From my POV, I don't think the OP is made in bad taste. I believe the OP is letting the "just 50k" guy understand that, if it's about his "just 50k" or sufferings and responsibilities alone, he might not even make the list, as God might rate him lower compared to others.

Then the question is, Is he God to know how God choose to answer different prayer request before him? You do know almost everyone going through this recruitment process is praying to one God or the other? Does it mean everyone prayer will be answered?

Situation can be similar but they are not the same. Let each use whatever they have as their prayer point.

What I am against was the way that post was constructed. Everyone desire a better life irrespective of what they are passing through. No one made anyone of us here judge on how someone else should say his prayer.

Let everyone say his prayer the way they want. We are not God so we shouldn’t attack someone else prayer.

I guess it is the "just 50k" that "angered" the OP. Yes he might not be getting that 50k as at when due or the 50k is small, but the "just 50k" is still a hope to cling on to, unlike some others that are jobless.

2. There are some people that borrowed money as transport to the interview, these people might be worse than the "just 50k" guy

3. There are some "indigent" guys during interviews. These people are obviously worse than the "just 50k" guy. At least, for the interviewers to know from the appearance alone, says it all.

4. Majority of us here, save "I'm earning twice as much what NNPC is offering" and people from wealthy family, are all struggling, in fact most GTs are jobless, and if they should start telling the "just 50k" guy their own stories, he will probably praise God for his own case.

5. Therefore, majority of people that "like" the OP post, did so, because they believed that, the OP's case is not the worst, and if it will be based/ranked on who is suffering most, he might find himself outside of the rumoured 1300 interviewees they want to employ.

During prayers, using your conditions/case to pray is allowed. Until you are in his shoes earning the “so called 50k” before you begin to understand the reason behind that prayer.

Moreover, there’s nothing stopping others from expressing their case during prayers. If the life you are living is not what you want, by all means say it out when you pray.

Everyone prays with sentiment/emotions. It doesn’t invalidate the prayer. So that post is made in bad taste.

One thing i noticed last season was the tendency to play Fred at RCM to accommodate Pogba.
Ole can try a double pivot of McTom at RCM and Fred at LCM with Pogba advanced to see if that will work.

He will have to try, he has no choice. Ed made sure of that.

Against big teams yes we can play Pogba in AM and pair McTom with another CM (who that player should be I am not sure).
However against small teams we can play Pogba deep with McTom and play an extra attacking player (Lingard, Mata, Pereira, Gomes, or Sanchez) in that AM role.

P.S I am not sold on that Fred guy. Still appears too lightweight for me.

If not that Fred has refused to settle down, he should be starting alongside McTom since Ed and Matt judge have refused to be fortunate.

They had better buy a new CM in the Jan if Fred doesn’t sit up.

First of all, Fred is not ready. He’s weeks behind others - McTom, Pereira and Pogba in term of fitness and playing in the system. Maybe a sub in the match after Wolves (Away) and we’ll see how things go from there.

I’d like Pogba behind the striker too but he just isn’t quick enough to play there. The vision is there and his technique is fantastic but opposition teams won’t give him the extra second he requires to dribble, make that killer pass or to shoot.

If we’re up against a bus-parking team then he shouldn’t have any problem playing in a more advanced position of a midfield trio.

So, a no from me. Stay put in midfield and have the freedom to make runs into the box.

Maybe OGS can start Gomes there then or even Lingard and use Dan James at RW.

I just don’t want to see Perreira at that position again.

Matic would be dispossessed easily in that midfield if he had played. He’s slow and can’t match the speed and agility of Chelsea’s youngies. It would’ve been a disaster.

The only solution, maybe, would’ve been using 3 midfielders to help bring the ball out from the back. And That third midfielder isn’t Matic.

I don’t know about you but I think we need to push Pogba upfront (Perreira role and pair McTom with Fred).

Matic is done n dusted.

Is this not why I was lamenting before that some people were saying I’m being pessimistic? These guys already showed us their useless self last’s season, believeing water to come from their rock is on a long thing.

Hopefully, we will be able to hang on till January and hope Ed get quality midfielders.
