oasisoflove.com). She has to come to Nigeria at least once to see you. After that, you can obtain a fiancee visa to enter the US. After marriage, green card, then naturalization.

Regarding the price you mentioned, I will be moving to manhattan in april, average one bedroom apartment in manhattan is $1800 per month, so it will not be a place for illegal aliens, however if he still want to be in the city, then maybe brooklyn or northern Jersey will be a good option to get low cost share housing,

Well, If I want to go into such, I won't be looking to power the whole of Nigeria. I'd just pick 1 or 2 money hotspots like Abuja, Lagos and power those two cities. That's enough! At least, mobile phone netwrok companies like MTN, Glo did not start by networking the whole of Nigeria. They first started with Lagos, Abuja and gradually moved to the rest, when possible.

You can do that but expect break even to come after a very long time. UNless you expand your base to speed up your gross income. This is a capital intensive progect

I cant see how mobile devices like cell phone are needed to use wifi. This is signal in the air, provided you have a computer with the card they will give you, you can connect very weel. Phone line is only important one category of "LAN"

Having said that I will join the rest of the bandwagon, NO, don't be illegal, not after 9/11. I will advice u spend d rest of ure days in US going to d library talking to people and finding out about MCAT and medical schools etc. Go back home and plan ure trip, but be prepared that u might spend another 4 years or so just schooling to be considered an "american doctor" before u start making any serious money.

There is no option about this situation, american dream as a doctor pays a lot but i tell you, you will not have time for other life responsibility. You will sign a document here in the us to love your job more than any other thing becasue you are dealing with life hence most doctors in the us have relationship problem.


If you thinking of making plan to study here, then start concidering this even better marry a female doctor who can comperhend with you when it starts. I know this for sure cos my uncle is a medical surgeon and they are the highest paid profession in the US but even at that, there is no happiness !

My suggestion is that with your few remaining days, you either arrange a job or hustle to get admission for a post-collegiate program. That way you can get a school or work visa, and you can return to the US and stay legal longer.

As a Doctor you will find work, but if you are illegal, you'll find it difficult especially after 9/11. If it was before that you could take the risk, but now you'll be part of the underground economy, and your only choice then might be to get a wife. Your girlfriend no go like that wan.

Besides your passport has been disvirgined and you are a doctor with a job, if you decide to make your visits annual or return to school I seriously doubt you will be denied. If your intention was not to disappear upon arrival, it is hard to be prepared mentally. I wish you the best. I know its sweet, but starting afresh requires more than two weeks of planning, especially if you are illegal.

Power is a relative problem so if u want to go to power, u will need intensive capital and its gona be limited too. Powers from dams alone cannnot power the whole nigeria. that is why we are gradually trying to acquire neuclear power for"saftey" use only. But even at that, the grant to use such source is soley based on the government. I am very sure they know the solution to this and they are dealing with it as much as they can

The worst thing you will do to yourself is to stay a day longer than you are expected to live here. You dont only blakmail your name in the US but the chance of getting another visa to come here will be denied if you go home after your experation date. No one is above the law here so better start going home.

Other problems like my predicessors mentioned wil arise and u will feel like going back home. I am coming home myself when am done with this country. I think i will be happier in nigeria, I got family, got bros and sis, got my lovely girl friend and more in nigeria. Go home!!! homiee!!
