Behave yourself or get smacked!

Whether you buy the whole of Lagos or not, l still repeat that when the time comes to "shift' you people back home,
You will have to UPROOT all those land and houses tooyur village

Those who fail to learn from History, repeat disaster, over and over again.

Try ask your Grand Parents, what happened when they misbehaved!.
This time around, there would be no "sympathetic TWENTY POUNDS".
We will simply ask you to remove what belongs to you.

Ndeewonu: I am worried reading Yoruba people here rejoicing that the Igbo man's business has been demolished.
I never knew there is so much hatred for the Igbo man.
But the truth remains that Injustice somewhere is injustice everywhere.
It could be you tomorrow!!!
Stop your imbecilic CROCODILE PRETENCE!

Yorubas are not rejoicing but are just "replying your silly brothers, IN KIND"
Isoro'si, nigbesi" asw e say down here.

Action and Reaction are EQUAL and OPPOSITE.

if you throw me Rat, l am obliged to throw you Snake, in return.
Thats not a crime.

So you expect us to be crying with you, for being stubborn and unreasonable?
Or did the Govt not give them enough notice to quit?

Why is it always this same Stubborness and Gra-Gra, all the time?
cant you people behave like Hummans, for once?

jejely pack out and when it is done, return jejely?

How many Hausas do you see behaving like you do (online and in real life), despite their perceived nature?

lurther: This people don't know that igbos are wise.

I can still vividly remember how fashola demolished tejuosho market at yaba to build a shopping mall all in the name of Reconstruction.

It is almost 2years they have finished building and commisioned that tejuosho market. Infact, they have commisioned it 3 times, yet the place is empty, desolate and rottening. Make yoruba traders go collect the shop na. I always laugh anytime I pass there, you will see girls dancing while music is being played, begging igbo men to come collect shop.
eagleeye2:
Tejuosho was demolished and rebuilt. But the billions sunk in that project is just rotten away.
Lagos state government cannot continue to play with it's revenue generation and hope to still be tops.
Honestly, l dont think "Ewedu" is good for you Eebos! grin grin
It seems to erode the small semblance of brain-matter in your flat.head! grin grin

Let me school you on Tejuosho Market
Yes, some of the stalls are still empty.
But this is a question of "Economics, Demand Vs. Supply".

The investor has set a Price for purchase of those Shops.
Some of the Buyers are responding Southwards (some have bought theirs).

It is common, basic ECN 101 that PRICE is a major determinant, in the Deman Vs. Supply Equlibrum.
I bet you, if the Shops were to be declared "GIVEN OUT FOR FREE" today, it will all be taken within five minutes of such declaration.

What that should tell you, ....if you are not the "typical, Eediotic, Ibotic dimwit" that most of you are, ....is that a day will come when the Demand for such Shop allocations by Traders, will meet the Suppliers willingness to give it out... AT THE EQUILIBRIUM PRICE!
But the beauty of the whole investment is that it is a "landed Investment" and if you guys are scholled at all, as opposed to these Ibo-Gala-Sellers that populate Nairaland, you should know that The "real value" of such Investment ALWAYS INCREASES WITH TIME!
grin grin

I dont have time to be teaching basic Economics on Nairaland, to some foolish Ibo boys whose only ambition in life is to "buy Lagos" and dominate their host.....
cos l know for a fact, that it is a PIPE DREAM!

Chukwugekwu:
This is wickedness. .....how can they do a thing like that in lagos ...
What is special in lagos?
human being can easily forget things in this life...... have their forgot that lagos was once a federal capital in Nigeria? If lagos were not a once a federal capital of Nigeria who would even know lagos today. ..
mind you that lagos little development today was hand work of all Nigeria as a whole I meant 36 state of all Nigeria. Lagos this lagos that what is there in lagos. ?
Imagine all the south west has abandoned all their state and focused on lagos and none of them now care about their state anymore and the funniest thing about them don't go to they various homes anymore. ....everyone is busy claiming lagos this lagos that. ..I thought we all voted for change why do you choose to subdued people just because you have the power over them.....
Ibos like you cause other Ibos to experience opprobrium, in large quantity!

No one is saying Lagos is "special"...... and it is, if the owners say it is special but you dont have to believe them.
The population of Lagos alone and its cosmopolitan nature, makes Lagos SPECIAL!
You can have all the markets in the South East (if you'all could muster the courage to move down there! grin ) but you can never have the MASSIVE BUYERS WITH THE CASH, as you have in Lagos, within a very small landmass! Of what use is a "full shop" without Buyers! grin grin
That my friend, is the SPECIALNESS of Lagos! kiss kiss

Again, the "CHANGE" we voted for, is exactly what you just experienced .... IMPROVEMENT IN INFRASTRUCTURE!
What else do you want?

Have you ever being to that market ... and then to Markets in sane countries? Do they compare at all?
I am sure if the "rebuilding" was being done at Ariaria market or the new market in onitsha, you wont raise an eye brow!
You will gladly term it as development, which is exactly what it is.

They were given a very long NOTICE, (by agreement between them and the Govt) yet in their usual "strong-head and pig-headedness", they refuse to budge!
Are they trying to hold the Govt and people of Lagos, Hostage?

Do you know what those people who have built houses in those areas experience on a daily basis?
Can you not see that the "redevelopment" of Tejuosho Market has improved both the "Aesthetic, Logistiacl and Commercial value of all property in that area, not to mention the "improved security" amongst residence around there!

When you talk about "who gets it at the end of the day":
Let me remind you that no one has ever prevented Igbos from getting the shops (like Tejuosho) after redevelopment but the fact remains that they cant get it for FREE, as they want because MONEY was invested in redeveloping it and that money has to be recouped!
That is simple financial economics, my dear!

Finally, let me remind you Ibos:
You have Publicly stated that YOUR GOAL IS TO DOMINATE OTHERS!
In all honesty, l dont need to remind you that NO ONE LIKES TO BE DOMINATED, AGGRESSIVELY AND FORCEFULLY!
Thus, you should expect "RESISTANCE" from those you try to dominate.
That is basic logic.
....and in this "art of domination", it's like a war of wits. ATTEMPTED DOMINATION Vs. RESISTANCE!

.....and like in war, "All Options" are on the Table.

In simple terms, you are paying ... and will continue to pay, the price for your "Wanton Aggressiveness, Greed, Ingrate, Irresponsible Utterances, Deceit, Unreliability, Untrustworthiness, Treachery and desperation for money".

Learn from the Northerners who live in Lagos "peacefully" and doing their business.

You might continue to delude yourselves by disagreeing with me but if you are honest to yourself, you will agree that all the above is a "summary" of that which makes a "welcomed stranger, seek to dominate its host, in an aggressive manner".

I 'case' my 'rest'.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: I Got A Job - Here's My Testimony by lastpage: 1:38pm On Oct 01, 2015
phabulous88:
Prior to August 2015, I never thought I'd loose my job because I am well educated and always met my KPIs. But then I lost my job and had to start looking for a new one. I joined an online job portal, did a lot of cold calling, attended series of interviews but nothing was forthcoming.

By mid August, I changed my strategy and started searching for firms online by using industry specific keywords. For example, I'll go to Google and type ' Associate Information Technology Consultancy South Africa Nigeria LinkedIn' and I'll get a list of LinkedIn profiles of professionals in the industry. I'll then peruse their LinkedIn profiles for the companies they are working for or for companies they have worked for. Thereafter, I'll visit the company's website for information on the kind of services they offer.

I was doing this one Saturday evening and found out that a company in VI was recruiting. I sent in my CV immediately but I wasn't satisfied. Fast forward to Monday morning, I drove to their office in VI and requested to meet the M.D. After about 6 hours of waiting, I was able to meet the M.D for about 2 minutes, and that 2 minutes changed my story. I was scheduled for a formal interview and before the ministerial list could get to the Senate president, I got a job offer.

I'll be resuming work on 5th October 2015 and I'm so so thankful to God for this opportunity. I pray that God will bless any Nairalander looking for a job with a job that brings fulfillment and happiness. Amen

Lessons learnt:
1) information is power - the Internet has loads of information that one can exploit, use the right keywords to get more information. Also, do a thorough research about the company you're applying to
2) Follow up - if I hadn't gone to their office and requested that I met with the M.D, I'll probably will still be searching for a job
3) Network - by spreading your tentacles in the right direction, you are more likely to get your dream job than those who do only online job portals. I did speak to trusted friends and got a couple of interview invites through their friend's friend's brother's cousin's fiancée grin
4) Keep developing yourself - I did a lot of research and learnt a couple of skills this period. No knowledge is a waste
5) Pray - Ah! I prayed o! But don't spend your whole day in the church, go out!

6) Save - I don't need to say much on this
Your English, composition and other salient points in your post is indicative that someone like you will not be out of job for too long! undecided undecided

sihom:
You would have failed as a parent, if (God forbid) your children want to kill you!! Stop that crazy talk right there.

As a parent you can only do so much for your children REMEMBER children are human beings with a will of their own regardless of how well or right you raise them.

In other words, they have the power of choice like everyone else and they will choose to either do right or wrong. You are familiar with the Cain & Abel story aren't you?

Do you think Adam & Eve didn't raise both boys well? My folks raised me well and in the right path like the bible says, I knew the 10 commandments at an early age but when I decided to have sex none of that mattered.

I knew at the back of my mind that sex out of wedlock was wrong and I didn't forget my parents teachings I just chose to do what I wanted regardless of all the right things I knew.

Am I making any sense at all to you? I hope so because I hate it when parents get blamed for the foolishness of their children especially when those children are young adults and know better but choose to not do better.

Even our Creator gives us the free will to choose between Him & the devil, that free will flows to all areas & aspects of our lives so don't get it twisted. Those two idiotic boys knew what they were doing
Thanks for your post.
In addition, let me iterate that we live in a world where the Govt has so much interfered with "Parenting" to the extent that you can even correct these children, the way you should, when you see them developing bad symptoms at an early age.

Are you aware that in the WEST, (where this happened), kids are encouraged right from the first day in primary school, to spy on their Parents, to report them to the Police if they tried to correct them or instil discipline in them!
Infact, some Parents live in fear of their children!
Broken marriage in most cases, is also a MAJOR FACTOR.

How then do you expect such Parents to have absolute blame, if those children go haywire?
They can only try their best and live the rest to God.

A bad child (God forbid we have one) will still turn out bad.

What l think is lacking in these privileged children (not their Nigerian counterpart from deprived home o! ) is the KNOWLEDGE AND FEAR OF GOD... FROM AN EARLY AGE
Most parents dont know the importance of "spirituality" in their children's upbringing. .

Let your child pray for himself, you their parents, for their country, from an early age.
Talk to them about God, about Love, about respect for self and others
Talk to them about the "importance and sanctity of life"..
And finally, show and live an EXEMPLARY LIFE in front of them.

No one is perfect, just try your best as a Parent.

Hmmm..the devil always looks for means to attack the children of God..now he's brought a pastor down.
What a pity!
And in case you dint notice, the Devil is using their wives to destroy them!

From Pastor Chris Oyakilohme, to Pastor "I need someone" Chris Okotie, e.t.c

Even those you have not heard if theirs ir those who just "pretend for the camera", most Pastors are like any other couple, going through a difficult time in their marriage.

The problem is that it is the man (husband) that is called .... the woman (wife) then begin to form "holiness" because of the money and prestige involved.
Even when they dont like the man but because of his position, money and affluence in the church, they hand around but the man can only stomach as much as nay human!

Yes, Pastors are also humans, with all the human frailties. They did not drop from heaven and are not Angels.

I tell you, from my own personal observations and what l have heard from the Grapevine, Pastor's wives in most cases, are very naughty, wicked, provocative and aggressive women.
But because their husbands are supposed to be that "gentle, quiet, submissive and no-fault" humans, they endure all their wives shenanigans....
.... Until the day like this, when the Pastor cant take it anymore.

I believe no Pastor will want to cause a scandal for himself by fighting his wife and will do anything to protect that "perfect image" that people and church members are used to seeing outside.
..And this is what these wives take advantage of.

I remember one Redeem Pastor that was counselling a Young man who was fuming that his wife slapped him.
The Pastor told him blankly "to calm down, it's nothing new, my wife does same to me regularly but l just stomach it" to maintain Peace!

This story is even too one-sided to be take seriously.

We are not told what led to this fight and l am sure that it does not take 17years to know that a man is a Beast!
If you can live with someone for 17yrs, then when shyte happens, you have to also look at yourself in the mirror.
What led to the death of that child, which was the last straw that broke the pastor's back? TELL US PLS.

I know ofcourse, the "feminist and wannabe 'she-men'" will jump on the bandwagon and condemn the Pastor simply because he is a Pastor... and man.

for all of you shouting se this se that this shows you all are immature when it comes to politics, north voted for buhari and with the help of sw he was able to win now 2019 north will be divided since they will be having two contestants sw will go for buhari as usual and they are just 6 States while se/ss will go for the person PDP will provide
so the summary is that PDP might provide candidate from kano and vice from se
after they have restored power back they can zone presidency to se anytime it falls to them
watch out how politics will be played 2019
Has it ever occurred to you that the "North" are simply united and wont allow you to divide them?
It will surprise you that the Northern PDP candidate will ask his co-Northerners to vote Buhari than let some Okoro people divide them.
They know Buhari is already and incumbent and that the Yorubas are behind him
They wont risk their neck for PDP just to satisfy some "Ibo machinations".

Only a certified fool would think the PDP,APC or anyother serious political party would hand over its presidential ticket to the igbos or any other southern region in 2019 or 2023!! Face it bro any party that fields a southerner against a northern candidate in this current political dispensation would lose woefully!! Even if Buhari wins and rules till 2023,The APC would lose should it field Osinbanjo or anyother SWner against a Northern PDP candidate in 2023!! This is simply common sensemThe north are ver much united and do not care about any party as long as they are the presidential candiadate while we in the south keep fooling ourselves!!

Tinubu succeeded in ruining southern unity achieved for the first time in our nations history in 2011,This betrayal would haunt the south for years to come as the souhern regions would find it difficult to stand unified for any southern presidential candidate.

If the APC fields a SWner, the PDP would field a northerner with a VP from the SS/SE likewise if the PDP should field a SS/SE ,the APC would field a northerner with a SW VP.

Better brace up dear, the north would rule us for a very long time to come whether in APC or PDP.The so-called sophisticated yorubas jubilating and thinking they are politically savvy would soon understand what i mean if the APC are silly enough to field Osinbanjo or anyother SWner against a northern PDP candiadate. The recent experience of Femi Gbajabiamilla in the speakership of the HOR contest should be a prelude of what is to come in future.

So unless the south overcomes her differences and unites,we would continue to play second fiddle to these northerners.
You are useless slowpoke!
You did not blame it on you Eedioyts who practice Tribal politics?
You did not blame on you Igbos who hates Yoruba... eben when it is evident you cant win anything unless the Hausas or Yorubas support you?
You did not blame it on your Otuoke master who played a politics of division, despite his cluelessness in Governance?

But let me tell yousomething.
The Northerners are more honourable than you back-stabbing and treacherous Ibos (I before Others)

They know that Buhari, a Northerner would not have become President if the Yorubas did not vote for him massively and l know that when it is time for the South to produce a President (After Buhari will have run his own double term course), most likely in 2023, they will vote massively for a Yoruba.
Remember they did it before, by voting OBJ, a Yoruba person, TWICE, for President.

Your worry should be how your own race, that is "forever consigned to the dustbin of irrelevance", could be rehabilitated and given a chance to produce the President, after 50yrs of absence from that seat!

Ooh, l forgot, that clueless Jonathan is Ibo and he has used your own quota! tongue tongue

BTW: That "unity" in your last statement should start by you Igbos recognising your "Strength and Weaknesses" ... and humbling yourself and stop being unnecessarily aggressive and possessive of what does not belong to you.
You can also start growing a brain, for a change!

Never relevant since day one..

Think about it. Why zone anything to iboland? Hausa people wont vote for them and Yoruba people wont vote for the hateful and bitter people so how exactly are they going to won anything for PDP.

PDP is a worthless party, but they are not stupid...
They are the architect of their own woes!

Any living thing that never adapts and modernize will eventually become extinct.

Ibos close to extinction.... Politically!
