I will like to be able to use and view webcam (within my LAN) with my Redhat Linux server configured as squid server bwt my network and the internet.

Thanks for your assistance offer.

The changes I made to the default squid configuration are:

1. Addded http_port 9877.
2. Then http_access allow all.
3. Also added acl our_network scr 10.10.10.0/24
4. Then I added http_access allow our_network
5. Then I added http_reply_access allow our_network

With these addidition I have been able to connection the internet via my squid server.

Na so life be. They have to falsify their age inorder to get sign on by these foreign clubs. The foreign club administrators forget to factor in the fact in Africa, we do not peak in our career until we are btw 25 and 30 years.

As for me I like linux but love working with Windows. The simplicity and availability of learning materials makes windows my choice. I have installed and configure Redhat Linux before, infact I am still using squid ( proxy server) to connect my LAN to the internet but the problem is the non availabilty of someone to run to when there is a problem. I think people with very good knowledge of linux are very few and some of them tends to hide this knowledge from we starters. May be over protecting their jobs or what. For the past 12months I have not being able to enable my linux squid server to allow viewing of web cam on my LAN after many researchs and trying to get someone to assist. So how do I now appreciated linux with my problem not solve over this long period of time.

What do want squid to do. If as your proxy server, do the followings::

1. remove the # infront of http_port 3128
2. The change 3128 to the port number u are to use.

3. Remove the # infront of  http_access deny all
4. Change deny all to allow all.

5. The save the cahanges.

6. Go to start (Rehat) - system settings- server settings- service - then find squid and click on it. thereafter click on restart .
The squid service will be restarted.

OR Just restart the system.

I will like to know how to configure my linux server to allow webcam.
The server has been congifure to be the proxy (Squid) server btw my LAN and the Internet but it not allowing view web cam.

I love to meet  and grow in love with a cute (not necessarily beautiful) and intelligent lady. She most be of moderate height, a graduate and between 25 and 28 years. She may be from any part of the world.

The game is going to be interesting and high technical. I believe the bench is going to make the difference. Forget big names-- Drogba, Essien, Eto, Ronadhino and the rest- It is 11-11 a side.
The technical approach will definitely make the diff. It is going to be football at it's best. It can go either way.
