Religion / Re: Is Too Much Profit A Sin? by Lastorator: 10:26am On Jun 14, 2020
Love is the guiding principle, when increasing profit you have to think of the poor people, if you are increasing profit for garri that will mean that a family out there wont enjoy, the bible cursed the people that templered their scales to increase profit

Jelzin2412:

COVID-19 is caused by a virus and malaria is caused by a protozoa. The body immune cells that attack and keep vigilance against malaria parasite can't mount response against an unknown entity cos it's new to the system.

In addition, globally 98% of COVID-19 patients are either assymptomatic or have mild to moderate symptoms, hence it's no rocket science to assume such here too. Besides you have no verifiable data to prove your claims and considering COVID-19 has been shown to attack more people of colours including blacks your theory won't possibly suffice as it's grossly defective. Brazil, SA etc are tropical countries and COVID-19 ain't taking it easy on them. The only reason you have got lesser statistics in Nigeria are simply cos we massively undertesting (less than 0.1% of our population so far) and our poor data keeping system due to socioeconomic factors.

Lastly, COVID-19 and malaria are two separate entities with different symptomatology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. Don't get it twisted!

then why are we having less death cases as compared to the west ? we know dat we are hugely under testing, so what's the magic ?

SirWarlock:
Like the ncdc dg said before states aren't sending samples for testing. Akwa ibom just had their own testing lab so maybe it'll increase testing of samples in the state. Either some governors are going by the covid isn't lethal here narrative so let's just test a few samples or they are just clueless.

the corona is not that lethal, I feel we are mostly asymptomatic, must be based on the fact that we've treated malaria so much that our immune has imprints if it, and since coronaaffects us like malaria, our bodies have mastered how to attack and overwhelm it...

myvproblem is that the asymptomatic may carry it to those who may not be so Strong to combat

na so
there is big politics in this thing, especially in Akwq Ibom.
back then we always has 1case, 2cases, 3 or 4 at most, all of a sudden, it was 3 days to the launching of the isolation centre that governor Udom built, and we had 10cases on the first day, and 10cases on the 2nd day and the next udom unveiled the centre for them, and since then, we've not had a single case.

does it mean the 20cases in 2days did not have a single contact ? does it mean that even with our proximity to Rivers state, that is always staging spot with the top 4 on the table that we've not had a single case coming in ? even Aba that had a big spike, is where we buy everything...

the problem is not with the government acting a script, the problem is that they don't even pay a good script writer..
there is corona in Nigeria and its serious, but the government are just making movie scripts off it, and their stories sulks.

Where are all those who believed we were immune ?
Wjere are all those who felt the sins of the white people where catchin up wit them ?
Where are all those with their 5g theory ? Or is it that we hv 5g all round Nigeria now ?
Where are all those that said "Corona is dead" where are those pastors ?
that gave timeline for the virus tosurvive ?
Where are those who said that china is suffering because of the clampdown on Christians and Muslims ?

The blackman tight hold on superstition and lack of reliance on science is its greatest limitation
