Firstly, what is the meaning of the word 'Sustainable"?

Sustainable is the ability to maintain a defined level or standard over a long period of time. In this instance, the variable(s) being argued about is the intensity and high-pressure style employed by Lampard.

I have never said it is not a good style, however, in the long term this season and considering the circumstances I don't think it is sustainable and this is because you are competing in 4 competitions with a thin squad in quality. That means you don't have the resources to maintain this standard over this period of time (which in this instance is a full season) and not just the first 25 minutes of the game or the first 20 minutes of the 2nd half, depending on when the intensity drops or increases.

Too early to tell but i was never sold on him anyway. IMO he had serious Bakayoko potential but it appears he is at least better than that.

It is a fair argument to make if you consider they are without Son and Alli. That being said, Spuds look lethargic and indifferent to this game, it almost looks like they are throwing the game and are only waiting for the final whistle. Spuds are a quality side and with Poch, they should be playing better and showing more effort.

Eriksen is renowned for ghosting big games so it does not shock me. That being said, Spuds set up does not play to his strength with makes his disappearance even more obvious. Apart from the assist for the goal, Ndombele has not played any better than Winks/ Sissoko and that is because Winks/Ndombele/ Eriksen thrive when Spuds possess the ball. Even if you are not pressing high, you close your opponents once they get the ball in your half. Poch has to get his team to play aggressive and force the likes of KDB and B. Silva to defend.

Guys o, some persons are already out to scam some applicants. I'll spare us the irrelevant details. I received a call this morning from a strange number (see attached) requesting I resend my credentials. Reason that they want to confirm if the credentials I submitted during the interview were mine. Local was beaming with joy and happiness, in his mind, his name is on the APL List. I was sent mail addresses to forward the credentials to (they weren't suspicious mail address). Some minutes later I was sent two mails (see attached screenshots). On requesting how do I get my Portal form, I was asked to pay to (#3400 only) to obtain the form ☺. It dawn on me that I passed through all that stress only to attend to a scammer. Mtcheewwww. Local man cannot hold this anger anymore.

Again, who are those stating reasons for the recruitment to be canceled? or better still, who are the ones, that want this recruitment to be canceled??

I'm so angry atm.

Information reaching me from a reliable source confirmed that the recruitment will be cancelled due some political issues. One of the reason they stated is that the previous GMD isnt suppose to conduct a recruitment exercise in his terminal year.

I beg to differ on this. The fact that the GMD's son went through the recruitment process does not substantiate the transparency of the process. For starters, i could guess you have no concrete evidence of the parameters that were used to select candidates for the CBT exam other than the ones published. For all you know, all the influences had all been in the process from the start. Sometime on this thread, someone stated that even before the recruitment was advertised, a friend of his was told to submit his CV by his uncle. That guy may have done his interview in the towers as well and would also probably be given his APL. In that light can you say the recruitment had no external influences?
There may probably be some persons reading this thread and having a good laugh because their APLs are already secured.

I just don't think you can assert it is a transparent process when you don't even know what criteria was used for selection. Heck, no one can even explain the erratic reimbursement of candidates who attended the interview.

I am not a pessimist by the way. i have gone through several federal government recruitment processes to understand that it is hardly transparent.

Errm, that the GMD son is undergoing this process is not full proof that the exercise is without influences. If I were the GMD and I intend to get a job for my son in NNPC, he must pass through the whole stages so nobody will say he didn't get it on merit. Even if I will influence it at a later stage. Afterall no one can tell his scores in each of the stages.

However, it is a pointer of being a disciplined man, because some crude men can just send letter for him to resume without any cbt or interview.
